I’ve been dealing with PCOS myself, and I managed to put on about 10 or 12 pounds. I’ve been taking Diane for about eight months now. Currently, I'm sticking to a strict diet and trying to hit the elliptical every single day—hopefully, I'll start seeing some actual results soon.
I’ve been sticking to a diet for about ten days now. I started hitting the elliptical for thirty minutes every single day, and I've swapped out plain water for unsweetened tea—it honestly feels a bit sweeter than just drinking water all day. I've also cut out dinner entirely; if I need something, I’ll just have a piece of fruit or a low-fat yogurt. Mostly, I'm just being incredibly mindful of everything I consume and trying to keep my portions as small as possible. To be honest, I've tried various diets in the past where I managed to drop weight quickly, but the problem was that it always came right back as fast as it left.
I recently picked up some black winter ankle boots, but they’re giving me a bit of trouble—they're pinching my toes just enough to be annoying. They feel like they've been broken in a little, but they aren't quite there yet. I know I probably should have gone up a size, but I have this irrational fear of having "too much room" in my shoes. People keep telling me to just size up, but I'm stubborn about it... 🙂So, please, I'm asking for some advice.
We’ve been relying on bottled water for years now. Honestly, grabbing the 5-liter jugs from the grocery store usually ends up being the most cost-effective way to go. That said, whenever I run out of supplies, I just boil some tap water and drink it that way. Personally, I don't quite trust the quality of the water coming straight out of the faucet for drinking, so if you have the means, buying bottled is probably your best bet—unless, of course, you decide to invest in a high-quality water filtration system instead!
What’s the best way to handle this for people who can't risk direct sun exposure or use tanning beds?
Right now, I've been relying on self-tanning lotions, but they seem to fade way too quickly. It's a bit of a hassle.
I’m dealing with those exact same issues, so you’re definitely not alone in this. I honestly have no clue what the underlying cause is, but it is incredibly frustrating when it hits. 😠 😈 😬 🙂 😕
My friends sometimes try to joke about it, saying things like, "Oh, look, your inner beast is acting up again," which doesn't exactly help.
