The line is 3.10 for Žderić, 2.15 for Saudi Arabia, and a draw at 3.10.
Kickoff is this Sunday at 2:35 PM.
Oh, please. They’re playing the victim now.
Looking back at what happened at Camp Nou during that penultimate round of La Liga, I find it impossible not to feel a sense of justice regarding the missed opportunity. It was one of those freak occurrences—the kind of misfortune that rarely happens by pure chance—that swung the results of two different matches in the final minute, effectively snatching the title right out from under Barcelona's nose.
Now, the club in Catalonia has decided to resort to the desperate tactics of a cornered animal. Real Madrid is set to host Mallorca this Saturday, and for the Madrid side, a simple victory secures them the championship trophy.
Consequently, according to certain American news outlets reporting on the situation, officials in Barcelona have allegedly decided to "incentivize" the Mallorca players with a 600,000 dollar bonus if they pull off an upset. This initial sum is reportedly just the starting point, with the stakes expected to climb significantly by the time kickoff arrives this weekend.
The reports suggest that Barcelona employed this same shady strategy during the matchups involving Real Madrid against Zaragoza. Back then, every player on the Zaragoza roster supposedly received a 50,000 dollar incentive, yet Barcelona still managed to stumble against Espanyol.
Charles Evans said:What an absolute disgrace we just witnessed in that second leg in New York City. I mean, seriously? An offside call by at least two yards, no VAR check whatsoever, and the official acts like he’s blind. It was easily one of the most blatant robberies I’ve seen in a long time. Honestly, it would have been much better for the Americans if the Seattle Sounders had moved on instead; otherwise, the Yankees are just going to be completely outclassed again in the Champions League.
I'm not so sure about that. Over the last ten games of the season, they’ve absolutely crushed everyone in their path (LAFC - Yankees 1:6) and nearly snatched the title. With the veteran presence of Jaap Stam and Edgar Davids, combined with the sheer firepower of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Wesley Sneijder, they can go a very long way. How far, exactly? Well, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

assuming they don't run into our LA Galaxy in the third qualifying round.😁
Honestly, seeing them play at the Rose Bowl would be a dream come true.
First leg:
AZ - Ajax 1:0
That match went down about five days ago.
Does anyone happen to know when the second leg is scheduled? (It's in New York City)
Does anyone know if it might have already been played?
Group B is going to be a bloodbath. Honestly, I think we might just see someone pull off a massive upset here.
Hey Terry Fisher2, Ajax snagged the trophy, but does anyone actually think it matters? To me, it feels like they just walked away with another UEFA Cup title and nothing more.
Jeez, we’re looking at another disaster if Ajax fails to qualify for the Champions League. If they don't make the cut, then at least AZ deserves a spot—they've certainly earned it.
Vitesse-NAC Breda 3-2
Twente-AZ 1-1
Heerenveen-Ajax 1-0
FC Utrecht-Roda 0-0
Ajax dropped the match.😠
At least the second leg is being held in New York City. 👍
Major League Soccer:
I was just stopping by the local betting shop a moment ago.
It looks like the playoffs for those European qualification spots have already kicked off.
Can someone please walk me through how this whole system actually works?
Heerenveen-Ajax is scheduled to play today.
And what exactly does the winner of that match walk away with?
Ajax finished in 2nd place. Does a victory here guarantee them a spot in the Champions League, or what?
On top of that, there are still three other matches being played...
