Long hair tips and advice? in Health ·
I'm thinking this might be a guy thing... It’s actually possible that if a dude's hair gets super long, the sheer weight of it can cause more shedding. Maybe don't let it get crazy long just yet and definitely go grab some advice from a specialist... it could just be a bit of male pattern baldness in your genetics.
I'm at my breaking point in Psychology ·
I totally feel you on this. I’m 22, and honestly, things have been rough. I wake up every morning feeling just... off, like there's this constant cloud over me. I can't stop spiraling into thoughts about death and stuff like that. I try my best to just act normal and get through the day, but sometimes the weight of it all just hits me out of nowhere and I really struggle... My mom doesn't really get it either; she thinks I'm being dramatic. She's like, "You're young, you're pretty, you don't have any major health issues, so what's the problem?" It actually makes me feel super guilty for even feeling this way, especially when I think about how many other people are dealing with much heavier stuff. Anyway, how are things going with your boyfriend? You mentioned you were really happy when you two first started dating...
Flat feet help? in Health ·
So, can you actually "cure" flat feet for good, or is it really just about making things more comfortable?
Losing eyelashes and eyebrows? in Health ·
I’ve been noticing some redness right above my eyebrows and sometimes near my nose too. I actually swung by a Dermatica clinic since it was on my way, and they mentioned it might be seborrheic dermatitis. Honestly, I haven’t dealt with much skin stuff before, so I'm thinking this just popped up because of stress. Quick question though—when eyelashes start falling out, does that mean there's eyelid seborrheic dermatitis going on? I'm a little worried about this small patch spreading further.

I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to seborrheic dermatitis, so I was wondering—is there any actual link between that and losing eyelashes?
Looks like you might be struggling with your reading comprehension there. You’re quoting stuff I didn't even say. Like, you actually wrote that I have more "sis" instead of muscle...
I was just wondering if you’re looking at a larger pectoral muscle on one side, or if one breast just seems a bit more prominent than the other. If it’s actually the muscle, you can probably work on balancing things out with some targeted lifting—maybe check in with a trainer at your local Gold's Gym to get a good routine going. Honestly, though, almost nobody is perfectly symmetrical; it’s just a matter of how noticeable the difference is for each person. But, if you think it's more about the breast tissue itself, your best bet is to go see an endocrinologist first, and they'll walk you through the next steps.
It really just depends. Usually, it’s just one specific muscle that stands out more than the others—which often comes down to whether you're right-handed or left-handed. It could also be an imbalance in the chest or even breast tissue caused by hormonal shifts or just carrying a bit of extra body fat.

It’s probably just stress getting to you... but honestly, you should probably go see a doctor instead.
Help! Dealing with sudden swelling! in Health ·
True... I haven't quite gotten around to it yet... Honestly, I think I'll be fine if I just wait a few days to check it out... I just didn't have the chance to head over there right away.

Hey, we aren't here to bicker or anything, we're just trying to help each other out by swapping info, haha!🙂 Katie, let me know once you get those test results back...

Alright then, why don't you tell me exactly what kind of "massive" damage you think someone can actually do with an Android in their early twenties... I mean, anything at all...
Help! Dealing with sudden swelling! in Health ·
To help prevent blood clots, taking Android is actually pretty good since it thins out your blood...
Katie, did you get a chance to go in for that actual foot exam yet?

Nah, if I follow logic—and considering I’m on those pills—both my legs should be swelling up, not just one... honestly, I'll take one leg over two any day! 😬

I can't even get an appointment with my doctor for a few days. I haven't really been on my feet much lately, either—and honestly, I used to be a dancer, so this kind of thing never happened to me before. I don't have any known health issues that would cause swelling, and I'm actually pretty slim, which is why this is so weird. Like, what is even happening?😠 coppergardener, thanks for the advice... but I just don't see any reason why this started. Nothing else seems swollen. Katie, does your leg hurt at all?
Help! Dealing with swelling! in Health ·
So, I realized yesterday that my right leg was all swollen from the knee down and feeling a little tender. I haven't bumped it or anything—definitely nothing hard enough to cause pain, let alone swelling. It actually seemed to settle down this morning, but then by this evening, it’s flared up again and looks really swollen. I’m totally lost because my legs have never acted like this before, and I definitely haven't had any injuries. It's honestly so weird... now one leg looks super thin compared to the other, which is visibly much thicker! I'm planning to head to the doctor if it doesn't clear up soon, but has anyone else dealt with something like this?

So, the word on the street—at least according to most OB-GYNs here in the States—is that a totally normal cycle usually falls somewhere between 25 and 31 days. For the most part, mine’s been pretty consistent, usually hitting right around the 28 to 30-day mark. If things shift outside that little window, it's usually just a case of it being slightly shorter or longer than usual...🙂

Look, I’m not clueless, okay? I wouldn't be posting this if my cycle was actually behaving itself. If my period timing were even remotely normal, I wouldn't be dealing with this... the gap between them was basically two weeks shorter than usual.
