oktoplove, care to give us a little rendition? 😁

Especially if they sing it like that guy in the mob movies: "quaaaaaaayyyyyyying........quaaaaaaayyyyyyying......."

Getting back to cars for a moment...
The most beautiful, coolest ride ever made: the 1967 Aston Martin DB6.
Anyway... after a few listens, the new FFa actually edges out the original by a mile.

Matija Babić 🙏 🙏

I couldn't agree more!
I’m not usually one to wish ill on anyone, but for this trio... I'll make an exception.

That multipli is honestly hideous, though the Xsara Picasso is even worse—it looks like some kind of damn Easter egg.

3. That damn Football Manager.

Ugh, I know exactly how brutal that is.
I’m a recovering addict myself—not FM, but CM4, which is basically the same thing. It hit me when my career and social life were absolutely cratering because I was pulling 8-hour sessions every single day for months on end.
I finally just deleted the game (with shaking hands and nearly in tears), handed the disc over to a buddy, and gave everyone strict orders never to let it touch my hands again.
It was a dark time.

🙂 🙂 🙂 Man, those are killer.
I’d throw in bacon-wrapped liver, too.

Nomad is trash.

Fair point, but let’s be real: before MP3s were everywhere and Napster was even a thing, he actually helped people discover bands they otherwise would have never heard. Back then, internet access wasn't a given and connections were terrible.
Especially for anyone living outside major hubs like NYC who didn't have local college radio on tap—for many, Nomad was the only way they ever saw names like Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, or Neutral Milk Hotel.

5. Holding my breath underwater for more than ninety seconds.

Give me a break. My pathetic, nicotine-stained lungs couldn't even manage that.

Yet, there were times I’d dive down thirty meters like it was nothing. 😢

Carol Jackson45 said:There’s one band I wouldn't even call overrated; I'd call them top-tier garbage. Yet somehow, they always manage to slide onto every single chart, whether it's the critics or the people's choice : Eagles. 🙄

Agree.
The Doors are absolute trash to me—though, fine, "Touch Me" is a gem. 😍

Technically, those three were decent musicians, but I view Jim Morrison as one of the most irritating phenomena in music history.

As Lester Bangs puts it in *Almost Famous*: "Jim Morrison? A drunk who's tryin' to be a poet."

And then there's Dire Straits—a band I truly cannot fathom how anyone actually listens to, let alone a massive audience. 🙂

4. a graveyard

Oof, no. Even for someone like me who lives for dark, morbid humor, there has to be some level of respect left.

I once went to a cemetery to smoke, and honestly, even I felt awkward about it.

What about Power Play? That’s a classic.
And where are American Ninja 1 & 2 on this list?

Honestly, anyone who actually knows Leslie Eldridge knows all those other ninja flicks are total garbage.

And what about hash browns?🙂
Good grief, this topic again.
It pops up about once a month. 🙄

But fine, I'm bored anyway. 😁

Just off the top of my head:

The absolute classics we all know:
Different Class, Marquee Moon, Dirty, OK Computer, Doolittle, Dark Side of the Moon, Brighten the Corners, Grace...

Ugh, just one album per artist.
That's a tall order for someone like Tom Waits or The Beatles, but let's try.
For Waits, maybe Swordfish Trombones.
Let’s go with Revolver by those guys from Liverpool.
Henry's Dream by Nick Cave.
Dylan's Desire.
Early Björk.
The first Stone Roses record.
16 Horsepower's Secret South.
Morphine's Cure for Pain.
Stories from the City...
At the Drive-In's Queens Casino Out.
Early Foo Fighters, Trail of Dead's Madonna, early Ride.

Honestly, who has the energy to list them all?

Oh, I do. 😁 (Hard liquor, obviously; wine is out of the question.)

Personally, I think the flavor is excellent, despite the high ABV.
If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a beer where you can't taste even a hint of alcohol... like Heineken.
