Look, everyone already knows we get along—he likes me, I like him, it's fine🙂 😘....but don't do this in front of everyone, man. You're totally trashing his reputation😬

The only thing trashing that loser's image is those stupid kissing emojis you keep dropping...

I don't see how you could pair this stuff with some instant Nescafe or a cheap Dunkin' cappuccino. It just wouldn't work.

Susan Clark10 said:I honestly can't stand those old-school coffee rituals my family used to force on me—just sitting there gulping down scalding hot coffee while breathing in cigarette smoke thick enough to cut with a knife. Since moving to the States, I've just gotten used to grabbing an iced decaf cappuccino instead. 😁

Honestly, thank God an iced decaf cappuccino replaced all those mindless, ancient traditions and actual real coffee.

And you should probably do the same if you want to stay sane. Me? I'm going for some chocolate and Turkish delight. ☕

Dana Anderson4 said:Maybe Americans just need a better sense of humor.😁 I was actually trying to say I had absolutely no clue what he was talking about while I was watching that legendary televised sermon from some TV preacher out in the Midwest.😁

It wasn't even a joke...

And who the hell is this Sean Phone guy?
Sean Phone?😁

😁

"Von" is basically German for... well, you know. We use it when someone’s acting way too high and mighty. Like, imagine you're sitting at a Starbucks, sipping your latte, people-watching, just checking out some tattoos on girls walking by, and then some guy decides to act like an intellectual. He starts lecturing you on how those tattoos are just a fleeting fashion trend, topping it all off by dropping a Lacan quote just to sound deep. That’s your classic Sean Phone.
Basically, it's what you call someone when they're acting smart—even if they actually are. It's just not really appreciated around here...🤔

I was scrolling through that maniac's website trying to find that legendary JU HC banner from back in the 90s, but the gallery is organized like absolute garbage... Honestly, those Joint guys were such a solid group, just like those Red Firm guys who were running that hardcore scene... basically just wild kids...

I actually run into this guy all the time who used to lead the Joints; he had a video rental shop called Yoko near my place before the war, and now he’s got some bar in that new building by the Greyhound station, so everyone hangs out at Ganya's to watch games... video stores, bars, the stadium... it's like a classic neighborhood vibe.

That banner shows up at games sometimes, but there aren't any photos of it online. Nowadays, Vendetta is full of idiots... and so are the Blue Tigers.
By the way, Robijas are playing today. They're facing off against Sarajvo. image
And looks like the big local rivalry is happening again in the Cup...
I'm sitting here watching that sports trivia show H. A. o. on Hayat... you have to answer 50 (!) questions just to win a hundred bucks 🤣 and nobody has won anything in any episode yet. Absolute legends.

Anyway... is Pekica trying to pull some Sean Phone nonsense on us, man...?

David Sullivan4 said:Good luck finding a match like that when you've got a beer belly... A buddy of mine actually met his wife on a forum for those local die-hard sports fans—you know the type, total fanatics. She’s all about mainstream pop, while he’s been hardcore since day one. It’s like how if there’s a big concert in town, everyone flocks to it. If a certain team is playing, the whole city shows up. They just follow the crowd, and honestly, they’re perfectly happy that way.

Man, that "Beer Belly" story is one of the absolute legends in my book. A forum full of maniacs... what a wild crew. Especially those old-school guys from Brooklyn back in the day.🙏 .

3. Tattoos on jacked-up biceps.

5. Going to NFL games just to recount every single play to anyone who will listen.

Man, I swear... 😬

but I'm not some uncultured hillbilly... seriously. I read books and everything! I went to the theater twelve days in a row once... I hit up festivals... I watch obscure Japanese indie films... but the second you sit in a seat at the Rose Bowl, suddenly you're the bad guy. 🙄 😁 There you go...

I'd honestly rather not move to NYC... 😢

I honestly don't get people who judge a potential partner based on their music taste. Like, that’s really the last thing I care about, and despite what everyone seems to think around here, it says next to nothing about someone's actual character or intelligence.
Seriously, I can't even imagine being with a woman whose favorite band is The Flying Luttenbachers... and even if she was, that would be the absolute last reason I'd be with her.
These lists are actually kind of shocking to me, especially when someone writes stuff like, "Her favorite albums HAVE to be..." That's just insane. I wasn't even thinking about stuff like that back in high school.

Instead, it should be
a top 5 for cruising around town at night (which reminds me of those three separate charges I had at the county courthouse—one for speeding, one for running a red light... "Did you see that traffic light over by the Annex?", "What light? I didn't see any...", "Do you know how fast you were going?", "Yeah, 110. 😬", "Well, how were you supposed to see the light, man, when you're flying at 110?")...

1. James chance and the contortions before he ends it all

Everything after "Buy The Contortions" 🙂 🙂 🙂

Just do us all a favor and end it, James. Right now.

Then again, I’d probably catch a Lightning Bolt show too, just for kicks. Based on that DVD though... hell breaks loose once they actually start playing.

Just for all my buddies hanging out in some dark corner of the American hinterlands, here’s a little paraphrase for you:

To us, you guys are just Western Europe.
Look, we’re all cut from different cloth here, and honestly? I don't think you guys really get that.
Nah, we’re definitely on your side when it comes to Western Europe.

Bump. 👋

😁
So, they say... dark lordIt’s definitely not some backwater nowhere, you know? We aren't exactly living in the middle of a desert out here. And honestly, that kind of grit is just baked into our DNA... but hey, one thing at a time. 🙂

Anyway... we could probably turn this into a real business venture... anyone else actually interested? 😳

but seriously... GUYS, IT'S A STRAIGHT-UP PYRAMID SCHEME, FOR REAL! If Semir Osmanagić says it's legit, then I guess it's true!

Nicholas Perez33 said:if we're being honest, even people from the South don't really get it. To them, everything is just fine. It's the same deal with folks in Chicago. Just ask Alex Rogers91 and ya:raan. It turns out nobody actually knows anything, but I definitely do. I always pulled straight A's on my English composition papers back in school. 😁

There’s actually a bit of a catch here... look at how certain vowel sounds are handled in Chicago. Back in the old days in neighborhoods like Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan, there wasn't much distinction made between those specific sounds. But over time, that nuance drifted away, and for a while, most people were pronouncing things perfectly according to the old rules. However, this weird habit of using a softer, lazier pronunciation took hold and stuck. Now, we've all fallen into this pattern where everyone uses that soft sound. Technically, everyone can tell the difference, but the softer version just feels more natural to the way we talk.
The only thing pronounced strictly correctly is when you're dropping a heavy curse word—because if you don't hit those consonants hard, the insult just doesn't land.

btw, I'm taking back what I said about Canadians. That lady hosting "newcomers" on MTV totally threw me for a loop... man, that language sounds absolutely brutal. Seriously. In a dead heat with Canadian and Mexican for the most unintelligible language ever.

You’re totally right about me being a guy and having zero vision here 😬. Honestly, girls from Austin are just as annoying, if not more, but let’s just chalk that up to big city syndrome ☕
.

You’re 100% spot on about me being a dude and missing the point. If anyone actually gave a damn about how we're all getting played, this wouldn't even be interesting. We just defend ourselves by acting like selfish, total pieces of trash. And then there's the whole polygamy thing.

But personally, I think it's pretty funny when those girls from the Midwest try to pick up our local slang. You can mess with them a bit, and they end up blushing and getting all embarrassed. At least with the ones I've run into.
The New York accent sounds kind of cute on them too, until they start acting like absolute posers.
I don't know if they even realize how much they sound like total pansies when they do that.

2. Midwesterners
3. Southerners

New Yorkers 👎
The only people who actually get on my nerves are those folks from Seattle.🙂
(Not talking about the girls, though—I actually dig their vibe when they start venting)

I honestly don't know which fanbase is more insufferable, but the absolute peak of pure, unadulterated frustration definitely comes from the people who constantly lose their minds over country music... Those guys are honestly my favorite characters to deal with. It’s always a blast grabbing a drink and chatting them up. 😈 🤣

Man, oh man... you've gotta be kidding me! How on earth could they be better than "madhead"? They're definitely an upgrade over that old track from the tobacco factory, though. Honestly, the only thing that actually beats "madhead" is Mirage.
