Speaking of festivals... there’s nothing quite like watching people lose their minds and storm out of the theater halfway through a screening:

-Audition
-That one Portuguese flick about a guy with a latex fetish who just spends the whole movie assaulting people and jumping around a landfill. I can't for the life of me remember the title, but it was killer, even if I’m pretty sure I gagged and nearly threw up my lunch a couple of times. 🤔.
-Timeless bottomless, bad movie (specifically that moment in the third hour when the guy swallows a handful of pills to end it all, then changes his mind and calls 911)
-Funny Games (everyone in the room collectively lost it when the villain rewinds the film)
-Analife - specifically that part where the guy gives this detailed lecture on how to commit anal assault in Japan without getting caught.

I totally blanked on the name of that burnt-out Lithuanian flick I caught at Sundance with Columbus. It was absolute fire... honestly could've easily cracked my top 5.

Damn, I didn't even include Sleeper, 3-Iron, Two Men Went to War, Broken Flowers, and a bunch of others. Whatever, just throw it out there...

Thinking back to daycare...
The one thing I remember clearly is how we had stuffed cabbage rolls for lunch every single day. I absolutely hated them back then. I used to sneak one into my pocket to take home, and then I’d just flush it down the toilet when I got back.
At home, it was usually meatloaf for dinner. I hated that just as much, so I’d just shove pieces of it under the couch.

I didn't stay a secret for long, though. I got busted on both fronts pretty fast.

I was a total nightmare at daycare. One time, I actually tied some of the girls to the radiator. It sounds kind of wild looking back, but man, those teachers were freaking out. And some of the older guys watching were pretty concerned too.
