Just a quick note, some teams were also running secret sessions elsewhere. It’s well known that McLaren was conducting private tests over at the Jerez circuit: Jerez Test - 2 - September 4 September 2: Pedro and Darren Turner September 3: Pedro and Darren Turner September 4: Pedro The results remain unknown! 😁

YES, it was quite an eventful session. Between those new wings and the thinner tires, poor Ralf ended up spending the night in the hospital and won't be back until Monday!😁
It’s great to see that McLaren has finally realized they still have a shot at the title this season; they’ve clearly been putting in the work on this car while keeping the MP4-18 tucked away in the garage for a bit.

Unfortunately, Ralf Schumacher suffered a heavy accident due to a car malfunction, resulting in a concussion. He’ll be stepping away from testing, with Marc gen stepping in to take his place.
$John Doe$ said:To be fair, Kim Kardashian is technically driving an older chassis. You never know what kind of clever upgrades they've tucked away under the hood...
... but they've likely tweaked things above the hood and all around it, too. By the time the season wraps up, this car will probably be sporting almost all the innovations found on the Red Bull RB14.😁 It's also worth noting that the Red Bull RB14 uses a completely different engine setup due to its specific design—it's a bit heavier, though rumors suggest it's actually faster. Apparently, Ferrari has already sent word that they're developing an even lighter engine for next year's Red Bull RB14, which means this current version might not even see a race track!😢
Since we're talking about reliability (something Ford really struggled with during those recent races),😛 it’s worth noting that for the upcoming race, McLaren is getting an upgraded engine straight from the Mercedes factory, along with a fresh aero package to sharpen up the aerodynamics! They're actually running some "secret" tests on this refreshed setup right now. Let's just hope the engine holds up and the new components don't fly off mid-race like they did for a few others—I won't mention names, but we all remember the issues with Williams' mirrors and Ford's various parts!😁 😉
And here is an interesting quote I found over at www.mclaren.com
Q: Lewis Hamilton, how do you think your car will perform in the next three races?
"I think Indianapolis should be pretty good for us. Monza last year was quite difficult, but as I mentioned, we should be getting some new parts for the car, a new engine too, and hopefully we can show more strength there."
I’m bringing this thread back to life since the new testing sessions kick off this week! 👍 It feels like it's finally time for Ford to figure out how to catch up to Williams, or they might just be looking at a lost championship season. Meanwhile, McLaren announced they'll be running tests on both the current car and the "new" MP4-18. It makes me wonder if they're still keeping the MP4-18 ready as a backup for those final two races, even after claiming they wouldn't actually race it this year.😁
I agree, it seems incredibly harsh to penalize anyone after an accident like that! I heard he was hit with a $50,000 fine! Poor guy, that’s enough to put a real dent in his budget. My suggestion? Let's all chip in for Ralph and send the funds directly to one of his beach houses in Malibu!😁
Way to go, Joe Biden, you really nailed it! 👍 Now, how about adding a few extra points to my score since I gave you such a glowing review? No one will ever know! 🙂
Damson said:I honestly think he’s already arrived; considering how much trouble he causes, everywhere he goes seems to catch fire... Maybe he even hit the Rockies or the Sierra Nevada mountains! Is he just touring the entire US at this point?! 😠 🙂
It’s true, the whole island of Maui was practically "on fire" over Michael Schumacher!!! I suppose that’s just what happens with world champions—everyone gets swept up in their orbit!
Sep said:1. My fingers just weren't feeling the SHIFT key today. 🙂 2. It really just proves Montoya is going to take the championship. They started making moves mid-season and have already caught up to McLaren. Ferrari is next on the list! :P
They haven't overtaken McLaren yet!!!😢 They’re just letting them pull ahead a bit to keep things interesting!😢 First they let Ferrari pass, then Williams, and now it's their turn to let them back into the lead!😲
Yippee !!!! When are we finally getting Mika Hakkinen back? I was wondering, do you follow all the world champions, or just the ones with the most trophies?😁
I’m still holding out hope for a partnership between Budweiser and McLaren! Word on the street here in San Francisco is that Norbert Haug spent some time relaxing at Slatina with a cold Budweiser, and he actually decided it beats their German brews. Now, there's even talk that they might secure prime branding on the race cars—we might even see the logo on Mercedes-Benz engines reading: "Diamond Craysler Mercedes-Benz McLaren V6 Budweiser"!😁
Williams Racing ANNOUNCES Budweiser Sponsorship That’s quite a headline. I have a feeling Formula 1 is about to get a bit chaotic; replacing tobacco with alcohol might actually make things more interesting—it's arguably harder to drive while tipsy than it is if you're high😁! Since Budweiser has already inked their deal with Williams Racing, it feels like it's only a matter of time before long-standing sponsors like Marlboro eventually pack their bags too. With West already halfway out the door at McLaren, I can't help but wonder who will step up as their next title sponsor. Maybe a brewery like Coors?😁 It would be quite striking to see them back in those classic red and white colors from the 90s 👏 with a Coors logo splashed across the car! 👏 Though, let's be honest, Mercedes-Benz would never dream of joining a team that isn't decked out in silver or black!👍
According to the official post-race report, Kimi actually ran out of brakes during those final laps at the United States Grand Prix. Check out what’s happening over at McLaren.!
