Nasal spray recommendations? in Health ·
Hey, can someone tell me how much Sudafed is actually safe to use? We’ve got some kind of virus tearing through the house right now—it feels like our noses get completely concrete-blocked every four hours! It’s honestly impossible to function. Is it way too much if I’m using it roughly every five hours just to be able to breathe?
To rephrase my question, sort of—is it going to cause any real damage if I end up using Sudafed like water for maybe five to seven days straight? 😁

thanks
😢 😉
honestly, it didn't catch me off guard at all🥳...you know how it is with doctors, nurses, and those massive hospital systems
Ugh, I honestly can’t deal with how much these dark, intrusive thoughts about my kid's health are getting under my skin lately. 😢
It’s actually making me frustrated with myself, too—because I know that by dwelling on these worries, I’m just inviting all this unnecessary negativity into our lives.
And then, I guess, I end up spiraling, turning the whole situation into one big narrative about illness just to try and force myself to stop being such an idiot with these constant, pessimistic scenarios. 😢
It’s just... exhausting. I am so ready for this period of anxiety to finally be over.
All I really want is for my child to be healthy and well. 🙂

just stay away from creams and intensive treatments for now

oh, right 🙂
and once the baby comes, because of breastfeeding, it’s probably no creams again either... at least I'll be able to hit the elliptical...

Sarah Adams3 said:I've had it for a while so I don't find it that shocking, but this recent thing has just gone way too far. Last night I was showering and applying my lotions, and I was basically squeezing the skin and talking to my husband like...
ugh, it's just awful. And him? He's just like, "yeah, sure, whatever," being a total brat about it.

😁
and mine irritates me because he claims I'm just making things up—which isn't true—but I know he's just stalling because he's such a huge flirt. I mean, I wouldn't want to gross him out or anything, but for heaven's sake, just take over and give me a massage already 🙂 😁
Jeremy Thomas5 said:In June, when those holidays are coming up, my partner and I are planning to link up that week and head down to the coast. (I’ll actually be on maternity leave by then). I am genuinely looking forward to it, but everyone around me—my aunts, my girlfriends, all of them—just look at me with this expression of pure disbelief. They can't understand why I'd want to put myself through the hassle of such a long drive... (we're talking all the way down to Santa Monica).
They’re honestly sucking the joy right out of me.... 🙄 🙄
What is their problem? Why does it bother them so much that I'm heading to the beach while pregnant? Who even cares? 😢

Honestly, screw them! Just tell them you'll deal with the consequences later. 😁

I was also thinking about going during that same window! When I mentioned it to my dad, he completely lost it 😳, just blew a fuse. I mean, seriously, what is his issue? (I guess he was just terrified something might happen to me while we're far away from a decent hospital)
And now, as it turns out, I'm actually not allowed to go. I have to stay on bed rest 😢, poor me...
This damn cellulite that’s suddenly decided to take up residence all over my thighs 😱 🙂
how on earth do I get rid of this RIGHT NOW!!!!???!!! 🤦 🙂 I swear I didn't have this before, but now... I don't think I'm even exaggerating when I say it looks like an orange peel 🙂
anyone got ideas????
I’m trying my best not to spiral—really, I am—and I always attempt to rationalize everything through logic. We’re only in our mid-twenties, and people say life doesn't truly get serious until you hit 28, but still... I don't know. It just goes on like this—I give it an hour, then another hour, then I start threatening that we’re heading straight to the ER... then she just reaches out whenever she feels like it. And usually, it turns out to be something incredibly minor where I can't even tell if it's her or just my own digestive system acting up—so I end up rationalizing it all over again, and in the end, things usually turn out fine.
I'm telling you, I honestly have no idea how last night went; I slept, sure, but since this morning? Absolutely nothing!
God help me! This sheer amount of anxiety I feel for this baby every once in a while!!!!! 😱
I mean, it honestly never even crossed my mind that I’d be this terrified—just constantly worried that something might go wrong during the pregnancy!
So, yeah, I’m caught between being completely blindsided and just incredibly irritated by how much this fear is getting to me.
The second I don't feel her moving—and we’re only at 25 weeks, so I know, I *know*, I shouldn't expect to feel her constant movement 24/7, but still—I just go absolutely looooooooco. 😢 🙄 😢

James Ruiz6 said:Mom handed it over to someone for restoration, costing $1000. We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.

$1000 😳 , sounds way too low!
Restoration is an expensive undertaking because—well, if you want actual quality—you have to sink a massive amount of man-hours into it (and even though labor costs in America are still quite a bit lower than what an auto mechanic would charge you per hour 😢),
not to mention the cost of materials—assuming, of course, you're using legitimate restoration-grade stuff and nobody is trying to pull a fast one on you...
so, yeah, good luck
🙂
Oh my god, look at this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like an oil painting—and I say "looks like" because it could very well be a print. It’s been painted quite skillfully. I don't recognize the artist (which probably doesn't mean much to you, though)... likely sometime in the twentieth century...
This isn't really the right way to go about getting that kind of information. You really need to see the piece in person. You have to examine the texture, how the paint was applied, the aging of the pigments, the creator, the type of canvas used, and so on—all of those details help when you're trying to estimate age or even the actual value of the work. For instance, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the decorative frame is an industrial product, which—in my opinion—pushes the whole thing toward the latter half of the 20th century. And then, there's always the possibility that the painting was re-framed later on. You know what I mean? 🙂 Maybe try heading over to a professional restoration studio... seek out an expert opinion. Or perhaps check with a museum or, if you're desperate, an antique dealer—though they usually tend to bleed you dry. So, yeah! I don't know if it's worth the cost to you.

Acne, weight gain... is it Yasmin? in Women's Health ·
So, I’ve been reading through your posts and felt like I should probably jump in and share my own take on things based on what I've lived through...
My final verdict comes after being off Yasmin for two months, following a six-month stretch on them...😁

Regarding Yasmin:
Skin (total breakouts) was a 5; appetite was a 0; breast size stayed the same 😢..😬, libido was a 5 😍; my period was honestly never more noticeable—it was shorter and less painful than usual 🙂; and the depression... well, it was just endless... but, I suppose what I realized about myself—and how I reacted to the pill—is that it mostly just amplified whatever states I was already in, whether physical or mental... so, yeah.🙂
It’s a shame I can't keep taking them, because "aside from" the depression, there weren't really any other bad side effects.

After stopping:
My skin actually got a little worse right after I quit, though nothing too extreme, and that dip passed within about a month. Skin is back to its usual self, I guess..
My period feels just like it did before I started, though I haven't had one of those painful episodes yet (the kind where you actually pass out). Hopefully, I won't have to deal with that again; maybe they actually helped clear up some cysts, which is supposedly one of the benefits.
The weight is slowly creeping back (along with my breasts), mostly because my appetite is absolutely through the roof now—though maybe that wild hunger will eventually settle down..
Libido has definitely dropped..
The depression and everything else seems to be back to my baseline (as much of a "baseline" as I can manage..😉)

And that's pretty much it... I have a new pack sitting here, brand new, unopened... but honestly, the thought of the depression makes me hesitant.
