Any weather nerds in here? in Health ·
That’s just how I am. And heaven help me if it happens while I'm dealing with my period, too.😲

Chiropractic care... hmm... could be a solid move.👍
I think I’ll give it a shot. But first, I’m going to lean on my primary care physician and see if she’ll finally order some imaging; I'd rather actually see what's going on inside before I start cracking my back.😁

Has anyone else dealt with something like this?

Or maybe it’s just some kind of allergy?

Not quite, just kidding.
Here’s the situation: I’m not sure if this is even worth reading about.
I was messing around with a kettlebell and tried to perform a "spaghetti" movement without warming up properly. Result: I heard a distinct pop in my right hip. I spent a few days limping, with pain radiating from my glute down to my calf, though it wasn't debilitating enough to stop me from walking. Still, I went to see my doctor because the sensation—and that sound—was unsettling; I was certain something had shifted out of place. The doctor didn't bother ordering any imaging. He just told me that as long as there's no numbness in my leg, it isn't serious and the pain would subside in about six weeks. To an extent, he was right. Three months later, the acute pain is gone; I can run and jump without issue.

However, when I sit hunched over for a while, the pain returns and radiates back down to my calf. It doesn't hit with the same intensity as it did immediately after the injury, but it isn't pleasant. I can no longer bend down all the way, and I have a nagging feeling that my hip looks slightly different than it used to.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Do you think I should insist on getting an X-ray or an MRI? Can an X-ray even catch what happened here? What could it actually be—a slipped disc or something else?

Please help!

PMS madness: any tips for coping? in Health ·
Then some pseudo-intellectual guy has the nerve to tell me I’m making it up, claiming PMS isn't even a thing.

I'd love to see someone actually try to take our symptoms seriously...🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

And can we apply this logic to parents and their kids?

Don't sweat it. I went through something almost identical. Back then, he was just a few exams away from finishing, and I was starting an internship at a firm where pregnancy was treated like some kind of contagious disease. Fast forward to today, and here we are—thankfully with a kid heading off to school, happy, content, and doing pretty well for ourselves.
A child is a blessing.
Personally, I think if things hadn't gone down this way, we wouldn't have pushed nearly as hard to build our lives. We might still be only halfway to where we are now.

That said, you’re going to need your parents' support in the beginning, along with a massive amount of patience for one another—unless you’re already living together. Try talking things through with your parents before making any final calls. I'm rooting for you.👍

So, I was just watching Sandy on ABC, and they were discussing hypnotherapy. Does anyone here have any actual experience with it? Do you buy into it? I’ve heard the results for treating migraines and a whole host of other ailments and disorders are supposedly excellent.

Does anyone happen to have a number for Mr. dark Rausch? He was a guest on the show, and he seems to be quite successful—at least according to the people who have gone to him for treatment. If it works, why wouldn't I give it a shot? I tried searching through the AT&T directory, but I couldn't track him down.

Look, feel free to talk trash if you want, but please don't just ignore me!😛 😉

Has anyone here actually tried Hypnosis to tackle a health issue? I’m curious about the real-world results—does it actually work, or is it just more of that exaggerated hype you see on ABC? If you've done it, where did you go?

Give me a break, what's the problem with Brad Pitt? If I had been in Omaha's place during Legend of Autumn... honestly, it's probably for the best I wasn't there. My heart would have given out on the spot. Heh... heh.
