Either I completely misunderstood what was said, or I misread something, or maybe you just got some facts wrong... let's break this down: I had papillary thyroid carcinoma. It spread to the cervical lymph nodes (cytopathology confirmed—they're targets) and, deviating slightly from their usual "standard procedure," it even touched the muscle tissue near the lymph nodes. They sliced me open from ear to ear and went digging. One node stayed put. A new cytology was done just for that specific one, and the confirmation came back again: target. But right now, it’s dormant, so they don't want to cut it out; they’re just monitoring it. If it moves, I'm heading back into surgery. Kusic (you might know him?) says he actually tracks cases where a remnant stays put for 10 to 15 years without anyone touching it. (P.S. I was on iodine afterward, just so we're clear)... can you believe that?

Wait, what exactly was the question? You wrote that people die from papillary carcinoma and stuff... what was the point you were trying to make there? If you could spare just one sentence to clarify...
And as for the tea, I picked up a different kind at the pharmacy after seeing a recommendation in Health News. Apparently, some professor from some university—who happens to be a colleague of my pharmacist—was raving about it or whatever... blah blah blah. Well, the first one they mentioned wasn't even available, and besides, the inventor apparently didn't want to "certify" it, so it got pulled from the market. ¤

I tried some detox tea once—not sure if it’s the same one you’re talking about... I don't think so, because the stuff I used was specifically meant to flush out metastases and other "pests" from the system. That was about a year and a half ago. The metastasis is still right where it started. The doctors at the Mayo Clinic are monitoring it closely, and if it shifts even an inch, they're going to go in and take it out. ¤

Sophia Martinez65, can I get your take on this?
And you know, people are also dying from papillary carcinoma, just not because of the cancer itself...
thanks
