What exactly is Glucosamine sulfate? in Health ·
Angela Wright said:I’ve started noticing these changes in the joints right under my nails—you can't even see them visually, but if I happen to shake hands with someone who has a firm grip, the pain hits me so hard I feel like I might actually faint. It all started with this awful tingling sensation in my hands every single morning. Did you experience that numbness and pain too, and if so, how much time passed before those visible deformities actually showed up?

I have those same little bumps under my nail joints myself; I don't recall any tingling, so I assume I skipped that stage entirely, but the visible parts have been there for quite a while now. Sometimes they seem to recede slightly, only to flare up and enlarge again depending on how much I push myself during the day. Right now, my index finger is killing me—it's been swollen for over a month and is starting to look a bit crooked, but I'm certainly not the type to sit around coddling myself; I just deal with the pain when it strikes.
I refuse to dwell on it too much, mainly because as long as it isn't rheumatoid arthritis, I can live with it.

If your hands are tingling like that, you might want to get an X-ray of your spine and see a neurologist, at least in my amateur opinion.
I hope I haven't been too tiresome.

Has anyone here actually tried taking Glucose for arthritis or osteoarthritis, and if so, did you notice any real relief?
I was told that since the damage is currently limited to my finger joints, there wouldn't be much point in taking it, though I'm starting to wonder if my doctor wasn't just being overly cautious.

I’ve been dealing with changes in my finger joints for several years now; one of them has even started swelling significantly and looks a bit crooked. My specialist explained that this is essentially osteoarthritis rooted in my genetics rather than rheumatoid arthritis, so there's no need to panic about systemic issues. As for Glucose, he mentioned it’s entirely optional—it won't hurt you, but whether it provides actual relief is strictly down to the individual. Naturally, those little bumps are quite irritating when they swell up, even if the pain isn't enough to knock me unconscious. You're supposed to watch your diet and avoid things like ice-cold water, but again, echoing what my specialist said: you can't prevent or cure this once it starts.
Glucose isn't a corticosteroid, which are the heavy hitters reserved for severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis.
Bioptron: My thoughts and experiences in Health ·
Michael Anderson10 said:It seems pretty foolish to me, honestly. As far as I can tell, Bioptron only works where it is applied—meaning the skin. A Bioptron isn't going to shine a light on a uterus, WTF.

If I were dealing with fibroids, I wouldn't be relying on that lamp; instead, I was advised that applying castor oil compresses three times a week for an hour at a time works wonders.
While I don't personally have fibroids yet, I do struggle with ovarian inflammation, and those warm compresses have been a total lifesaver. You're much better off picking up a large liter bottle at a local drugstore like CVS rather than wasting money on those tiny, overpriced little bottles they sell in boutique shops.
Basically, you just apply the compress over the uterine area, cover it with plastic wrap, and head to bed.
