Are you actually suggesting that Shark Tank is worth watching?
To be fair, I find myself tuning in every Saturday; while it hasn't quite captured the magic it once did, it remains perfectly acceptable. We even have one of our own people appearing on the show. 👍
John Campbell27 said:It all looks quite lovely on the surface—seeing the crowd gathered up north to face off against Inter... but one has to wonder: where is the support from the rest of the stands? The club is effectively a ghost.
I previously mentioned that this situation doesn't quite mirror what we see in the telecommunications industry. Companies like Verizon or AT&T might lease infrastructure from a major provider like AT&T, yet when a service outage occurs, the primary carrier sends out their own technicians—who, naturally, prioritize their own direct customers over everyone else. They also tend to prioritize their own traffic during periods of network congestion. That was precisely why I inquired about potential issues regarding insurance billing; the parallels felt far too striking to ignore.
A quick question for the group: in my city, there’s an agency representing Allstate, which seems to operate as its own distinct entity—handling its own payroll and functioning independently from the main Allstate corporate group.
Is this standard practice? Should I be concerned about whether claims will actually be honored if an accident occurs and I need to collect on a policy?
Selecting a president is essentially no different from voting in a beauty pageant. You simply cast your ballot for whichever candidate happens to be more aesthetically pleasing or perhaps the one who managed to utter more of the specific buzzwords you were hoping to hear. Ultimately, when we look at the grand scheme of things, determining whether Trump or Hillary holds the title of "Miss America" is an utterly trivial matter; it truly doesn't matter. It is just as if the President were constantly issuing sharp condemnations or engaging in pedantic disagreements just for the sake of having something to say... she might even call a press conference merely to recite her latest grievances, simply because it provides an immediate sense of relief. 🙂
It is truly a misfortune that they no longer post anywhere else; there was actually something worthwhile to read here. And quite a few passages were certainly worth transcribing for one's own records. 🙏
I don't follow him on Facebook, nor do I possess the inclination to go hunting for his profile in real life. 😁 Perhaps someone here might be privy to the details and could provide a link or explain the current situation, though I am aware he isn't particularly active on this platform anymore. He was effectively ousted from his position as a supermod. 😁
I wonder if Nimoy is still out there emptying out the bookmakers, or if he has finally settled into a quiet retirement? 😁 I recall he used to maintain a website where he would post his picks; does anyone know if there is a way to follow his insights these days?
