Look, I know I’m being a pain, but this whole thing is just nonsense.
Topic: FBI
After a certain user dropped links to scientific and credible studies concluding that specific chlorine compounds help treat HIV, cancer, and several other serious illnesses, I jumped in to explain what was actually going on to everyone else here.
The issue is, because her post was so poorly phrased, it sounded like this banned stuff—this so-called FBI—was some miracle cure used in America. It's actually the exact opposite. The research is about intentionally suppressing the immune system, like you would during an organ transplant. That's what the study says.
Here’s my post: I can't open all those links right now, and I haven't had a chance to read them closely. I don't want us to mislead people, because it looks to me like those papers were investigating immunosuppression. Basically, intentionally crashing the immune system when necessary, rather than boosting it to fight off "pathogenic" organisms. Someone please look into this and correct me if I'm wrong.
My post got nuked. The explanation I got via PM was basically: For a million reasons, your comments (and not just yours, but since you're asking) are destroying the sub-forum I moderate. You have every right to comment on or criticize alternative methods—just not like this. And since you don't know how to do it any other way—not here.
Seriously, what exactly is wrong with my post, my critique, or my comment?
I have to wonder if the goal here is providing accurate information for the health of the users, or if this forum is just designed to cater to the moderators. I'd hate to think there's actual malice involved.
It also seems like they're letting people get away with calling me and a few other constructive participants idiots and other names, while the moderator just tells them:
Sure. I'm asking the admin to take a look at this. We are talking about dangerous substances that aren't even legal in America, and we're talking about people's health.
