We don't want our kids to spend their lives mourning us—not at any cost, especially not because of us. So, honestly? Keep your heads up, put a smile on your face, and just move forward into the next day! It’s not our job to worry about you... we just want you to pour all that energy into our grandkids!!! That’s what’ll actually make us happy, no matter where in the world we end up!!!

Your mom
Thanks. I'll give it a shot...
Jane,

What’s your take on the Megacomplex from that Megamin company out of Washington, D.C.? I saw some stuff online saying they include zeolite alongside the bee products—but I’ve been staring at this bottle and I honestly don't see zeolite listed anywhere in the ingredients... maybe I'm just missing it? Anyway, what kind of dose do you think would actually do anything for my immune system?

. It’s two melanomas—one on his forehead and one on his back. He’s heading in for surgery on the forehead this Friday, and then they'll tackle the one on his back next week.
Does anyone know what the survival rates look like? Is this an automatic death sentence, or is there actually some hope here?

My sister actually had a melanoma removed from her leg a few years back. They caught it totally by accident while it was still in the early stages—thank God for that. She’s doing great now, healthy and alive. And that wasn't even her only brush with cancer; she also dealt with cervical cancer and made it through that just fine too. Look, every single case is different—it's all individual—but everyone has a shot at surviving if they follow through with the surgery, the treatment, and really changing their lifestyle... both physically with diet and spiritually. My sister is super careful about what she eats, and on the spiritual side, she leaned into her faith, which honestly helped her mindset so much during the whole process. She truly believes she's healed, and you can tell it changes how she carries herself.
So please, don't spiral into a panic. Just face it head-on, because it is possible to beat this!
Angela Wright,

Do you happen to know the exact way I should be taking this capecitabine? Right now, I’m taking it toward the end of my meal—basically just a little bit of food, then one tablet of capecitabine with a sip of water, and I do that five times... then I finish off the rest of my bites. Is that actually okay? The instructions say to take it with food, or at most, within half an hour after eating...

I try to "stay strong," but it’s just not working for me; I feel like I'm literally falling apart—the crying spells are getting more frequent, I can't stop running through these horrific death scenarios in my head, the insomnia, the pure dread... I catch myself wondering if it would have been better for my husband to stay with his ex, who's living in Germany now—maybe then he'd be with her and maybe the treatment would even be better... This is just terrifying. Every time he makes a sound, I jump. He's naturally high-strung, and up until now, I could just tune out his nervous outbursts, but now everything gets to me... Honestly, I just want to pack my bags and run away so I don't have to witness all this agony he's going through...
I know I sound terrible, but that's just how I feel right now

ruggedfox11,

stop focusing on yourself and what you think about who he should or shouldn't be with. Stop building these visions of death in your mind and start focusing on life. He needs you to be steady and strong—to be his support through the good times and the absolute worst... It's your job to follow his lead, and when he falls, you help him back up. But listen, this isn't *your* cross to bear, it's his. He carries it. You just need to help him lift it. So strengthen your resolve—because crying definitely isn't going to help.

I'm saying this because a friend helped me out exactly this way. When my child got sick with an autoimmune disease, I spent three months just weeping and asking "why me?" I was a total wreck and couldn't be of any help to anyone. Then she snapped me out of it with one single sentence: stop crying, this is his burden and you have to help him carry it. That hit me hard.
I'm getting ready to start chemotherapy, so I really need some quick advice here—does anyone know if there's actually a difference between the beta glucan from Eurovita versus what you get from Yasenka in Vukovar, or is it basically the same thing? Also, what else should I be taking before chemo kicks in to help me handle it better? I've heard there are specific things for dealing with that nasty chemo nausea... is there anything out there that actually works?
Thanks for any help!
Here’s my little DIY remedy for foot fungus. I’m not entirely sure how it holds up against nail issues, but for skin infections, the results were basically instant... I tried this on some fungal stuff that shows up as these little blisters—kind of like tiny calluses that just keep growing and growing. Anyway, here’s the setup: take 1 cup of vinegar (usually you'd go with apple cider, but plain white vinegar works fine too) and mix it with 4 cups of water in a basin. Just soak your feet for about half an hour. Dry them off and you're done. If you need to, just do it again on the third day. Everything just dries up and disappears. If it decides to make a comeback, just run the whole thing again. It's super simple and actually works. Might even help with fungus under the nails... worth a shot.
By the way, Scholl used to make this specific cream for Athlete's foot that worked like magic—literally one application and it was gone by the next morning. But you can't find those anymore... they used to be all over at CVS or the local pharmacy, but they replaced it with some other brand that I haven't personally tested yet. If you're dealing with this crap, maybe look up the name of the new stuff online. At least you can always find vinegar at the grocery store.
Good luck !!!
