ASCAP again in Music ·
It was already all over the papers this past Saturday. But then they went and held the presentation today instead. They aren't exactly playing by the rules, are they...

And you're out here talking about marzipan like it's some kind of mayo-infused miracle mixture... 🙂

As for the whole dried fruit in chocolate debate, I think our buddy ntx already covered all the bases there pretty well. 😉

And honestly, it’s not exactly high-fidelity audio material either...

The absolute #1 chocolate I’d kill for:

1. anything with caramelized hazelnuts 🙂

Man, the list would honestly be way longer if I could think straight—but right now, I can't even recall a single vegan option that holds a candle to this one.
So, when is this thing actually supposed to kick off today?

It says 9 PM, but honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to be on time...

1. Discovered Football Manager

I've never actually made the connection before, but honestly, maybe there is one—if you're going to lose your soul to a management sim, you should at least have some actual sexual experience under your belt first... just a thought, I guess.

My number one regret from being fourteen (since you guys are practically forcing me to dig through those dusty memories):

1. Mutating more, goddammit 😁 skviiiiiiiiii skviiiiiiiiiii

Here are my top 5 albums from this year that I just can't seem to get into—which, let's be honest, probably means they aren't actually any good:

1. wilderness - wilderness
2. medications - your favourite people blablabla
3. new pornographers - twin cinema (seriously, someone break my ribs already... because besides the first track, what's actually worth listening to here?)
4. boom bip - blue eyed in the red room—or was it red eyed in the blue room? (whatever, rollin' in the rollin' room, I guess)
5. milemarker - ominosity (I might use that Truch2's quickspace argument here: though, I don't know how much sense that even makes without that girl involved)

Personally, I think Franz Ferdinand pulls off way better heists than Interpol ever could...

Wait, was that the time in Milan when some random band—I think it was Bloc Party—was still just an opening act? Man, I was such a music snob back then, thinking I was so much cooler than everyone else... but whatever, it all went down the drain anyway. Or maybe it was a few months later at that festival near Vienna or something?

And then you run into people who actually showed up and managed to catch the opener while I was stuck elsewhere... what a total roll.

Now I'm basically topping the charts for most missed concerts in history...

I don't know, man—Christmas isn't really my thing. I mean, if we could just slip through the holiday without making a scene—kind of like how a Phil Collins concert rolls through a city like Chicago or something—it would be fine, but Christmas is such an aggressive holiday. New Year's is even worse... 😢

Hey guys, got a new guy at work. Does that automatically mean the mobbing starts? 😁

The top 3 ways to get crushed:

1. Mobbing
2. Bullying
3. Curling—those rollin' stones things

it's the difference in Americans 😬

Speaking of which—here’s my official leaderboard for pounds lost since September 15th:

1. First place
2. Third place
3. Seventh place
4. Eighth place
5. Tenth place.

192 pounds and still going! Yay me!!!

So where’s the weight the doctor actually operated on?

Anyway, here’s my list of most hated holidays and celebrations:

1. That week when Christmas and New Year's roll around (ugh, my favorite time of year 😁)
2. Every other one (which, compared to the first, barely even exist)

Timothy Jones85 said:just copying and pasting my own thoughts here

If these tribes just worked three hours a day—I mean, seriously—there wouldn't be any cancer, no AIDS, no flu, no crime, and NO FEAR OF DEATH!!!!!! Not even animal cruelty, none of that instant frustration because things aren't getting fixed immediately... their communication and relationships would be just... beautiful. I guess I've reached a bit of a bleak conclusion there. 🙂
But hey, if that’s still not enough for you, then I guess everything really is just relative, damn it.

Ah, that classic American envy—Rolls-Royce style.

Man, just take five credits from Biology and Sociology—boom—done for the semester. You wouldn't even have to show up to class or sit through a single final exam anymore.

If Gauss's curve is supposed to be relentless, anyone who grew up playing Liero knows that nothing hits quite as hard as a Gauss gun. 😁

Are you kidding me right now? Is there something seriously wrong with you?

It feels like you guys hit a total dead end in the discussion and now everyone’s just flailing around—honestly, I noticed he’s acting like some kind of mid-tier indie band today... 😁

Look, you guys can't even have a real conversation about how much the King of Raccoons was actually pulling in. It's clearly a massive conflict of interest—probably some Rolls-Royce level corruption going on behind the scenes here.

Man, you really are living in your own little world with these conspiracy theories—honestly, it's almost impressive how much you obsess over everything. One day, you're gonna have such an intense biopic made about your paranoid delusions, it'll be legendary.

Actually, I think you totally misread how much I was admiring that absolutely stunning sentence of yours. So, here we go again—but this time, I’ll make sure to include the appropriate emojis:

🙏 🙏 🙏 creating that exquisite patina of specific obsolescence that hardly anyone ever notices—mostly because all those big-brained types tend to get lost in topics that are completely useless (you know, Aristotle, the Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, politics, blah blah blah...) 🙏 🙏 🙏

wtf!?!?!?!

I see how it is—now you're looking for a gold star and a pat on the back for being so deep...

Is everyone just incredibly uptight on this forum lately, or am I just lacking that necessary dose of ironic detachment? Maybe I'm just living life in a Rolls-Royce while everyone else is stuck in traffic.
