The feeling is quite mutual, if I do say so myself... 😍

Likewise,🙏 😍
darksurfer26 said:I found the film to be incredibly tedious. I was able to anticipate every single beat intended to evoke dread, yet the pacing between those moments felt agonizingly sluggish. Having explored quite a bit of Japanese cinema, I’ve found the spectrum ranges from mindless and incomprehensible to absolute masterpieces. The Tale of Two Sisters certainly falls into the former category. In my estimation, the widespread acclaim for this piece is largely driven by sheer hype; if memory serves, it was simply one of the first modern Asian horror films to hit American video stores riding the massive wave of success generated by The Ring.
I struggle to grasp why there is such an obsession in Asian cinema with young girls sporting long, black hair. What exactly is the source of the terror there? I would love for someone to explain the secret so that I might share in the fear. When I see them peering out from beneath a kitchen sink, my immediate impulse is to deliver a slap in the face while asking, "What on earth are you doing under there? Go back to your father!"—perhaps accompanied by playing a classic rock anthem and engaging in some lighthearted antics with a pair of pliers and a flashlight.

🤣 🙏 i agree😉

Furthermore, the fourth option shows significant potential, so I shall cast my vote there as well. 😬

Cheers! 👋

I second this👍 😍

It seems we have wandered quite far from our original topic.

In your estimation, which stands as the definitive grunge anthem?👋

Chopped liver? One might wonder if we have reached such a state of intellectual stagnation that even the most basic inquiries are met with such dismissive absurdity.

Good grief, it appears I didn't actually bother to review what I had written before hitting send.

Correction: regarding the guitar—it was actually Jimmy Page. I was honestly just zoning out while typing and wasn't paying any real attention to what I was putting down. If it weren't for him, none of those guys would even exist!

My thanks to you, Jeffrey Green16.👋

What did he write about them? That song was released back in '71, right around the time Kurt Cobain was probably just starting preschool.

If we simply ignore him, he might just wander off. 😛
It’s quite obvious he’s merely fishing for attention and attempting to derail the conversation.

Hmm, let me see... here are a few of my personal favorites:

1) Pearl Jam: Given to Fly (truly a masterpiece, my absolute favorite)
2) Pearl Jam: State of Love and Trust (I believe it appeared in that '92 film "Singles")
3) Alice in Chains: Would (honestly, I feel as though it hardly requires any commentary at all)
4) Nirvana: Serve the Servants
5) Pearl Jam: Alive
6) Nirvana: Aneurysm
7) Nirvana: Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle
8) Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun
9) Soundgarden: Spoonman
10) Mudhoney: Overblown
11) Smashing Pumpkins: Drown
12) Smashing Pumpkins: Disarm

...

Perhaps I shall add a few more to the list later on.👋
