rapidtrucker78 said:it’s exactly as you described... every single time I catch a virus, it inevitably migrates straight to my sinuses, and then I just end up blowing my nose relentlessly until there’s nothing left but a mess of tissues... 🙂

I wouldn't say that... though my husband occasionally talks me into playing Street Fighter, and in those moments, I find myself hammering away at the joystick, pulling off these impossible combos that nobody else could ever replicate... 🤣

so sexy... 😒

Runny nose 😬
It all sounds fine, and I truly hope you recover from this virus quickly...

Yep, sometimes when things get intense, I end up clicking way more than necessary... 🤣
I remember once, my boyfriend spent nearly a month playing nothing but one specific build—a support character—and his button combinations were just the same repetitive spamming over and over again. Since he had a mechanical keyboard, the clicking was so loud it almost drove me insane; it was charming at first, but eventually... 😬

Gamers... truly? Is that really where we find ourselves today... 😍

As far as my own personal perspective goes, I find myself believing that the true golden age of gaming effectively reached its conclusion with the release of Call of Duty 2 and Far Cry... everything that followed simply feels like a pale imitation of that era... 😁

Is it simply that those incredibly subpar, low-tier life circumstances—along with all those condescending "just grow up" remarks—have mercilessly brought an end to one's gaming career... or is there something more profound at play here? 😬
So, it seems your primary focus has always been centered on first-person shooters... 🙂
Activision is honestly just a complete disaster at this point, and it’s truly infuriating to watch how they continue to mishandle their own games... 🤦 I tend to steer clear of that entire situation whenever possible......

In fact, there is something quite charming, perhaps even rather alluring, when a woman identifies as a gamer... 😍

all I was attempting to do was find a subtle way to weave myself into the conversation... 🐔

:zu bo:

I feel much the same... 🙂 I miss running... 🙂 I miss breathing through my nose : cry: I miss the simple ritual of sipping tea : c ry:

Are you feeling under the weather? 😢
It is truly a miserable sensation when your nose is constantly running, forcing you to wipe it incessantly until the skin becomes raw, irritated, and quite frankly, a disaster...
Personally, I usually just apply some ointment to soothe it... 😬

Do you play any games, or have you played them in the past? ^^

I managed to stumble upon the Cow level, though I can't say I recall seeing any 5. Pony level...😬

My brother was the one actually grinding through Diablo 3... I mostly just sat there, mesmerized by the animations... 😁
The randomized generation has already begun in Diablo 2, which is a development that has started to grate on my nerves quite significantly... I much preferred the days when one could simply clear out specific levels at their own pace without all this unpredictability getting in the way.
I believe I managed to circumvent that entire ordeal by utilizing teleports... 🙂

I find that melee fighters are quite a solid choice... though I must admit, things tend to get rather unpleasant when you find yourself squared up against the bosses...

The concept of those D3 classes sounds rather promising... if one considers the implications...

The procedural generation of maps has reached a point where nothing ever feels quite the same twice... It's become an entirely different landscape compared to how things used to be... 😁
Clearing everything in sight just isn't an efficient way to play... honestly, certain builds aren't even designed for full-scale area clearing. Take Greater Rifts, for instance... the strongest Demon Hunter builds are specifically tuned to melt down elite mobs and bosses, which means you actually want to avoid wasting time running over those weaker trash mobs... 🙂
The group needs to organize itself with some actual strategy... you should have one person handling the weaker mobs while someone else takes on the heavy hitters, and so on... A composition consisting of DH, Monk, Witch Doctor, and either a Barbarian or Crusader would be quite effective... though perhaps just DH and Monk would suffice if handled correctly... 🙂

Anthony Nguyen81 said:I believe I played as a warrior... personally, I always found myself gravitating toward hand-to-hand combat rather than messing around with archers or long-range magic builds 😬

Back when I was playing in Diablo 2, I ran a Paladin—those aura buffs were indispensable, ranging from the vampire ones and so on—and I also played a Barbarian.

I actually quite enjoyed wandering through Lut Golein, though those Zaharum jungles were a bit much for my nerves, given how tiny and irritating everything felt there... 🤣

What about you?

At least, I think so... my memory of those days isn't exactly crystal clear anymore... 🙂

In D3, the classes consist of the Barbarian, the Crusader (which functions as both melee and mid-range), the Witch Doctor (reminiscent of the Necromancer, which we used both for melee and ranged, serving as decent support), the Monk, who is melee and likely the most potent support in the game, and the Wizard, who possesses builds for both melee and ranged attacks. Then there is the Demon Hunter—mostly ranged, though there are a few builds where you dive straight into mobs, so you can certainly find a way to make it work.
The Necromancer arrived with the expansion; it was entertaining enough, yet such an incredibly unbalanced class... you could deal massive damage, but if anyone even brushed against you, you were dead instantly.

I’ve experimented with every single class, but I spent the vast majority of my time as a Demon Hunter, testing out every possible build available. Some are strictly for farming purposes, such as Multishot, while others are tailored specifically for grifts, like Impale.

As for the maps, they are procedurally generated now... there are five acts in total, and Act 5 remains my favorite.
Was the 5. Pony level present in D1 and D2?
There is also the Cow level... and for both of them, you need specific items to trigger the encounter, which, naturally, you have to craft using various ingredients. ☕

Drew Ross2 said:Hey there, Larry Perez69... how have things been treating you lately? 🙂
I am currently dealing with a bit of a hormonal meltdown... and I may have absolutely lost my cool and snapped at my partner this morning, so now he’s just sitting there sulking and giving me the cold shoulder... 😢

I appreciate you clarifying that for me... honestly, the way you describe your game makes the whole thing sound like some twisted horror flick, which actually sounds right up my alley since I have quite the weakness for horror movies... :lu x:

Why have you completely vanished from the chat lately... I find myself wondering what happened to all those lively discussions we used to have... Tell me, on average, how much of your life was being consumed by gaming sessions back in the day... It seems like quite an investment of time... : D

The daily grind of my career, the endless commute back and forth, and the relentless pursuit of this doctorate... it all seems to bleed together into one singular, exhausting existence... 😬
I used to play back during my college years, and later on, once I had settled into a steady nine-to-five that was conveniently close to home... usually late at night, just for a few hours or so... 😁

hiddenmarlin14 said:I simply cannot fathom how any of you people find the time to sit around playing video games... honestly, I am at a loss... 😵 Sometimes I find myself retreating into nothing more than Sudoku, and mind you, it absolutely has to be exceptionally tedious... like during a grueling finals week at some state university... just to pass the time...🙂 Or am I expected to simply clear my entire schedule and dedicate every waking moment to this, leaving absolutely nothing else in my life to attend to... 🤔

How can you say that? It’s quite simple, really... one just eventually reduces their sleep down to a mere hour or two a day... 🙂

Anthony Nguyen81 As stated by:
I’ve completely lost track of that... honestly, it slipped my mind entirely... :ro fl:
I find myself drifting back to those old days quite often, as the memories of Diablov Hellfire remain etched in my mind with such a profound and lingering sense of nostalgia... it was truly something special, wasn't it?😬

Which class and build were you running...

Drew Ross2 said:Dear Kalica, I must confess that I found myself utterly unable to grasp the essence of what you were attempting to convey... I simply couldn't follow your train of thought at all... 🙏

I am hardly a gamer, so I find myself quite unable to grasp all this specialized slang you people seem to use... 😁

🕺

Farming essentially means grinding through the same maps over and over again, slaughtering monsters, and hoarding gold and gear for whatever character you happen to be running... Mine was always the Demon Hunter.
The Uber bosses are essentially powerful monstrosities residing within their own distinct dimensions, if you will... and in order to breach those dimensions, one requires specific keys—four unique keys for four separate realms. These keys are dropped by certain specialized monsters, specifically four of them, upon their defeat... though finding these particular creatures requires venturing into very specific maps within the game world.

When you finally manage to take down those monsters within the specified dimensions, they occasionally drop the necessary components required to craft a Hellfire amulet... It takes exactly four of these ingredients to complete the set. Once you have successfully gathered all four, you simply need to track down the in-game jeweler who will handle the actual crafting for you, haha...
You simply keep spinning that wheel, circling endlessly, until you finally stumble upon an amulet that actually meets your standards... and one that truly does the job... 😁

The Endgame represents that grueling, final stretch of the game where things truly get difficult, yet it remains the only way to secure the most elite gear available... In the world of Diablo 3, this essentially boils down to mastering those Greater Rifts, pushing through levels one by one until you finally hit your absolute limit. It’s all about progression, really, though the difficulty scales relentlessly... There is even a structured ranking system for players, whether you prefer tackling the chaos solo, as a duo, in a trio, or even within a full four-person party...

For a period of time, I actually held a position within the top 100 solo Demon Hunters across the entire EU... 😬 I believe my current personal best sits at a level 105 Greater Rift... if my memory serves me correctly...

I simply find myself lacking the necessary bandwidth to devote any more time to that particular matter... 🕺

Whenever I see Melissa Torres59, my mind immediately drifts back to those endless, grueling seasons I spent grinding through Diablo 3... just constantly farming keys for those Uber bosses, hoping they’d finally drop the specific crafting materials needed for the Hellfira amulets and rings. We weren't just making one or two, either; we were churning out dozens, even hundreds of them, in a desperate attempt to finally hit that perfect roll... ☕
Those Hellfira amulets were absolutely essential for the endgame, if you can even call what we were doing in D3 an "endgame" 😁

@ironranger67/">@@ironranger67, well, San Francisco definitely has plenty to offer...
I tend to dabble in just about everything, really, mostly just waiting for all the episodes of a season to actually drop before diving in. I make sure to keep up with The Blacklist and Supernatural—provided they don't decide to pull the plug on them too soon, of course—but as for anything else, I just pick things up whenever they catch my eye.
Oh, and I’ve actually started watching I Love You, You're Dead lately.

@Joshua Chavez21/">@@Joshua Chavez21, I have to agree with you there; we aren't all going to have the same taste, which is exactly why there is such a massive selection to choose from in the first place...
I'll provide a proper review once I've finished the whole thing. Certain elements do feel a bit forced, almost as if they're trying way too hard to seem unique—like that narrator gimmick and things of that nature—but then again, some of the characters actually show real potential. We shall see... 😁

Has anyone else here actually sat down and watched Doom Patrol?
The whole concept feels slightly surreal, featuring these incredibly eccentric, unconventional, and strangely witty heroes... I've only made it about halfway through the first season so far, but I'll be sure to circle back and share some actual thoughts once I've finished the entire thing...

I have to agree, Wick is absolutely top-tier!
If you had to sum up that entire trio of films with just one single word, it would have to be "headshots"...😬
And honestly, those dogs? They managed to steal quite a bit of the spotlight from the rest of the movie too...😁
👍
Personally, I’d put it at a solid 7.5/10, though I rarely find myself giving action flicks anything higher than that...

Oh, darling... 😁
I absolutely like your choice of dress; it really does flatter you beautifully! It was a smart pick because it highlights all your best features, and honestly, the midi length combined with that A-line silhouette is just perfect for your frame... 😍
As for footwear, I would suggest some nude-toned heels, perhaps even a dusty rose shade, which would be just ideal for elongating your calves!
I actually wore a very similar cut in comparable colors myself—though I had to swap out the top half since nature wasn't quite as generous to me—so if you're interested, I can send you a private message with a photo of the dress so you can see... 😍

Does anyone here deal with corticosteroids for managing MS, systemic sclerosis, lupus, or mixed connective tissue diseases?
I don't personally suffer from them, but I have witnessed firsthand just how devastating the side effects can truly be... My mother was initially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, only for an immunologist to claim after her passing that it was actually systemic and mixed connective tissue disease instead. Out of all the complications—whether from the medication or the illness itself—the only thing that didn't strike her was her respiratory system. Ultimately, she passed away following a third heart attack. The immunologist maintains he has never encountered such an atypical case in his entire career...
My aunt lives with lupus, and her skin has taken the brunt of it. Because of the corticosteroids, she has an open wound on her foot that simply refuses to fully heal, even after five years... The wound manages to close slightly only when she treats herself with various natural remedies, yet it reopens every single time she takes higher doses of Medrol for more than a week.
I see the same doctor on a preventative basis because I struggle with pronounced Raynaud...
I truly take my hat off to those fighting autoimmune diseases. It is a terrifying battle to endure...
