Finally sat down to watch A Star Is Born just now😬
Setting aside whether the movie itself was any good, Bradley Cooper absolutely crushed it🙏—honestly, I haven't seen acting this compelling since James McAvoy's work in San Francisco.🙏
The chemistry between him and Lady Gaga is actually kind of alarming. I really hope Irina managed to get some decent sleep after that, because I certainly wouldn't have🤣

Just finished watching Sodom and Gomorrah.
I’m worried I might accidentally start looking back at things. ☕

I have to say, this season of The Last Kingdom isn't quite hitting the mark for me.
I was looking forward to it, and sure, there were a few decent episodes—though even then, I’m mostly talking about specific scenes rather than entire episodes.
It was good while it lasted, but honestly, it's time to wrap this up and stop dragging it out.☕

Bohemian Rhapsody is absolute garbage. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but Rami Malek has all the charisma of a dead battery or something... I guess. The whole movie is just tedious, and honestly, there isn't even one single redeeming quality that makes sitting through it worth the effort. I tried to warn you guys.

The dynamics are strictly traditional; she lives with her father, who suffers a stroke, forcing her to become the breadwinner.
Her mother isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, and her brother is just a lazy guy who's equally clueless.
Marijanac is timid and insecure, yet somehow defiant. Even though she usually caves to her mother, she has these outbursts that catch her mom completely off guard.

Anyway, it's a heavy drama—dark and grueling at times, with flashes of dark humor thrown in. 😁

Thanks for the review, Morganick—I think I'll definitely give this one a look... I’ve always had a soft spot for those kinds of American films 🙂

I watched *True Detective*. It’s alright. A bit much, perhaps, but it gets the job done. If you have the patience for slow burns and heavy atmosphere, it might be worth your time. Just don't expect anything easy.

It’s been a long time since I sat through the first two seasons. After a massive hiatus, I see the third season is finally out. I'll probably get through it over the next few days.
They’re cut from the same cloth as the Vikings, though they might actually have more potential.

I remember seeing Malek in some old comedy sketch once—he was playing some neighbor from the Middle East or something... honestly, "dead battery" is being generous. His range? About as wide as Kristen Stewart's. I sat there just stunned listening to people hype up his acting, but the guy is a complete vacuum. I have absolutely zero interest in sitting through this flick.

Hey Simica, I watched it and yeah, we were totally right. The guy is awful. The movie itself isn't anything special, but he just completely killed it. It would’ve been a much better film if they’d found someone with actual energy. He’s totally unconvincing—even a boiled noodle looks more alive than he does. And physically? He’s nowhere near Freddie. It’s like comparing a snowflake to an avalanche. I can't remember why Sacha Baron Cohen dropped out of the running, but I swear he would have been a way better choice.

I truly appreciate how rapidly the plot moves, though certain characters certainly grate on my nerves—sometimes even Uhtred himself and the choices he makes. It would be even better if he were finally done with Alfred's daughter 😍 although I do feel a sense of sympathy for her and Ragnar.

Honestly, the new season of True Detective isn't bad at all.

I have. Honestly, they irritate me. Ivar, in particular, gets on my nerves. I suppose I’ll finish it just so I don't leave things hanging, and in the vain hope that the next season might actually be better than this one.
