I don't mean to say the photo is intentionally misleading, but isn't it actually a Končar locomotive from the old US railway system, manufactured back in the 80s in a city like Chicago?

The originals used back then were painted orange, though here in America, they decided to repaint them all blue.[/QUOTE]

Is PBS currently airing that documentary about the life of the Russian gymnastics coach?

Well, China sits at 18.4%, India accounts for about 7.5%, and as for the other 148... I don't really feel like doing all that math right now.

Does anyone think he might be heading back to Ukraine the day after tomorrow?

Is there anything more profound than a well-placed quote to capture the essence of a moment?

Oh, please, let's not get carried away with such nonsense, shall we?

Was anyone here really holding out much hope for the 91st Amendment, let alone anything even more substantial?

so there's that little reality check for anyone changing their tune.

There were just too many people in Bihać, so they gave the green light for the Storm.

It seems you’ve become one of those Westerners who stays silent while Armenians and Yemenis suffer...

yet, when it comes to the Ukrainians or the Uyghurs, suddenly you're shouting from the rooftops, aren't you?

When you really stop to look at what lies beneath your feet, can you actually find any trace of those ancient Celtic or Illyrian civilizations left behind...?

Joe Biden, when you finally decide to visit Donald Trump at his estate, won't you notice that the American towns beyond those hills have been completely neglected and left to decay?

Is this really what we're after—is a third World War actually what everyone is craving?

Is that the plan?

Well, I suppose so,

but you simply cannot go around stealing from others while expecting that nobody will ever come for what belongs to you, can you?

Kyle Nelson2 said:If Russia is actually selling oil to India, how the hell are they even getting it there?
Is it via tankers? And if so, where are they even refueling?

Can you believe this question—where do the tankers refuel?

Here is an example of a Greek vessel traveling from Novorossiysk to Jamnagar, India.

And here is one Greek ship heading from Novorossiysk to Trieste.

Then we have a Liberian-flagged ship moving from India toward Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea.

The enthusiasts claimed we could isolate Russia from the West, and honestly, looks like that’s actually happening—directionally, it's the right move.

As long as Samsung is still operating there, isn't that really all that matters?...

News headline: India's Russian Crude Oil Imports Set To Surge Strongly In August Second Week: Vortex

surge

A sudden, powerful forward or upward movement, much like the momentum of a surging crowd or the relentless pull of the tide.

Nancy Gomez26 said:That works out perfectly for the rest of us—as long as I can still pick up oil at a massive discount from the Russians. Because once they start buying Russian crude at fire-sale prices, they aren't exactly going to go looking for it elsewhere.

I couldn't agree more.

It really is a positive development for everyone, isn't it? Less money flowing toward Russia and even less into the pockets of those oligarchs; eventually, the prices for those massive hundred-meter superyachts might finally drop enough that a regular person like me could actually stand a chance...

Nathan Thomas12 said:Those Kremlin puppets were out here predicting oil would hit $200 a barrel. So, how do you explain the price tanking instead?

It wasn't really the Kremlin officials making those calls, but rather the optimists who truly believed we could actually isolate Russia from the global market...

But then you look at India and China, and they just don't seem to care one bit about your sanctions, do they?

Richard Wilson4 said:Don't tell me you're falling for those "ruble strength" fairy tales too.

A semi-feudal nation stuck in the middle of a war and heavy sanctions isn't doing exactly great, you know?

It isn't really about the strength of the currency so much as it is the sheer power of the oil industry...

If some people in the Baltics are turning their noses up at Russian oil, don't worry—there are plenty of others who aren't so picky, right?
