The start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine (Part 1) in War in Ukraine ·

Wait, isn't that near the Polish border? I thought everything was supposed to be chill and accessible over there.

The police are clearing out in Canada too.
People have been swarming the stores for flour and oil...

They even turned down a trip to a basketball game in Lithuania because they felt unsafe... (though honestly, they'd just lose 20-0 anyway, even if they had a full roster)

The biggest drawback, however, is simply that it's Russian.

So, look, even their own war hero Vaso Brkić is apparently fed up with the Republican Party.

So, I was reading this piece about Vaso Brkić and his take on that whole situation with the folk dance happening right in the heart of Washington, D.C. Honestly, it’s just typical. He’s out there talking about the Užice dance being performed in the middle of the capital, and you can just feel the frustration. It's like he's looking at the current state of things—you know, the whole Republican Party mess—and just shaking his head. He's making these really blunt points about how everything feels disconnected lately. It's a bit much, if you ask me. Just one thing after another with the way politics is playing out. You see these cultural events being used as a backdrop for political commentary, and it just feels messy. He isn't pulling any punches, though. He's just saying what's on his mind, even if it comes off as a bit scattered. That's just how it is sometimes.

Maybe our people should just start dancing the Užice Kolo if we actually want to get anything accomplished around here. Someone’s just playing for the global stage now. It's all about those personal international ambitions.... I mean, is he actually going to go and confront the Prime Minister face-to-face?😉)

Is it really all that much of an issue to him when the folk festivals were happening in Washington, D.C. back in 2021, yet somehow he found absolutely nothing wrong with being involved in the oil trade back in '93?

Amer can file a lawsuit for just about anything he wants in a US court...
(and honestly, it doesn't even necessarily have to be Amer himself.)

Think about how Jewish groups sue Swiss banks over gold from World War II...

Or how the US government ruled that North Korea must pay billions in reparations for spies captured back in the sixties...

In the end, I imagine this will all likely be settled within the American court system, don't you think?

Edward Cooper2 said:No, absolutely not. I doubt there's any real chance anyone pays up for damage caused by something that's already ancient history. But even the Republicans couldn't just ignore a lawsuit...

I'm under the impression that for private lawsuits, the statute of limitations actually begins the moment you discover who is truly responsible...

Honestly, why are you getting so worked up? Can't we just let the media circus and all those cameras fade into the background for once?

Revisiting the past and its impact on those who witnessed it🤔 ...

The man is clearly nothing more than an arsonist, and frankly, he has no business being out in the open

Who can even say where he was hiding when things were really heating up back in Los Angeles?

et voila - problem solved.

Quite the North Korean approach to public health, wouldn't you say?
You just say "bonjour" and suddenly you're acting all high and mighty, don't you?
People who find themselves out of work have a thirty-day window to head down to the office to grab their paperwork, get signed up for health insurance, and file their claims with the unemployment office... though if they're living out in the rural sticks, it can honestly feel like an absolute disaster
(not to mention how those looking for new roles might be limited to searching within their own tiny little towns of maybe 2,000 people)

Word is it all started down in Southern Italy...

Well, I suppose even living in an apartment, you probably have some kind of "Floki" hanging around somewhere, don't you?

They’ll probably end up sending people recovering from COVID out to treat the police officers instead.🤔
If my understanding serves me correctly, the local authorities here have decided to revive those old, sprawling municipal districts from the previous era, which means they’re essentially just moving the goalposts from one town to the next...

Had Gorbachev not intervened, wouldn't we still be looking at a unified America alongside two separate Germanies, though I wonder, what would those little local North American peasants have actually made of all that?

By that same logic, it’s a huge victory that the bishop can't even celebrate Mass on private land—land that was signed off by some diocesan administrator who isn't even the actual bishop 😁 I mean, seriously, imagine the absolute chaos in that diocese when all our other Catholic Church dioceses actually have bishops in charge, haha

I have just one quick question for you all

Could someone please clarify what exactly constitutes an initial diagnosis versus a discharge diagnosis, and what should one do if they happen to be different from one another?
