One leg is shorter than the other

I remember being told by a doctor back during my developmental years that using pads wasn't recommended because the body might "misinterpret" things and lead to uneven growth—which, looking back, feels like such a strange theory—but regardless, that's part of why I ended up with one shoulder sitting lower than the other too... though apparently, once you're fully through puberty, things are supposed to level out eventually.
First off, your legs aren't just going to magically level themselves out, and trying to fix it with an insert won't help much.
All you're doing is asking for scoliosis if you don't have it already—given how your shoulder blades are misaligned.
