Thanks for all the advice, everyone. Honestly, I’m at my wit's end with these constant colds. That bit about the inflamed membranes causing mucus to drip down the throat actually makes sense to me. I’ve been taking some Maximalist, so my nose isn't running anymore, but I can still feel that drainage hitting the back of my throat. Guess everything is still pretty swollen.
I'm going to try a steam inhalation tonight to see if I can clear out these sinuses a bit.
Also, I definitely need to pick up some zinc and echinacea.
Woke up this morning feeling totally wiped out from a cold. Spent about two hours just blowing my nose nonstop until I finally used some nasal spray to get things under control. But then, a few hours later, everything changed. Now it feels like my stomach and throat are just filled with this gross, thick mucus that won't come out the nose—it just drips straight down my throat and into my stomach instead (why does that even happen???) and it’s making me want to gag constantly. I just had a little shot of homemade bourbon 😲 to try and settle things, but that nasty feeling in my throat and stomach is still there and I'm still feeling super nauseous. Any advice on what I should do? 😕
I felt a little lump last summer, and turns out it was just a fibroadenoma. It was about 1.5 cm at the time, so the doctors told me to just leave it alone until I was pregnant (since they said it starts growing faster then). Well, it ended up doubling in size in less than a year, so they finally went ahead and removed it recently. The thing that’s actually bugging me is that apparently there's a pretty high chance of them coming back 😕
