hm, I honestly wish they’d just bring back the old qualifying format—you know, the one-hour sessions where you actually get to see who has the fastest car. If they keep changing things like this every couple of years, I guess Formula 1 might actually lose its soul entirely. It's getting hard to even recognize the sport anymore. 😢they've really gone overboard with how fast they're changing the rules lately—I mean, they actually got things right this year, so maybe they should just leave it alone for at least two more seasons.

urbanmoose3, don't the brakes just work on an on/off basis? Like, there’s no real way to modulate them—it's just point A to point B? I feel like I've heard that a few times before. %)
Personally, though, I'm really digging the idea from Mosley and Bernie about capping fuel at maybe 300 gallons per car for a race (that's the ballpark figure they were tossing around)—but leaving everything else up in the air 😁 so there wouldn't be any limits on cylinder count, displacement, or whatever other technical nonsense... just focusing on cutting down consumption. They're pulling about 75 gallons per 62 miles right now, right? That could actually be pretty cool 😁

If I could put together the ultimate dream lineup, it would look something like this:
Vocals: Chad Gray (Mudvayne)
Rhythm guitar: James Hetfield (Metallica)—or maybe someone like Slipknot’s No. 7—who could probably handle lead too, but let's stick with this 🙂
Lead guitar: John Petrucci (Dream Theater)
Bass: Robert Trujillo (Metallica)—or maybe that guy who plays with Steve Vai 🙂
Drums: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Joey Jordison (Slipknot), or Matt McDonough (Mudvayne)
I guess three different bands are doing most of the heavy lifting here, but man, this would be my perfect combo🙂
