Keith Gonzalez said:The smartest way to go about it is just to type whatever you're looking for into Google, hit space, and then add "site:reddit.com" (and don't bother with quotes there). If you actually want results that contain that exact phrase and nothing else, you can wrap the search term in quotation marks...

For instance,

magnesium chloride site:reddit.com

And you'll end up with this:

https://www.google.com/search?q=magne...w=1280&bih=624

I could really use a hand here,
I’ve been trying to use the search bar to track down a specific thread about magnesium chloride, but it feels like I’m stuck scrolling endlessly through pages and pages just to find what I need... I honestly don't have the patience for it, or maybe I'm just doing something wrong, so if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some tips on how to find exactly what I'm looking for without all this digging, I'd be so grateful...

Thanks so much; seriously, I just figured out how to actually post this... I won't bother sending any more private messages since it looks like there's some kind of limit on those (it says 100 messages here)
Thanks again for bearing with me... my brain feels a little foggy today, so things are taking me a bit longer than usual...
Best, 🤷

Going in for another round...I guess I’m just not quite the tech whiz I thought I was when it comes to navigating this thing, but hey, at least I'm persistent, and maybe that counts for something...
It feels like I'm just spinning my wheels again, and honestly, I didn't even see half of what I actually typed... especially that long string of numbers that keeps popping up now that I'm trying to edit the post
It’s such a bummer that I couldn't get this right, so I suppose I'll just sit tight and wait for someone to step in and show me the ropes.

Just giving this a shot... if it works, it works, and if it doesn't... well, it doesn't!

It didn't work, and honestly, I have absolutely no clue how to actually post the images I uploaded to http://imgur.us/
. This string of numbers is just some code I copied from my own page, but I haven't the slightest idea where to find the actual URL! Any help would be much appreciated...
