Man, there's just so much conflicting info out there...
I was wondering, if I have a referral for a vision test—you know, the kind you can do at an eye doctor or even just a local optical shop—can I actually use that same referral to see a specialist ophthalmologist at the New Hospital? Like, if my eyes are all red, inflamed, or just super irritated and need a real pro to look at them...
I hope that makes sense. I don't really know the medical jargon, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a big difference between a standard prescription check and a full clinical exam.
Also, another thing: if the referral specifically says "ophthalmology," how long is it actually valid for? I know for stuff like an EEG, they usually give you about 6 months...
Hey, so I just signed up on ImageShack to start posting my pics. I noticed some folks are using the .us version instead of .com, but honestly, I don't think it makes much of a difference... The thing is, I tried uploading a photo and it’s just not working. Anyone able to help a girl out?
It’s not even like it’s over the size limit, and I see other people posting massive files here, so I'm totally lost on what's going wrong. Also, just to make sure I've got this right—once I upload the image to the site, I just grab that link and paste it here on the forum, right?

I’ve tried uploading different image sizes a few times now and it keeps telling me they're too big, which basically means it's just being a pain in the ass... 🙄

so I'm messing around in Word... and I've got a quick question. I want to change the color, but not the actual page itself—I mean the background area. Hopefully, you guys get what I'm getting at. To give you an idea, I'm working in 'print layout' mode, so the page just sits there in the middle of the screen, leaving that ugly background color visible on the sides.
Basically, my page isn't stretched out to fill the whole monitor, so the whole screen isn't white. I'm not looking to change the page color or the font color. I already know how to do all that stuff.
Let me know if that makes sense.
Joshua Garcia3, when I'm hunting for subtitles, my first move is always checking if there's an American version available. If not, I just grab the Canadian or Mexican ones using the Latin alphabet...

So, I basically went on a scavenger hunt and downloaded like ten different subtitles from various sites just to test them out. Honestly? They’re all garbage. It feels like everyone is just resharing the exact same broken file over and over again.
The sync works fine for maybe two-thirds of the movie, and then—poof—it just vanishes. It totally falls out of whack, so there's nothing I can actually do with a Time Machine to fix it...
I'm talking about the 1989 movie 'The War of the Roses.' You know, the one starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.

hey, so here’s the deal... I grabbed this movie and the subtitles, but there's a bit of a glitch. the file isn't your typical 700mb size either; it's sitting at a solid 1.24gb. because of that, the subs just cut out about two-thirds of the way through and won't show up anymore. anyone know how to fix this? is there a way to patch it up... maybe?
