Susan Watson31 said:Alex Moore62, this comment is honestly pretty useless because anyone scrolling through these boards looking for actual data on rhinoplasty or real-world experiences isn't going to learn anything from you other than your own personal bias...
I’ve already laid it out, and every single time someone asks about my own journey, I’ll tell them the same thing, regardless of what you or the rest of the skeptics might think...
And it’s not quite the scenario you’re painting a few lines up there; those words praising Dr. Johnson and his entire surgical team are coming directly from us—his satisfied patients. Feel free to verify the authenticity of those responses however you see fit.

You have every right to weigh in on my comment and voice your opinion. Just as I voiced mine in my own post, wouldn't you agree? After all, why would I adopt someone else's perspective? It’s as simple as that.🙂
Long ago, I shared my surgical experiences here on the forum, purely for the benefit and information of everyone involved.
Interestingly enough, it’s fascinating to watch how all you "satisfied clients" always seem to conveniently forget—or perhaps just flat-out ignore—the experiences of those who weren't quite as happy with their results. I make sure to post those here as well.

Oh, really? Just expecting someone else to roll up their sleeves and do the heavy lifting for you? 👏
I certainly won't be the one stepping up. Back when I actually cared to know the details and needed the facts, I did the legwork myself. You can do the exact same thing if you actually find it interesting. 😉
George Ramos11 said:Alex Moore62... I honestly don't get why you find it so repulsive when someone acknowledges quality work or a solid approach. Look, if someone is scrolling through a forum—like I was just a few days ago—hunting for actual useful intel, they aren't going to light an extra $1,000 on fire by dealing with some low-rent amateur or a total hack. They’re going to head straight to whoever has proven themselves to be the best based on everything we've seen so far. And as for this idiot bringing up some basic InternetProtocole nonsense? He's just some kid who finally figured out how to navigate a virtual classroom and now thinks he's some kind of elite hacker. Total l.a.m.e.

Sure, praise isn't offensive, but let's be real—that wasn't actually a compliment, was it? 🙂
Fortunately, anyone digging through this thread will see the other side of the coin, which is frankly pretty terrifying.

By the way, if you're really as tough as you claim, try tracking the IP address; then you'll see exactly where these comments are originating from. Good luck with your little investigation.☕

George Ramos11 said:In essence, you could sum up the entire procedure as one seamless, pleasant experience that has honestly exceeded all my expectations so far. I’d describe Dr. Johnson as an incredibly professional and easy-to-be-around individual—much like his entire team—who radiates confidence and expertise at every turn, yet maintains a certain level of humility and, most importantly, a grounded perspective on life. To be perfectly honest, my own desires (and then some) were translated through his work without me having to provide a roadmap. It was interesting to find myself not pushing my own agenda, but rather listening intently to his expert guidance; this result is simply proof of who the true master of the craft is. In my view, he should be the absolute first choice when selecting a plastic surgeon. On top of all that, his pricing is easily the most reasonable out there.

I'm reading this and just shaking my head. 🤮
Johnson's counter-intelligence has lost all sense of proportion in its sheer jealousy. 🙂

My bad—I really didn't mean to clutter up the board.

It’s not you who’s cluttering things up, 🙂 more like the site itself is having a bit of an identity crisis. I keep getting hit with random errors where posts just won't send or pages refuse to load entirely. It feels like the whole system has been stumbling over its own feet lately.😢

Carol Wilson5 said:I’m not taking any pills at all. I don't deal with any of that stuff like shortness of breath or dizziness. The only thing is maybe my heart rate jumps up a bit faster when I'm out for a walk. My digestion is perfectly fine—regular every single morning, pretty much on schedule. And my cycles are totally normal too.
My sister, my mom, and my grandma all claimed they just started gaining weight out of nowhere without changing what they ate. But honestly? They just decided that was the reason and used it as an excuse to start overeating. I think my mom and grandma were about 5'1" and probably weighed around 200 lbs. Then there's my sister. Three years ago, she insisted she was too busy with work to eat anything more than a single sandwich a day, yet she kept putting on weight. And she actually shot up from maybe 125 lbs to 150 lbs in a really short window (which takes a lot of calories!). I used to think she was exaggerating and eating way more than she let on, but now I'm starting to believe her. She's sitting at about 140 lbs now, but she swears she can't get below that no matter what she tries. Plus, she'd rather die than actually go see a doctor.

The constant spamming on this forum lately is becoming genuinely exhausting...
Anyway, if you do a quick Google search on hypothyroidism hyperthyroidism, you'll find a massive, disjointed list of symptoms. The danger is that you eventually just get used to feeling off, convincing yourself that you're just burnt out, while your actual quality of life steadily erodes. 😢
For me, personally, the brain fog was the worst part; I was forgetting everything, which was a total nightmare, especially when I was at work.
But once you read through all the data, you realize you're dealing with a handful of seemingly unrelated issues that all share the thyroid as a common denominator, and doctors will fight tooth and nail to avoid looking into it. 🙄
You end up bloating so much it feels like you're gaining weight from nothing but water and air because your metabolism has slowed to a crawl.
Your sister really needs to see a physician because if this is a thyroid issue, leaving it untreated is not an option. If she needs hormone replacement therapy, she'll be on it every single day for the rest of her life. It becomes particularly critical if she’s planning to get pregnant; she absolutely cannot go through that without getting her thyroid checked first.

I was actually thinking the exact same thing.
To be honest, I suddenly found myself gaining weight at an absolutely frantic pace—just ballooning up almost every single day. At the time, my job kept me so busy that I barely had any chance to sit down for a meal, so there was no way this was coming from overeating. For most of my life, I’ve maintained a pretty steady weight, usually hovering around 110–115 lbs at 5'4", and I could eat whatever I wanted without a second thought.
Once the scale started acting erratic, the only logical conclusion in my mind was a thyroid issue, so I went to get my hormone levels checked. As it turned out, it was hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's), which I've been managing for two years now—a period during which I ended up packing on about 35 pounds.😱
At first, they wouldn't even put me on medication; then, they gave me a dose only to cut it in half just as I was finally starting to feel better and thought the swelling might subside, which only triggered a downward spiral and some dangerous weight gain.
Eventually, I sought a second opinion from another doctor who finally stabilized my dosage, which gradually halted the weight gain. But now, I'm stuck with an extra 35 pounds on my frame and I have absolutely no clue how to shed it.😠 🙂

The weight gain happened so rapidly on a near-daily basis that I was literally outgrowing my clothes right before my eyes.😲

If you're asking for my advice, you should head to a clinic immediately to get your T3, T4, and TSH checked; if those results come back looking suspicious, then you'll need to go deeper with FT4, antibodies, and the rest of the panel.
