Hangover cures? in Health ·
Since there isn't a specific thread for my issue, I’m dropping this here because it’s tied to health and the people on this forum actually seem to take things seriously.
Here’s the deal: we all go out, and to make the night more interesting or to keep enough energy to dance until sunrise, most of us lean on alcohol, tobacco, energy drinks, or even certain stimulants.
My problem isn't the night itself—it's the next day. Regardless of whether I had booze or just slammed an energy drink, the following day I feel like a crushed rag. I'm useless, my brain is completely fogged up, and I spend the entire day stuck in the bathroom. It's a total hangover.
I tried going out while sticking strictly to juice, but after just two hours of dancing, I’m yawning, my legs feel like lead, I start sweating, and I just want to crash at home.
So, here is my question: how do you power through the whole night without relying on that stuff? Do I need to sleep all day beforehand, chug Gatorade, or is there some secret formula? Or is it all just in my head?
Thanks

I thought there was some kind of regatta going on, so I couldn't make sense of it. I did see that crew out on the water, though.

What exactly were they sailing? I was right there and didn't see a thing.
Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
New research just dropped on how much different drugs actually wreck your mind and body. As you can see, alcohol ranks dead last at number five.

That price tag is exactly what I expected—this thing is an absolute beast. When you compare it to the cost of other boats like a Laser, a Europe, or a 470, you’re basically getting a hydrofoil for just a little bit more cash. Honestly, though, I bet the price will drop eventually. I’d love to take it out for a spin, but I doubt it’s built to handle heavy swells.
I honestly think it would be cheaper to just build one yourself. I’ve been looking over the blueprints; the design itself isn't the issue, it’s just those damn systems. They're a bit complicated, and I don't quite wrap my head around how they function. I'm not sure if you guys saw it, but there's that "automatic" foil regulator on the main hydrofoil.

So, what's the actual damage on a Moth? I've seen the photos and videos, and honestly, the thing looks top-tier.
I’m convinced this is the future of sailing.
