Brenda Jones7 said:2. What happened with Mass? I turned my head for a split second and there he was, just trailing behind 😕 (and honestly, I actually thought he might pull something off today...)

His engine gave up on him.
Brenda Jones7 said:3. Why did Kimi drop down to 17th after his pit stop? (And why was Hamilton only 8th? 😬 )

Kimi got stuck in traffic, while Hamilton stayed out longer on track to jump ahead of the pack.

Is that supposed to be some kind of consolation prize? 🙂

Adrian Sutil actually pulled off a 6th place finish for Force India! 😁

So, is Lewis Hamilton actually taking aim at Sergio Perez after what went down at Indianapolis Motor Speedway? 😈

A comment from the BBC:

If Sergio Sutil manages to hang onto 8th place, Ferrari will be the only team left sitting there with zero points. 😈

Man, I am really hoping Fernando pulls this off today. 😢

I don't think we actually caught Fernando Alonso (finally) getting past Sebastien Buemi 😢 Or maybe my eyes are just failing me at this point 🙂

I don't know if I should even bother bringing this up again—it feels like shouting into a void sometimes—but does anyone else get that sense of total, creeping stagnation lately? It’s like we’re all living in some kind of surreal, looping fever dream where nothing actually changes, despite all the noise. You look at the news, you look at the markets, you look at the way things are grinding along in DC, and it’s just... repetitive. A cycle of chaos that leads right back to the same old mess. Is it just me, or is the whole concept of progress starting to feel like a bit of a joke? Everything feels a little too much like a fiction novel written by someone who lost their grip on reality. kaže:
Is it Colthard?😍😁

Nah, I think it was some guy named Ted Kravitz. But honestly? That's just a guess.

I'm just kidding, obviously.😉

And honestly, does anyone really think there's even enough time left on the clock to hit that number?🤷

So, I guess it’s Kimi's turn now. 😬

Well, if you really want to do it that way—fine, let's just take it through the pits then. 🙂

I mean, what is this—is this the fifth or sixth time already?🤷

Third 🙂

A bit of unintentional wordplay there: "The Brazilian will remain pointless."😂

Michael Lee4 said:I think Vettel was trying to dodge someone crawling along the track—maybe it was Jarno Trulli?—and he ended up cutting right in front of Sebastien Buemi, who just couldn't get out of the way in time.

Sebastian Vettel had to slow down to avoid overtaking Rubens Barrichello under safety car conditions, and Sebastien Buemi couldn't stop running into his rear tyre.

I have no comment.

Let someone else try explaining that to you...

I don't need anyone to explain anything to me.

YEAH, the conditions are pretty lousy. But honestly, what do you expect? They're racing at 50 mph—or something close to it—so just take it as it comes. At least it might actually be interesting compared to this other garbage we've been seeing. ☕

Roger Williams3 said:Did you catch what Button said just a minute ago about the visibility?

Well, obviously—they’re driving bumper-to-bumper under the SC right now. Once the race actually gets going, the field is going to spread out naturally. ☕

Are you actually enjoying this? Watching such a monotonous start? Or just sitting there watching all those fuel strategies go straight down the drain?
China Trip - Shanghai (April 19, 2009) in Formula 1 ·
I honestly think those Scuderia Ferrari rules are just plain stupid. It’s not like they’re forced to drive 186 miles/h just because it’s raining—they can still race. There isn't even enough rain out there to make the track undrivable. ☕

Sebastian Vettel only managed to get a single lap in during both Q2 and Q3, and man, he absolutely tore it up both times! Seriously, massive respect there. 🙏 🙏 🙏
