The visitors are missing at least 8 guys: Prukner, Jahic, Panikvar, Pavicevic, Brkic, Kovacs, Szalai and Hervas. They're basically rolling with just 11 or 12 players left on the bench!

tip1

Looks like things are about to get messy, I can see it now🙂Relying on an 11-man squad plus maybe one or two subs is a joke...

Chelsea FC could honestly knock Napoli out tonight with a 2-0 scoreline if the stars align, which happens more than you'd think in this game. The new manager actually seems to get what these guys are capable of—he isn't just blindly sticking to rigid tactics or playing names for the sake of it. Look, Napoli is a solid squad, but man, they are going to have a hell of a time on the pitch tonight.

Real Madrid should walk away with the win, but let’s be real: they’ll probably choke and concede a goal, just like they always do.

Joshua Garcia8 said:Why? Why even bother posting roles, wins, or potential payouts if you aren't going to actually show the damn tickets?

So come on, show us those $250 winning slips, otherwise you're straight up breaking the PDF rules.

Looking at this thread, I gotta say, after all the time I've spent here, I don't see any freaking sense in this subforum rule.

Why aren't people allowed to mention specific amounts? And if they do, why do they have to prove it with scans? We're all anonymous here—nobody's privacy is being violated.
Why isn't there any empathy for people struggling with gambling addiction? A lot of us—myself included—are pathologically hooked. Do you guys even realize what gamblers go through? The sheer anxiety, the nerves, the constant hope, the crushing disappointment, the rage... the mental agony and suffering it causes.
When we're broken, we just want to share a bit of that sadness, just like we share the joy when we hit big. If someone mentions numbers, what's so terrifying about that? Why do you admins have to mentally crush us? Isn't the stress from betting enough already?
Please, just be human for once. Be realistic and change these harmful rules that do nothing but frustrate us. This is a forum; everything should be allowed except for insults, hate speech, and actual trolling.

Insect bite or something else? in Health ·
It’s probably just some bug getting you—maybe a spider, a wasp, or even a scorpion.

When you get stung by a bee or a wasp,
you’re looking at inflammation. Now, a lethal
dose of venom for an adult
would come from a swarm of maybe 300 to 500
bees or wasps. But look, it can actually be deadly
if you take a single sting right on the
tongue or inside your mouth and throat,
like if you accidentally swallow a live
wasp or bee while you're eating or drinking.

The lining of your tongue and throat
is super sensitive to venom, so
massive swelling can kick in fast,
which basically shuts down your airway and
can cause someone to suffocate. In cases like that,
people need emergency medical help ASAP,
and they might even have to perform a tracheotomy
just to make sure they can breathe.

Thankfully, though, we’ve got effective meds these days
that can knock down that swelling
in a really short amount of time. If you use
calcium injections along with some sedatives,
that swelling should go down pretty quick.

For first aid, you’ve gotta be careful when
pulling out a stinger—use a sterile needle,
tweezers, or even some kind of forceps
(basically tweezers), which is what you'll
deal with if a bee gets you. You should wipe
the wound with rubbing alcohol or another
disinfectant, and usually, just rubbing some
anti-allergy cream (like Benadryl or something similar)
around the area works fine.

Then, throwing some ice or cold compresses on it
helps kill the pain, but if things start getting
really bad with an allergic reaction, you need
to head to the ER immediately. Also,
it’s smart to always check and wash your fruit
thoroughly before eating it, so you don't end up
swallowing a wasp hiding in your grapes, peaches,
or whatever else.
Elizabeth Hill48 said:So we’re looking at a woman in her 40s here. She was born with some kind of congenital heart valve issue, but honestly, that probably isn't even the main culprit right now. She's been coughing for two weeks straight, and then over the last couple of days, she spiked a fever—like, a nasty 103°F—and ended up in the hospital. Her white blood cell count is low, though she has an excess of iron😕. She keeps passing out. Just generally weak, pale, can barely pull herself out of bed. The doctors aren't giving us much to go on yet. She thinks they might have had to resuscitate her when she collapsed, but she's not entirely sure. Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks to everyone for the help.

Here I am, right back in the cycle—using the medical terminology, of course. Some people claim that hitting a big win is the real trigger that drags us back into the game.
But if you want my honest take, losing wasn't just a trigger for me; I was chasing losses for psychological reasons more than anything else. I actually had way better control over my gambling, whether it was at the blackjack table or hitting the sportsbooks, when I was winning. Back then, I knew how to hold my ground, wait for the right moment, or pick out games that actually made sense. But once I started losing? I’d go absolutely feral, betting on
total "garbage" matches I wouldn't even glance at otherwise—like some random Monday night soccer match in a tiny league halfway across the world or some obscure cup game in a country I couldn't even find on a map. I'll drop a link here that shows actual research on how losing causes much more immediate emotional damage than financial damage, and how that messes with a player's head.
Chasing – It's not just about the money: Clinical reflections

http://www.camh.net/egambling/archiv...ue10-rugle.pdf

I fell back into a relapse after being clean since June 6, 2006. I started feeling those withdrawal symptoms kicking in—mostly just this deep, internal restlessness and anxiety—so I told myself, "Hey, let's just make some quick cash, maybe that'll help me feel better." It’s hard for me to deal with total abstinence because it makes me feel like a complete invalid and an idiot. I still tell myself I have some level of self-control left and that I won't blow my last dime. I'll just play with an amount I can afford to lose, and then I'll pull back into sobriety again. What else am I supposed to do? Go insane from the urge to gamble?
Should I be popping sedatives and antidepressants all day long?
Do I really need to be running to psychiatrists and sitting in group therapy sessions?
I just can't do that. I'm going to try one more time, even though I know exactly how this ends; it’s just a matter of time. But at least now I understand the process. I know what gambling really is, and I'm not going to chase that money once it's gone. I'll settle down again for a while until
my brain starts demanding that adrenaline hit again.
I'm fully aware of the financial damage, but look—addicts get treated with methadone, which isn't exactly a "cure" either. In the same way, I just have to take my occasional "fix."

Peace,👍

I AM ADDICTION
I creep in through the cracks, subtle and quiet, making all these grand promises.
I tell you life's gonna be nothing but pure bliss and pleasure.
Like, better than anything you could ever dream up.
But what do I actually hand you? Pure guilt and total despair.
It’s way worse than any nightmare you’ve ever had.
I promise you strength. I promise you guts.
Instead, I leave you feeling completely powerless and hopeless.
And let me tell you, I’ll make sure you live in constant fear.
I promise you an escape hatch. A way out.
A way to dodge every single one of your problems.
But guess what? I just create massive, soul-crushing problems you couldn't even imagine.
I promise you a whole crowd of friends.
In reality? I leave you totally alone.
I promise you happiness.
All I deliver is deep, heavy sorrow.
And I am going to strip you of everything.
Your dignity, your family, your buddies, your kids, your house, your dreams, your soul, your entire damn life.
Because you can't find love, freedom, or happiness as long as I'm around.
So don't you dare underestimate me.
I am manipulative, sneaky, and devious.
I don't care who I target. It doesn't matter if you're rich or broke, young or old, Black, White, or any other color!
I've taken the lives of men, women, and children alike.
I don't have a conscience to speak of.
So, listen up—if you've crossed paths with me before...
Watch your back. Even if you think you've finally beaten me, even if you think things are finally getting back to normal, never forget that I will always
Be right there, lurking in the shadows just around the corner.
I've got all the patience in the world, and I'll laugh right in your face if I can trick you back into my hellish little world again.

Thanks, Sean Hernandez5!

Look, I get what you're saying, but I'm still seriously hesitant about going through with it.
My brain is already rewired—my whole personality has shifted—so I honestly don't believe they can actually make me a "better" version of myself.
Sure, maybe they could get me to stop gambling, but there’s a whole laundry list of other self-destructive habits I could just "swap" my gambling addiction for. And some of them might even be worse.

In my head, gambling works like this incredibly expensive anesthetic with a massive list of side effects, but hey, at least it keeps the other demons at bay for a while.

It’s not like I’m always going off the deep end, either. I have stretches where I go months without touching it, periods where I’m playing relatively moderate, and then those absolute nightmare phases where everything spirals out of control. I just bounce between these stages depending on how I'm feeling and how much willpower I have left in the tank.
But the real killer? It’s those obsessive-compulsive thoughts. They are absolutely exhausting.

Man, those first 100 years are the hardest. 🙂🙂 😲

Maybe I should just sit around and wait for this Drug blocker to finally show up in a few years, then everything will magically be fine, right?

Dopamine Enhances Learning and Helps People Win When Gambling

It's also a huge factor in pretty much every type of addiction
By: CNN Health

Apparently, people using a certain Drug blocker are way more likely to pick up short-term learning skills and actually come out on top when they're gambling, according to what's being reported over at newsscientist.com. Researchers at Harvard University ran a study that basically shows how these drugs can make learning faster and more efficient. Their findings were just dropped in Science Magazine.

Man, I just blew through $420 today. Thank God it was just some crappy app like "Mindbet," but still... that disgusting feeling of losing hits the same every single time. Just pure anger and disappointment. Then comes the depression, the guilt, and that urge to lash out at anyone and everyone. As if that wasn't enough already... It’s the exact same damn cycle I went through all year.
Honestly? I feel like quitting heroin would be easier than kicking this habit. If I win a grand or two, it doesn't even change my life, but if I lose it? It absolutely wrecks me.
Risk assessment? I remember this girl once told me, "If I had to bet $500 just to walk away with $1,000, I'd be way more terrified of losing my $500 than I'd be excited about winning the thousand." Smart girl, a student over in Sacramento County.
I catch myself wondering why I can't think like that. Is it because the rush of actually losing—that sheer uncertainty and the danger of what's coming next—is what actually gets me off?
Big money is clearly out of my reach, I get that. So why the hell am I so pathologically, irrationally obsessed with chasing it? Why do I need this fix so badly, over and over, even though I've played this exact same losing hand hundreds of times? Every time, it's back to square one, just with less cash and even less self-respect.
How long am I gonna keep digging my own grave? Until I dig it deep enough to fall right in, I guess.
There you go. Just lost a Mindbet bet and suddenly all my demons are out of the bottle.
Am I really destined to live like some kind of broken, mindless loser who only has enough cash for a single coffee or a cheap drink a day and nothing else? Because clearly, I can't handle being responsible for my own money.

But if I'm being real, I actually feel calmer without the cash. Though, it feels like being a contractor without any tools.
Alright, tomorrow is my last bet. If I blow it again, I'm going cold turkey for good.

Hey Tea,

I’ve been thinking about it too, honestly. I keep trying to fill the void with other stuff, you know? Trying to stay busy with different activities, but man... nothing hits quite like that rush. I just miss that hit of adrenaline to actually feel okay again...
The mind wants, but the flesh is weak...

God!

I don't know if there's already a thread for this, but I figure there's room for it here.
Look, I’ve been clean for almost three months now, but man, I am hitting a massive wall right now. I can tell because I ended up lurking in a gambling forum—not even betting money yet, just mentally placing bets—but I am way too close to a relapse. I can feel it coming.

For the last three months, I've been hanging out on some US-based recovery forums, but I ended up getting into a huge blowout fight with the mods and just walked away.

Maybe that's why being sober feels ten times harder right now.
I'm hoping some people out there, guys and girls alike, will jump in on this thread so we can actually help each other through these rough patches. I've done my homework on online gambling, too—I've got a bunch of manuals and books in PDF format, all in English, if anyone actually wants them.

It's easy to stop, but it's difficult to stay stopped.

peace 👍
