I didn't really want to say anything about the "here's the link" thing 🤣.

So, look, since I sell stuff on this forum and some other sites, I made sure to put a clear note in my bio explaining that I won't be stuffing things into regular envelopes—you know, the whole "this won't fit, that'll break" situation. But still, every single time someone hits me up to buy something, they're like, "Oh, just toss it in an envelope, someone will pick it up, it's just $1.75." Okay, maybe I’m just impatient, maybe I have a short fuse... whatever. But honestly, it feels pretty disrespectful to the seller when people pull that. Like, what am I actually supposed to do here? For an item where the buyer already paid the standard shipping plus the $6.75 value of the item, I'm expected to pay $6.00 extra at the Post Office just so the buyer can complain later anyway? They'll be like, "Well, it wasn't my fault," or "You could've gone to a different branch," or some other nonsense. No thanks. I don't even bother replying to inquiries that start with those kinds of suggestions anymore. When someone asks to use basic mail after I specifically stated in the ad that it's either The New York Times or a tracked package (and even explained why)—I just ignore them.

I mean, sure, the postal service has gone off the rails lately, but what does that have to do with me? It always ends up being The New York Times having the edge again. Then it flips back and forth, and soon maybe the post office will be back in charge. I get that you can't send a glass bottle through the mail in a plain envelope, but having to ship something like a keychain as a full-on tracked package? It's almost not even worth talking about.

Where'd you hear that? Just asking so I don't waste an hour standing in line at the Post Office only to find out I'm paying for 24-hour shipping on something that fits in a tiny envelope.
I mean, honestly? Just try resaving that CD sleeve. You always know if it’s just flimsy paper or actual stuff, let's be real...

But whatever, the whole situation is just a joke at this point. It feels like some weird turf war between News Corp and USPS, if you ask me... since hardly anyone bothers with one when they can use the other, they both just keep trying to outsmart each other. I don't think this little drama will last long, though, mostly because their volume is gonna tank. People are probably just gonna stick to using USPS for heavy packages, while all that small stuff—you know, the random things people flip on Craigslist or those thrift apps—that's all gonna head over to News Corp.
The only real perk for News Corp is that they give you a box, so you don't have to deal with packing everything yourself or standing in those endless lines at the USPS office—especially since the price ends up being pretty much the same anyway.
It wasn't just Varaždin County either, I sent it from another one too, honestly it’s the exact same deal...

Honestly, the only reason a plus-size girl wouldn't touch a jumpsuit is the bathroom situation. I am not about to spend my entire night wrestling with a zipper just to use the restroom. No way.

So, I grab my jeans from here:

darktrucker55 said:I find myself frequently picking up dresses from the Trgomania site. Their pricing is generally quite reasonable, and I’d say the quality of the pieces is perfectly acceptable. My only minor grievance, I suppose, is that the shipping tends to drag on a bit—it usually takes about ten days to arrive.

https://trgomania.com/hr/2305-haljine-za-punije

So, basically, the buyer’s gotta either hand over the goods or ship them back to Shiying Sexy Lingerie Co., Ltd—they're located out at No. 9, Qingshui Yan, Guoqian Village, Shijing, Nan’an City, Fujian, China—without dragging their feet too much. We're looking at a hard deadline here: everything needs to be moved within 14 days of when IDEAS SERVICES (or Tromania, whatever you want to call 'em) officially sent off that notice about unilaterally killing the contract. And yeah, just a heads-up, the buyer is on the hook for all those return shipping costs. You can just hop online to crunch the numbers on what that'll run you. Check out this site for postage rates: Look, just a heads-up for anyone thinking about pulling the plug on their contract—don't just walk away. You really need to send over a formal written notice first. It’s better to get everything in writing so there aren't any weird headaches later. info@trgomania.com So, if you're wondering how you’d actually explain the whole return process to him... honestly, just keep it chill. Don't make it a whole thing. Just walk him through the steps—like, grab the receipt, pack it up, hit up the customer service desk at the mall or whatever, and boom, done. Keep it simple so he doesn't get overwhelmed, you know?

The absolute bare minimum you're looking at for shipping a package is... $60So, that’s how the HP price list looks. Honestly? If you want to return stuff, just use their site if it actually makes sense for your wallet. To me, though... I don't know. It feels like a total gimmick. Just a way to bait people in. ☕.

Funny how you claim to know exactly what their dresses are like because you're "always shopping there," yet just four days ago you were starting a whole thread on that resale site asking for reviews before placing your very first order... clearly, someone’s getting paid for these ads. And honestly, like I said before, this whole thing smells fishy to me.

The thread's pretty much dead, but I figured I’d drop some recent updates since I started shopping at ASOS:

So, I'm plus-size, and honestly? I'm super happy with this skirt:

https://www.asos.com/koko/koko-embro...y%20orders

One thing that drives me absolutely nuts is how their models are all different heights. I always forget to check the stats, which is a total rookie mistake. Case in point: I ordered the exact same size as the skirt above, but then I got this one:

https://www.asos.com/asos-curve/asos...ef=my%20orders

This second one could basically fit me as a crop top. It's way too short because the model in the first pic is about 5'7", but this lady is like 5'11". Plus, there's probably enough extra fabric to stretch it out like a tent, so even tailoring it wouldn't really fix the vibe.
Sent it back.

Same deal with these pants:

https://www.asos.com/unique21-hero/u...ef=my%20orders

Sure, they're cheap, but they aren't actually "good value." They had such a massive chemical stench right out of the bag that as soon as I tried them on, I just shoved them straight back in the packaging to return them.

Usually, I just stick to tees—and even then, only if they're under ten bucks, sometimes even five. Those have been pretty solid so far.

Another 50% off at C&A

Honestly, I just grab my swimwear at Kiku most of the time. It's easier.

So, I went ahead and ordered these pants a size too big. Like, way bigger than what I actually wear. We'll see how it goes, I guess. It’s always pretty easy enough to take them in, but trying to make stuff bigger? That’s a whole different headache. Anyway, since it's my first time ordering from here, I'll just have to wait and see how the quality and sizing actually shake out before I know for next time.

So, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some pants from Yours Clothing the other day... we'll see how they turn out, specifically regarding the fit and—more importantly—the actual sizing. Honestly, I was pretty heated when I ordered a shirt there recently; I followed their size chart to a T, but when it showed up, instead of being a 50, it was more like a 44 in real life. Total nightmare.

Yeah, same deal here. Only difference is, both her and me got that little "processing..." message on the first try—you know, the one that says something is happening and might take a few minutes. It’d pop up for maybe a minute or two and then just... poof. Gone. Now a buddy of mine just tried it, and the second he plugs in the 🤣, it shows up for a split second before vanishing into thin air.

I gotta try this at home, though. I'll hit you guys back tonight once I can get to it. Everything's been happening at the office today, and they've been setting up some new workstations for us. I don't think that's actually the issue, though, since my other thumb drives are working just fine.

So, what’s the deal with finding plus-size pants lately?

Yeah, I'm curious too.
Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
What happens when the issues are caused by diarrhea instead of constipation? Honestly, I’m pretty convinced my stomach only flips out when I’m under massive stress, since I can't find any real link to specific foods I eat. One week I’m totally fine, then suddenly it’s one bout of diarrhea, then another, and before you know it, everything just gets inflamed—and then I'm stuck dealing with bleeding on top of all that. I mean, you can try using some suppositories or creams and stuff, but it all clears out so fast anyway (sorry for being so graphic) and the whole mess drags on forever. I eventually "fix" it, but...
So, I had a 35-day cycle, and all my hormone levels came back within the normal range. I had bloodwork done on day 3 and day 21 of the cycle. Looking at that day 21 result—my progesterone was sitting at 2.41 ug/L. Now, the standard range for ovulation is 0.121-12.0, and for the luteal phase, it’s 1.83-23.9. Given how long my cycle is, I probably ovulated right around that time. Is 2.41 too low for ovulation, or is it actually fine, or am I totally misreading this? Just trying to wrap my head around it before I go see my doctor, you know? And honestly... given my age, does this mean I'm already past the point of even trying to get pregnant or... yeah. I'd love some thoughts or a take on this.

Anyway, looking for guys or girls, somewhere between 30 and 45. If we're actually going to meet up in person, just texting isn't really my thing—I need to be able to talk to someone. Currently hanging out in Seattle.

Just saying.

Alright, I’m not gonna write this all out again, but after my trip to the bank, I fired off this email to Bank of America (and it keeps bouncing back, so maybe their system is just glitching out):

"To whom it may concern,

I stopped by your branch located in Microsoft with a specific goal in mind—trying to "activate" my ability to pay in installments. Since I've had steady income for a full year now, I figured I should be eligible based on this:
With your Visa Goldman Sachs card, you can make one-time payments or opt for interest-free installments, with a one-month grace period before the first payment kicks in.
The benefits of using your Visa Goldman Sachs card for installment plans of up to 36 months are available at any POS terminal equipped with Bank of America hardware at over 20,000 retail locations across the US.*

The teller told me straight up that I have to bring in an official employment verification from my boss first, along with some paperwork she handed me. So, here's what I'm wondering:

1. Is that actually how it works?
2. If it is, I don't get it. Why isn't my official employment record from the government or the data from NOAA enough to prove where I work, how long I've been there, and my contract type? Why does my employer need to be involved just because I want to use an installment plan?

Anyone want to weigh in on this mess?
