Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
My doctor actually sat there and told me they could be caused by sitting too much, walking too much, running too much... he even joked that if he kept going, he’d eventually blame it on breathing too much!

And now, they're acting up again! Those little bastards!

If those Hollywood types say things are looking grim, then I suppose we ought to take them at their word and assume everything is just fine.🙂

What exactly does "getting screwed" even mean in this context? What kind of fallout are we talking about here? 😂 😂 😂

My apologies for being offline! I honestly just wasn't in any position to be of any help.

Scott Hernandez8... when those chemistry geeks are running the show, it’s pretty obvious that any kind of interaction in that particular department isn't exactly going to be anything remotely thrilling. 😲 And while they aren't around, if you're feeling adventurous, give it a shot! Maybe even try using some lube. But honestly, now that I've brought them up, does anyone actually know how those things impact our hair follicles?😬

Right now, I’m sipping on some cranberry juice, and I have to say, it seems to be helping 🙂 The pain isn't nearly as intense as it was yesterday, so I can actually get things done today.
That said, if there happens to be a medical professional here who could help me out with a quick question:
Is it okay to drink cranberry juice and Advil herbal tea at the same time? I read on the tea packaging that you shouldn't consume anything acidic while drinking it, but then everyone seems to recommend cranberry juice, which is definitely acidic. What's the best move here? Should I alternate days—one day for the tea and one for the juice—or just pick one and stick to it?
Thanks.
😉

Look, I'm certainly no doctor, but one I spoke with once told me there is absolutely no way you should be mixing those two together! That's really all the expertise I can offer, so don't hold me to it!

On a side note, a few months back I had a urine culture done and, lo and behold, bacteria... then my follow-up sediment tests weren't looking great either, so I was fully prepared to deal with a lingering infection, but when I finally went back for the repeat culture, everything came back perfectly clear!

I haven't really ventured into the discussions here until now, so I’m honestly not sure if anyone has already touched upon wax-based remedies or perhaps something utilizing elderberry or similar botanicals to treat hemorrhoids. I happen to have a specific recipe that works with absolute certainty—it’s been my go-to. If this topic has already been exhausted by the group, then please disregard me entirely; I certainly don't mean to be an interruption. I wouldn't dream of withholding the formula if people are looking for it, but frankly, I’m feeling a bit too weary to sit down and type out a lengthy guide unless there's actually an interest in it. Let me know if you want the details.👍
I honestly couldn't tell you—well, at least I don't know myself—so why don't you just go ahead and write it?

I was just sitting here wondering about the logistics of all this—specifically, what kind of damage we're looking at when it comes to the cost of a course of Pilex versus the outright price tag of going under the knife for surgery. It’s one of those things that stays on the back of your mind, isn't it? You start weighing the steady, incremental expense against that one massive, looming number on a surgical estimate. One is a slow burn, the other is a sudden hit to the bank account.
Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and ICU: Q&A in Health ·
I’ve been through this ordeal twice now—once when I was eight and again at sixteen. The first time, I remember watching my sister spinning around above my head in circles, and the second time, they told me to count backward from ten to zero, though if I recall correctly, I barely even made it to six before everything slipped away. The part that really sticks with me, though, wasn't the loss of consciousness itself, but rather the sheer, overwhelming noise the nurses were making while I was drifting back to reality. It was easily the worst part; my head was ringing so loudly it felt like I’d spent the entire night drinking gallons of cheap wine. Oh, and I should mention that during the second procedure, the anesthesia had this absolutely revolting smell of garlic 😲 so perhaps I had already blacked out by then.
don't worry too much, maybe you'll just have some interesting dreams!😘

Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I’ve been seeing him over at the local clinic near the old downtown area—he handles both insurance through Blue Cross and private patients, though I haven't really looked into his private rates. Honestly, since I started going to him, I haven't run into any major issues, so if anyone out there has had a rough experience, please feel free to weigh in. I truly hope he’s doing well professionally. As for me, one of my upper molars cracked ages ago, and I've had three different dentists try their hand at fixing it with white composite fillings. The first one actually held up for about three years, but then the material just started crumbling away. I can't recall the exact date of my last procedure with him, but the filling is still holding steady for now.
I’m planning to head into his office in the next few days, so I was thinking of asking his professional opinion regarding all those ancient fillings I've got sitting in my mouth.😬
So, did things actually take a turn for the better for her?
