The fact that you hold nothing but physical metals and can't sleep unless you do just means you hold nothing but physical metals and can't sleep. That's fine. But it doesn't make anyone else crazy just because they don't follow your lead—especially since your big idea is that a 50% drop isn't actually a drop, it's just an "unnatural event," and whatever you say is going to happen is the only thing that counts as "natural." 🙂

I get what you're saying about trading; I actually called for an exit from precious metals right at the start of the correction (not digging through old posts to prove it). Still, I have to take issue with your comment about gold being in a bear market. It felt clumsy, to say the least, and it could lead people astray given we're in the middle of the biggest bull market ever. I doubt any of us have seen anything like this, and we might never see it again.

I can see why those guys are giving you grief now, considering how condescending you've been lately—from that "just keep playing" attitude in the quote to everything else. I don't know why you feel the need to communicate like that (I haven't seen that kind of vibe anywhere except maybe in some weird corner of the US). I sort of get it if you're trying to counter the SEC-style😁 approach of certain forum members whose "buy and hold" strategy works great in a bull market this massive, but will cause huge problems when they actually need to exit at the peak. There's a difference between patiently trying to teach the crew that every bull market ends in a parabolic move, and just acting arrogant. Arrogance is a death sentence for a trader. We need humility, period.

Like I said... if we hit a correction, that's a bear market to me. I don't care if the market has been up for years. I'll admit, some people might have taken it the wrong way.

And as for the arrogance? I disagree. I always talk to people like that when they can only see a straight line moving up, so...
The situation with that guy is a whole different story... 😁

@quiettrucker12
@indijanac

Once again, you guys are dragging me into this mess.
Let me tell you something...
Gold started dropping back in September 2011, and by November, it was obvious a correction was coming—which, for me, meant a full-on downtrend, so that's how I played it. It lasted until about June. Silver? Same exact story, just even more aggressive. If you didn't see that coming, you shouldn't be trading at all.
I'm not one of those "value investors" who couldn't care less where gold or silver ends up in a month, a year, or two. I’m smart enough not to waste my time with those kinds of forecasts, and anyone actually trading knows they're useless. Leave that stuff to the "analysts" and the other self-proclaimed experts.
Inflation, deflation... honestly, I don't care. It's not that I don't get the consequences certain moves have on the economy, but like I said, it doesn't matter when you're trading. The market can stay irrational way longer than you can stay solvent.
It’s simple, yet so many people here insist on acting like idiots. If you think I wasn't playing long on gold and silver yesterday, you're dead wrong—but it doesn't even matter, because you lot are just here making predictions. There's nothing wrong with predicting, but predictions don't put money in your pocket. What matters is whether you bought or sold at the right moment or not. Everything else is just noise.

LOL..

As far as actual knowledge goes, you’re still nowhere near my level. I get it, though—it’s tough when you didn't have the luxury of a decent education or a degree...🙂 but don't sweat it, kid... this kind of stuff just isn't your calling...😁

And about gold? The trend for this year is heading south. You're out here popping champagne over a tiny percentage gain right before the next massive crash. Personally, I’m leaning way more toward shorting than going long until things actually shift. But hey, you’re such a "pro" trader, just keep making those little price predictions while the ship sinks...😛
Regarding getting washed... just let me know, I'll give you another scrubbing... won't be the first time, and seeing as how this is just another typical internet forum, it definitely won't be the last...☕

Give me a break, kid. Some of us actually have lives and other stuff going on, so we can't be glued to this forum 24/7. And that whole "as soon as the price drops you can't get a word in" bit... seriously? You're tripping... tell me exactly how many times I've jumped in when prices take a dive.
Just keep spinning your little fairy tales... I don't need your "explanations," especially after watching you get absolutely shredded on other forums more times than I can count.
You're exhausting with these outbursts, but whatever... go ahead, keep playing your little games.

I mean, who else could possibly match this music when you consider everything Christopher Reeve brought to the role? 👍 (This might sound extreme, but this is hands down my absolute favorite score from any superhero movie ever, seriously...) 😁:

And it's not just about Superman—Reeve was, is, and always will be an icon for pretty much every superhero out there.

P.S: Superman was my first hero and remains my all-time favorite to this day. I'll go through the whole list if someone tries to tell me that new Man of Steel (2013) guy is better, though without this music, half the movie is already lost to me (not that I even need to mention Reeve's impact)... anyway, we'll see. I'm waiting for it like a man dying of thirst. Someone actually has to make a great Superman after the Reeve era, and God willing, let this next one be the one... 🙂

🙏 👍

Ha! Honestly, I don't even care about all that noise. I just look at the charts, and all I see is one long, ugly downward slide.

But seriously... when is silver finally hitting $50?😂 We’re staring down the end of the year here...☕

Let people laugh if they want to. They can laugh all they want. But with yields moving like this? Those "golden youth" crowd can kiss any significant long-term rally goodbye.
And as for those scandals... it’s neither the first nor the last one we'll see.
Regarding QE... I'm convinced we aren't seeing any of that this year. Not just because of the election, but because the previous rounds didn't even help employment. Honestly, you could argue unemployment actually went up. Nobody wants to deal with that during an election year.
Anyway, everyone can do whatever they feel like.
I'm still waiting on that $50 silver call from you later this year...😍☕
The only little issue is that I'm not just sitting on a position waiting around... I'm doing things a bit differently. I trade. Most of the group avoids it, but that's just how it has to be... we're not all cut from the same cloth.

The data is a little dated, but who cares...
As for everything else... we can talk about "fundamentals" until we're blue in the face, but let's get real. Over the last few months, the downward pressure has just been getting heavier and heavier. We're staring down the end of the year, and everyone needs to make sure they've done their homework. All this talk about gold being "undervalued"? It's still just talk. Sure, you can argue that the growth over the last 7 or 8 years has been impressive—I'll give you that—but we all know the truth. Maybe 1% of people caught the early wave, and maybe only 1% actually held on through the whole ride. A massive chunk of people were busy buying right at the absolute peak. You guys can keep holding your gold like "serious investors"... but us dirty speculators? We're moving on to trading.

Treasury yields are cratering. Demand is totally outstripping supply, which just proves once again that the dollar is still seen as the ultimate safety net compared to everything else (not even calling it a 'safe haven' at this point).
Futures are climbing too, and as long as that trend holds, gold is stuck under a bear boot. It’s been hovering in this tight little range for ages, but...

To requires being right at the "source" or actually being the one making it up 😁, and I seriously doubt anyone like that even posts on this forum.

That’s why using words like "probably" or "allegedly" is the only way to go.
