If by "that decision" you mean the one about not being allowed to leave your home, that March 23rd order doesn't even have an expiration date set, so there’s nothing to "renew," right?
The work bans started on March 19th and last for 30 days, along with some of those later calls.

What Capak said about needing a few days of declining infection numbers... I mean, sure, that works if you actually have a curve or a line to look at. But we don't have a curve, and we don't have a line—we just have this freaking drunken EKG. Honestly, we have way too few official cases to draw any real conclusions because this sequence here: 77, 77, 96, 48, 68, 47, 56, 40, 60, 61, 64, 88, 39, 66, 50? It literally means absolutely nothing.
Look, I know I’m basically reposting what I wrote a couple of days ago, but seriously, we are flying blind here. There is zero strategy, and if you listen to those press conferences, you can't even tell what the actual goal is supposed to be.
If the whole point is reaching some kind of herd immunity, then this entire approach is a total bust because there is no way we're ever getting there with these numbers. Instead, the move should be keeping cases at the absolute max that the healthcare system can actually handle without collapsing. Right now, it feels like the goal is to drive infection numbers down to zero, which is just impossible no matter what restrictions they slap on us—just look at what happened over in Mexico. So, my question is: what happens in a month or two? The task force really needs to step up and tell us exactly what the game plan is.
It’s totally possible the system just runs those status checks—you know, the whole self-isolation thing—during some kind of overnight batch processing. Based on what the high-ups at the CDC have been saying, it looks like they're just doing the verification after the fact. And yeah, an employer can't just hand out a pass to someone else; the software literally won't let them.

Yeah, but also no, because this whole thing is brand new as of today per instructions from the Civil Protection Headquarters. So basically, you can now grab an e-Passport to handle tilling soil or doing other farming work.
In my opinion, they really could’ve avoided this move once they made the decision*. Tomorrow is already Wednesday, so we gotta wait and see when they actually start rolling out these digital passes, and by next Thursday, the window for tilling is basically closed. Honestly, I’d rather they just left things as they were until after Easter, and then just started lifting bans across the board. This way, they’re just stacking exceptions on top of exceptions and creating a massive mess.
*Farmers should have been carved out of this decision immediately—that means tilling land AND selling at farmers' markets. They could've, and honestly should've, restructured the markets instead of letting people's entire harvests go to waste.

If nothing else, this ruling really shines a light on how most of our folks don't even have their official residency or mailing addresses sorted out 😬. They might as well stop wasting money on those highway cameras and try making some cash off that instead.😬

Things look much better than they did just a few days ago, back when certain Facebook groups, like the ones over in a city like San Francisco, were trying to hawk eggs at slightly inflated prices of $0.67.
But all those delivery services make zero sense. What am I supposed to do, order two heads of lettuce, a pound of carrots, and some mixed greens for soup for home delivery? How much am I gonna end up paying for that? Farmers' markets just don't have any alternatives for local produce, no matter how much of a digital advocate I am.
Wait, hold on a second... do you honestly think the Chief is personally hand-delivering those passes or something? Like, why on earth would you think they'd be targeted just because you didn't vote for the current administration? I mean, look, at CZ, it's not like everyone there is just a political appointee—it’s not even a job people are lining up for. It’s more like a necessary evil, honestly. It can't be easy for them, spending all day making decisions that some big shot at the top handed down without giving a single thought to how the actual American administrative system works, and then having to deal with everyone breathing down their necks every single morning about who they're being "loyal" to.
Go over to the Geoportal, then use the little wheel to zoom in until you see "scale 1:100,000" down in the bottom left corner. Once you've got that, just click that red icon with the white layers up in the top left and toggle everything off except for the "Register of Spatial Units - Cities and Municipalities" section... Enjoy! 😍 🤦
What if we end up stuck without half our Police Department for like 10-15 days because everyone caught a cold or pneumonia just from standing around in freezing temps while the snow falls?
darkotter35 said:Mike Johnson just dropped this: ‘Marc Silvan is out as Deputy Speaker of the US Congress, and George W. Bush is stepping in instead.’ At the exact same time, John Kerry is vacating his seat as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Classic Joe Biden!!!! Just stripping everyone of their power!!!🙏
If they can just get rid of that sensitive type Lloyd Austin, then that whole "powerful right wing of the Republican Party" 🤣 will be completely dismantled....
Look, the "conservative wing" of the entire Congress is basically non-existent if the Cabinet keeps holding onto a 76+ vote supermajority for everything (especially stuff that isn't even related to these crazy COVID regulations)
Honestly, the only thing that really threw me for a loop during this whole election cycle was how poorly Milijan Brkić did... I mean, I was seriously expecting him to pull way more votes than that. That whole crew—Kovac, Penava, and the rest—they honestly might have had a better shot at winning over users like math_baby, if anyone even remembers her, compared to those two 🤦. If Škoro had just joined the Republican Party and run as their guy (just playing it safe and easy), he probably would've stood a much better chance, but I guess he wasn't willing to take that kind of risk.
Wait, did I seriously just mishear Milijan Brkić? Is he actually claiming he’s the first person in history to be both the head of the Republican Party AND the President of the United States?! Like, am I tripping or did that really happen?
This is just insane. It doesn't matter if they have 20k, 50k, 100k, or 200k members... somehow this totally irrelevant guy Kovač always manages to run for office. He’s basically known for that one term where he wouldn't shut up, and honestly, he carries himself like he's ready to throw hands with both a guardian angel and Plenković at the same time 🤦
restlesscanyon52 said:Man, Plenković’s been sniffing and coughing like crazy for three days straight now—totally nasal sounding, too. Just an observation, I guess... nothing much to it. ☕
Zoki's tactic 🤣 It's pretty much impossible not to be sniffing and hacking lately, whether you've got COVID or not. I mean, it was 70 degrees yesterday and it's gonna be freezing tomorrow 😁
They really shouldn't be shutting down Temu; honestly, it’s such a bad move, especially when they just lock everything down at some "random" time. I mean, looking at this thread—which isn't even that big of a deal compared to those massive political debates on Reddit—there are just a few trolls running around because they clearly have nothing better to do than stir up trouble with stupid comments. But seriously, punishing the entire community by nuking a whole thread just because of them? It makes zero sense.
Both of you guys have illegal structures on your property already, so now you want to slap on an extra floor and ask if we can pull the plug on the construction? Just don't start a damn brawl over there—we don't need J. Edgar Hoover having to step in to break it up, everything else is survivable.
The only stuff that can actually get legalized is whatever was built before the summer of 2011.
Hey, so does anyone know where the hell the option went to show more than the standard number of posts per page? I can't find it in my settings anymore, and I noticed this morning that all the threads I'm following have way more pages than they used to. It was so much easier to browse before... honestly, I hate having to click through a million different pages just to see what's going on 😢
Honestly, just go hunt down some Flash games online—there’s a massive amount out there and they're actually pretty fun. They should run just fine. Or, look for something older, maybe from like ten years ago? That ought to work okay too. I mean, if we managed to survive back in the day with crappy graphics, we can definitely handle some new-gen 2D stuff 🙂.
Look, if you don't believe me, just check out this review. Pay extra attention to what they say under the graphic card and gaming sections: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-....115932.0.html Everything looks solid and everything works perfectly fine 👍.
Look, I wasn't trashing the choice or saying it was "trash," even if my last post made it sound that way. Honestly? This thing is a killer little machine for office work or just browsing the web, especially since that Bay-Trail processor is super efficient and stays ice cold. If you swapped out the hard drive for an SSD, you’d basically have this silent, whisper-quiet little beast 🙂. And man, don't ask me why some genius over at Acer thought this thing needed 8GB of RAM—that's the one part of the spec sheet that's just totally missed the mark. The real issue here is that you're trying to use it for the exact opposite of what it was actually built for. Like, who's gonna drop $800, $1,200, or even $1,500, $4000 on a laptop when they could just do all their basic stuff on this for maybe $300? At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what kind of rig I'm running or what I paid for it.
So, did you actually get it downloaded and installed yet?
🤣 Whatever you say, man. I guess you're the expert here, thinking a laptop meant for $833 with a processor basically designed for cheap netbooks and tablets should just be able to handle 3D games without breaking a sweat.
Wait, which version are you running, Windows 8 or 8.1?
Try grabbing this and see if the install actually goes through: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...C=ACER&SC=PA_6
Honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath... we've got zero luck here. This thing is basically just a basic laptop meant for checking emails and browsing the web.
