I was wondering if anyone here has tried ordering those vaginal suppositories from Cedrus for Candida? What’s the consensus on them? Also, any idea what they go for?
No need to be quite so harsh 😘 I’m well aware of how bacteria, viruses, and fungi work 😎 I’ve been struggling with this for so long that I feel like an expert on candidiasis... I know all the ins and outs, the causes, the symptoms, everything
Basically, ever since I started taking iron, vitamins, Lactogyn, folic acid, and using tea tree vaginal suppositories + applying Canesten externally morning and night + wearing loose, comfy clothes + sticking to a balanced diet high in iron and vitamins (mostly just greens) 🤣 , things have changed
.
🙂 I think the main culprits for me were a weak immune system, long courses of antibiotics, stress, junk food... sweets... but I feel like I'm finally on the right track to beating this... hopefully for good
I've been using the vaginal suppositories for five days now—once in the morning and once at night—and I think I'm finally seeing some improvement. That cottage cheese-like discharge seems to be clearing up.
My full course lasts 15 days (30 suppositories total). After I finish those, I was thinking about using a tampon soaked in acidophilus and garlic. Does anyone have any advice on what to do once this round of treatment is over?
Thanks in advance.
Who’s most vulnerable?
It seems like thrush tends to flare up around the time of a period, probably because shifts in vaginal pH levels create the right environment for it. You might also see it more frequently in women who are pregnant, dealing with unmanaged diabetes, or using birth control pills. I guess it’s also pretty common after a course of antibiotics; since those drugs wipe out the good bacteria—like lactobacilli—it leaves the door wide open for yeast to take over.
For some women, these infections just keep coming back. Sometimes that’s actually tied to low iron levels. White blood cells need iron to produce the stuff that fights off yeast. If you feel like you're stuck in a cycle of recurring infections, it might be worth asking your doctor for a blood test to check your ferritin levels.
That boric acid ointment is basically used for rinsing the vaginal area when dealing with chronic vaginitis... I tried using it myself, but I didn't really see any improvement. I guess the same treatment doesn't work for everyone.
You can find more info on experiences with yeast infections here:
I'm praying to God that these vaginal suppositories actually help, because I'm honestly at my wit's end...
Right now, I've been taking Lactogyn every single day for about two months 🙂. I'm also taking iron and vitamins daily. A doctor from Virogena suggested there might be a link between low iron levels—like iron-deficiency anemia—and stubborn yeast infections. It seems like quite a few women who struggled with Candida for a long time had poor blood counts, and they only found relief once they boosted their immunity. It makes sense, I suppose, since Candida tends to strike when your immune system is down.😈
I'm trying to build up my reserves now, since my lab results were actually pretty low.😢
Could you let us know where specifically in Canada? Like, can I pick this up at any pharmacy throughout Canada, or is it limited? And if you could, please let me know the price.
I’m not really sure why they didn't reach you, I'm sorry to hear that.
I actually spoke with the lady, and she managed to ship a package directly to my house without any issues. 🙂
I've been using them for a few days now, and I have to say, the discharge has gone down significantly—it's almost gone...🙂 I guess those wipes probably need to be used for about twenty days or so to fully clear out the yeast infection.☕
fadedbear8 said:Wait, where did you actually find those? I saw them at CVS a few years back, but then they just disappeared from the shelves completely. Did you spot them somewhere else lately?
I haven't personally tried them—but honestly, they seem pretty mild. If you've already gone through stronger stuff without luck, I doubt these will cut it for a stubborn yeast infection.
Check out .
That's how I ordered mine.
I was hoping some women here could share their experiences using these vaginal suppositories.
I’ve been dealing with a constant yeast infection battle for a year now, and honestly, I feel like I’ve tried everything under the sun. This might be my last resort... I’ve been taking Lactogyn and using Vaseline for about a month, but so far, nothing seems to work. It’s incredibly frustrating, to say the least.🙂
What does it actually mean when they say the endometrium is slightly partitioned? Is that something I should be worried about, or does it just shift around from month to month?
I could use some help here.
What does this mean:
1. slightly divided endometrium?
2. cylindrical cervical canal in speculum exam?
3. and what does uterus b.o. imply?
Thanks in advance!
