This is so messed up... in Health ·
If you’re still feeling this way, I’d honestly suggest just calling 911 and walking them through what’s happening,
they're really the best ones to figure this out.

I honestly think this headache might be tied to the weather—the barometric pressure has been all over the place lately, and as someone who’s a total sucker for these atmospheric shifts, I know how much they can suck.
The day before yesterday, I was basically out of commission; my face went pale from the sheer pressure in my head, and I genuinely felt like something was about to snap. What usually helps me is just laying down with a cold compress on my forehead. If you have the AC running, I’d actually suggest turning it off for a bit, because I find the sudden temperature changes just make everything worse.
Did you end up feeling nauseous too? Just a heads-up, try not to take any pills on an empty stomach.
A lot of people forget to eat when it gets this hot out. You might not even feel hungry, but your body is still burning through energy, and that lack of food can definitely make the headache much more intense.

About that bump that showed up... do you think it might be from an old injury you had?
Or maybe you bumped your head and just didn't realize it at the time?
Is it tender if you touch it? How long has it been there, and how big is it actually?
I spent so many summers just running on pure adrenaline and barely any sleep, maybe ten days straight without catching much shut-eye😲
It was exhausting, sure, but honestly? It was totally worth it. We’d stay out until dawn, just hanging out on the porch waiting for the sun to come up, deep in conversation, analyzing life and dissecting everything that mattered to us🙄 Then it was straight to the beach—we wouldn't even bother heading home. We’d just live there, swimming, eating whatever we could find right on the sand, maybe catching a quick nap here and there. By 7 PM, we’d finally head back to shower, go through our little rituals to get ready to head back out, and then it would all start all over again.
Man, I’d give anything to be sixteen again.😳 That was just how life was, year after year, just living in that loop.🙄
I basically survived high school on zero sleep because I’ve always been such a night owl—I’m talking maybe four or five hours a night, tops.
And honestly, today is enough, though I usually don't have any trouble passing out if I actually had something to do.

It was actually during those days right before New Year's that I really felt the lack of sleep hitting me. I stayed out all through Thursday night, then spent Friday morning just lying around for an hour before heading out to wander around the city all day. Then Saturday night we were out at some party over on Martha's Vineyard, and again, I barely rested at all😲—that wasn't even sleeping. Saturday turned into another full day out, followed by staying up Sunday night, then rushing to clean the house Sunday morning before driving down to the coast😲 😲 😵. Once New Year's Eve rolled around, there was no actual sleep involved, just the after-party vibes😲. I managed to doze off for maybe two hours—which doesn't count as sleep, let's be real👎—before the long drive back home and
watching the fireworks light up the sky🤣 🤣 😳,

The lesson here: we really need to get some rest if we don't want to end up 🙂—
totally wiped out

What is wrong with me??? HELP!!! in Health ·
Sandra Reyes said:There really aren't any magic pills for fatigue. If you're dealing with low blood pressure, that's just one of those symptoms you kind of have to learn to live with... I deal with it almost every single day myself.

My blood pressure is also incredibly low (right now, when it's acting "abnormal," it's sitting at 85/40-50), especially in the afternoons. It’s not uncommon for me to doze off during lectures if they get boring...🙂 🙈 ...even at the beach, regardless of whether the sun is scorching or not. 🙂 ...I totally get what you mean, especially when you actually need to focus, but there is some help out there—though someone here might call me out for suggesting this—
but if I were you, I'd suggest getting ginkgo tablets. Make sure to grab the ones from a reliable brand like Walgreens because their film-coated versions are much easier on the stomach; I usually take a couple when I'm studying hard, and they really work if you take them consistently.

Besides that, I’d recommend staying hydrated, specifically with green tea, or maybe even a semi-fermented black tea if you're in Washington, D.C., where you can order it online from
www.greentea-shop.com
I drink their ginkgo tea because it helps nudge my blood pressure up slightly, alongside the Walgreens tablets.
I'd also suggest their red semi-fermented tea because it really helps boost energy levels and concentration.

And of course, the final tip—drink coffee. Don't overdo it, obviously, but you probably already know your own body well enough to know when that heavy fatigue hits during the day—that's when you have a cup.
For example, I have about 2 or 3 a day. Some might say that's too much, but for me, it isn't; it really "wakes me up."

As for vitamins, the multi-complex from Nature's Bounty is great—honestly, maybe even the best one I've ever tried.

Also, try to avoid heavy meals. Especially with this heat, I don't think you should be eating anything greasy since it just makes you feel sluggish; stick to something light instead.
Has anyone tried Mederma? in Health ·
You can definitely pick it up, and honestly, it works wonders—you just have to be super consistent about applying it.
