I’m feeling a little let down. It’s not that the movie was bad, per se, but it definitely could have been much better. Honestly, the whole "time travel" gimmick made their nuclear romance feel unearned—if you want a real time-travel love story, *Vincent and the Doctor* actually hits those notes. Plus, Rachel’s constant whispering and over-the-top expressions stripped away the last bit of grounded reality I needed to actually connect with her character. Don't get me wrong, the acting is top-tier, though I suppose that's expected given the cast. My highlights were definitely the wedding scenes and seeing Tom Hollander playing a drunken Harry. 😍
Usually, I’m a sucker for anything involving Curtis, and even *Boat That Rocked* makes the cut for me. So, this level of unimpressed sentiment is a genuine surprise, even for me. People keep comparing this to *Sliding Doors*, but honestly, that movie left a much more beautiful impression on me.

Fair enough... did I ever actually say I agree with his every opinion or that I'm out here campaigning for him? How do you know he hasn't already taken aim at me personally through his comments? Honestly, after watching countless episodes, I still can't wrap my head around why certain people choose to subject themselves to public humiliation and embarrass themselves over and over again.

I honestly still don't get why everyone is throwing stones at Simon. In my view, his shows are just a mirror held up to our current culture. Every era has its own arena, and it all boils down to bread and circuses. Everyone wants their fifteen minutes of fame, even the talented ones who opt for the path of least resistance. He isn't exploiting anyone or leading them astray; people are perfectly capable of exploiting themselves in more ways than they care to admit. Sure, I watch Simon's shows—partly because he’s actually one of the more engaging hosts out there—but I’m certainly not the one lining his pockets. Thank goodness we still have actual human beings, rather than some sort of psychological mediocrities, who can distinguish between genuine talent and a complete disaster, helping us realize just how wrong we might be.

Besides, the only reason I jumped into this thread was because calling someone a monster or a piece of trash is just plain rude and classless. It seems I’m not quite equipped for such heavy-handed rhetoric, so I’ll bow out of this debate now. Kisses 🙂

You're exaggerating... being persistent and resourceful are actual virtues, not flaws. It makes Simon look like some kind of monster just because he actually knows how to do his job. You’d think she’d stop to consider why people would ever trust him with their entire lives and careers in the first place..
