Thanks for the input... I went to see a dermatologist, and honestly, they just tried to upsell me on a mountain of expensive creams. They even handed me this handwritten list of whatever they think is "best"... I might give that thermal water a shot; there's really nothing to lose at this point. As for those screenings, which pharmacies actually carry them? Specifically, does anyone know if they're available in New York City?
I guess I could try that... any other advice out there?
I honestly feel like my eye color is the only thing on my face that’s actually the right shade... everywhere else, my skin just looks this awful, angry red. It makes my whole complexion look way darker than it should be and just plain unhealthy
So, I'm 20 now, and back when I was a teenager, my skin was a total disaster—lots of acne, ranging from those massive, painful ones to smaller breakouts... Fast forward to today, and while the big cystic stuff has cleared up, I'm left with this constant redness and these tiny little spots that just look terrible... It’s only really started bothering me lately, though, and honestly, it's killing my confidence and making me feel pretty unattractive... On top of all that, my face gets incredibly oily 😢
If anyone out there actually knows what they're doing and can recommend a specific product... please help. The worst part is seeing that my dad dealt with the exact same thing, and you can still see those little scars on his skin... I really don't want to end up looking like that... so I'm hoping for some advice... 😉
