It’s just boring. The kind of movie where you sit there wondering how someone actually thought this was worth making.
They found some cute little girls who pretend they're acting, but honestly? They're just there to crack a few cheap jokes.

I think lonepanther4 was talking about setting up multiple user profiles on Windows. That way, everyone gets their own account when they boot up Wins, and you can just check the remember me box when logging into the forum. Just keep in mind, you can only register one account per email address, so you'd still have to sign up separately for each one. 🙂

I can wipe out posts that are basically just spam (like someone trying to plug another forum...) if someone actually complains. As for reading private messages? I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure that's not how things work here. 🤷

Anyway, cheers. 😉
Thanks a lot, lupus_est!

The editorial team isn't willing to give a straight answer regarding reading PMs. 🙂
Interesting.

It just tracks how many people a specific user has brought onto the forum. There isn't much of a practical use for it, but there you go...

And no, the number of referrals doesn't have anything to do with a member's rank. 🙏

Thanks, man. Appreciate it. 😉

I’m trying to wrap my head around these recommendation points. Every user profile has a "Recommendations" section followed by a number—most people seem stuck at "0," while a few others have anything from 1 to 8 (though I haven't seen anyone higher than that yet).

There are two things I'm specifically curious about:
1) Who actually gives out these points, how does the process work, and what's the logic behind them? Is this just one specific type of credit?
2) Does the number in the Recommendations field have anything to do with a user's rank or status on the site? Because I noticed some Administrators have fewer points than certain Moderators and stuff like that.

1) Look, just a heads-up: after you're done messing around on the forum, make sure you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the index page and hit that logout link. Seriously, do it. If you don't, your sister could hop on and log into your account right under your nose—or she might just end up using her own. Just be smart about it. remember meAnd once you're done with it, just log out. Simple as that.

2) Just set up multiple user accounts on your PC. That way, you can cycle through them indefinitely without ever running out of steam. remember me I don't see any reason to worry about someone hijacking an account or posting under someone else's name on this forum. It seems pretty secure to me. Plus, my sister hops on here to post every now and then, so I just set this up for her. 😉

I'm looking at section 2) here. Can someone walk me through this? My sister is also a member of this forum, and because of her, I couldn't even sign up using our shared email address—I had to go through Yahoo instead. There’s no way we can both be using the exact same one, right? It makes things such a headache. And if we decide to just make multiple user accounts, does that mean we need a bunch of different email addresses, or...?

So, I’ve got a question regarding Private Messages. Looking at the Forum Rules—specifically the section detailing what the moderation team is allowed to do—it says they have the authority to delete both incoming and outgoing PMs. I saw a debate going on earlier about whether the mods actually read our private messages. Someone mentioned that despite what people think, they don't actually go snooping through them. So, here’s my thing: do they actually read them or not? And if they do have the power, why on earth would they bother deleting a user's messages when they're supposed to be private?
