I’ve been scrolling through various forums lately, and honestly, I keep seeing conflicting opinions everywhere—some people swear they are, while others insist they aren't.
EIT:
Looking at the recent election results, I can't help but feel that for any of the major political parties, staying in the opposition actually seems like the more strategic move.
The polling data from the big agencies suggests the Green Party is sitting at about 3.9%, and that's just counting mail-in ballots.
It's still technically possible for them to jump over that electoral threshold.
A MASSIVE TWIST IN THE STORY OF THE WORLD'S YOUNGEST PREMIER. With just one strategic move, the Social Democrat leader could provide much-needed relief to a wounded European left wing.

Total bullshit article. Sebastian Kurz is going to be Chancellor.
If the SPO decides to oust Sebastian Kurz and puts Karl Nehammer in charge as Defense Minister, we could actually see a coalition forming with the FPOE. Honestly, a red-blue alliance wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary in the political landscape of the US.
The youth in Germany and the youth in the Republic of Austria couldn't be more different. It's night and day. Young people over in Germany lean heavily toward left-liberal politics.

It seems like even voters over in the Republic of Austria are tightening their belts a bit, so they aren't exactly throwing their support behind the Greens anymore...
A huge chunk of those Green votes actually swung over to Pilzu. Plus, their candidate Lunaschek was an absolute nightmare for them.

I’m leaning the same way—it looks like the gap between the major parties is going to be pretty slim.
