what even is aero anyway

I mean, it doesn't seem like a big deal right now, but it actually messes things up when you're trying to use Windows Explorer

so how do I turn this
aero
thing back on?

So, I was messing around with some Windows 7 system updates today

Got them installed and all, but now I'm dealing with this one little headache

See, before I ran the update, back when I’d hover my mouse over an icon on the taskbar, a little preview square—maybe 4 or 5cm wide—would pop up right above it

But ever since the update, whenever I hover over a program, it shows this whole list instead. Plus, the taskbar turned blue, which it definitely wasn't doing before
I mean, I get that it isn't exactly a "broken" system or anything, but I'm curious... how do I get those little preview squares back?

Thanks

Been running on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 for about 8 months now
Everything’s been fine, mostly, but lately things have been getting weird
WINDOWS EXPLORER just hangs out of nowhere sometimes, so I end up having to force a restart just to get moving again
Anyone actually know what the hell causes that?

XP! 😁

Honestly, Windows 7 was the peak. Most complete OS out there, hands down.

Like, I try to open Facebook through Firefox and it just shows the homepage for a split second then vanishes... gone. Reinstalled the whole damn thing and still nothing. If anyone's dealt with this glitch before, please let me know how to fix it.. thanks 😁

Honestly, I ran into the exact same headache with Firefox and Facebook,
so I just nuked Firefox and installed Google Chrome instead.
I use Internet Explorer 8 and Chrome now, and both work fine without any of that Facebook nonsense.

No offense intended, but Firefox just sucks in my book.

Yeah, sure, it’s totally possible for Windows to grab more RAM just to stay afloat, whatever.

hey everyone

I've been running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit for like 7 or 8 months now
I only have 1GB of RAM, but honestly, my Windows runs without any issues at all
