I heard from a buddy of mine that those patches actually work wonders...
He started by just deciding one day that he wasn't going to light up a single cigarette. Then, the next morning, he applied a patch (mostly because he said the lack of nicotine made him feel too lazy to even move, if you know what I mean). It’s been seven days since he last smoked. He says he doesn't even get the cravings, and honestly, drinking coffee without a smoke seems totally fine to him now. He was a smoker for over ten years, too...

I've got a box of Nicorette sitting right here—who knows, maybe I'll finally make the call to quit tomorrow... 🙂
Help! Dealing with bacterial vaginosis :( in Health ·
Douglas Cooper68 said:here’s my situation!
I’m 18 and haven't even been sexually active yet, but based on everything I'm feeling—weird discharge, itching, stinging, you name it—it feels like I have bacterial vaginosis. I really want to get rid of this... but like a lot of people, I’m trying to avoid that awful gynecologist exam. Since it looks like the meds for vaginitis require a prescription, I guess I’ll have to see a doctor... so, I was wondering if I actually need a full pelvic exam before a doctor can write me a script? And could I just handle this with my regular family doctor instead...
pliz help😢

Honestly, a gynecological exam isn't quite as scary or gross as it sounds... 🙂
And if you're dealing with this kind of issue, it's probably best to just go... maybe the first time is a little awkward, but eventually, you realize it’s really not a big deal. 😉
A specialist will be able to help you most effectively because they can see exactly what's going on... plus, it helps prevent any potential complications down the road... so, yeah—better to just head to the gynecologist... 🙂
