Benjamin Thompson66 said:What an absolute disaster of a lineup... I mean, seeing Franz Ferdinand on the bill yet again? At this point, we might need to call in Gavrilo Princip just to shake things up and break through the sheer boredom currently hitting the streets of Chicago... and now Krampfer is out too... honestly, you can already tell what kind of vibe this band is going for... I truly feel like the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is such a letdown this year....

Actually, The Cranberries pulled out of their entire tour, not just the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival show.🙄

By the way, if anyone is looking for free passes to the Axe festival, there is a giveaway happening right now where they are handing out 15 sets of 2 tickets!http://bitly.com/KXnuOd ☕
I honestly feel like a whole new person after that surgery.
The biggest change hasn't even been physical—it’s been entirely psychological! While they didn't go overboard on the cosmetic side of things, the boost to my mental health has been massive. I don't find myself trying to hide my nose anymore; if anything, I’m actually feeling really confident about it! ☕

I'd love to hear some wonderful suggestions on what we should stock up on! Let's brainstorm how to fill our candy boxes so we never run into a sugar emergency... 😁
Personally, I always opt for certified shipping every single time.
I make sure to hand over a perfectly filled-out customs form along with my package, too.
Honestly, you can send just about anything via certified mail if you want that peace of mind.
The problem with just sending a standard parcel is that you're basically flying blind—there’s zero guarantee it actually arrives,
and you don't get a tracking number to follow its journey... which is why I never, ever ship things that way.
I need to know my stuff is safe! I’d much rather shell out an extra four or five bucks$1.75 than deal with the massive headache of something getting lost in the shuffle.😍
I cast my vote for Embassy 519!
Seriously though, those guys are absolutely crushing it right now.
👍
Hey sweetie... if you're sending perfumes, please make sure to pack them in a sturdy box and wrap them up well with some bubble wrap or foam padding!
I’m just saying, if you just slide them into a standard envelope, there's a huge chance they'll get crushed or broken during transit..
Personally, I've never had anything arrive broken when I've used proper packaging. And just to be safe, definitely mark the package as "Fragile" in the bottom left corner so the delivery folks actually know to handle it with care.
😉
I make it a point to tell everyone who buys from me that I always send items via certified mail, and I’ll even snap a photo of the receipt just to show them it's on its way! I always try to aim for a fair middle ground when calculating costs $5.00.
Even up in San Francisco, prices haven't budged an inch.
Just look at today—I paid $4.75 😲 for a little 360g package sent certified. What?! And then other times, a tiny 87g package goes for 12.20.
It's the same story with my mom; she paid 18.80 for a small package under 500g back in Charleston.
There is absolutely zero logic to it. 😢
Honestly, I think all these prices are just swinging wildly within a 10-$6.75 range, and they basically charge whatever they feel like! I’ve never actually complained before because, ugh, I hate the idea of everyone else standing in line at the Post Office staring at me.
But yesterday, I actually sent an email to info@usps.com just to lodge a formal complaint about this whole mess. All they did was tell me how hard it is to prove and suggested we should take our grievances straight to the regional directors next time. Well, I’ve decided right now that I am going to save every single receipt from every single thing I ever mail, just so we can finally see if there's any actual pattern to this madness. 🤷 😠
You really ought to take a close look at the Media Act and the Freedom of Information Act.
It’s such a shame that these kinds of situations even happen, but if you want to protect yourself, please, at least make sure you're communicating via email. 🤷 That is exactly what I suggested to a friend of mine just the other day.
He was being hounded by a reporter from The New York Post who was relentlessly pushing to publish his full name and photos (which also included several other anonymous people). Poor guy—he’s just a student and didn't even realize what was happening, so he called me after she had already pressured him into giving up his name.
My advice was simple: tell her explicitly in writing that he does not consent, and then make sure he saves that email.
There are definitely some total jerks out there in the journalism world. Honestly, it breaks my heart to say it, but I actually graduated from journalism school. 😢
