mellowdrifter9 said:In my own experience, they tend to support my spiritual work, and occasionally, while performing healing, I might receive a message intended for that specific person. I suppose everything really hinges on the guide; it mostly comes down to cooperation, which is essentially what I mentioned earlier in the thread.

I think you can tell by the energy—by their physical presence, how they radiate, the messages they convey, and how you personally feel in that exact moment. For instance, do you find yourself feeling drained, exhausted, or perhaps irritable during and after contact with them? Or, conversely, do you feel rested, energized, relaxed, or even joyful?

A great deal of this also depends on how energetically strong a person is, how grounded they are, and how much high-vibration energy they can actually process... and so on.

Quite simply, the "good" ones radiate divine light, love, and wisdom... whereas the bad ones are merely acting.
I believe no demon can truly impersonate an angel; they might attempt it, but they cannot sustain that form, that light, or that love for long, nor can they truly radiate such energy.

Ultimately, all of this is learned through practice and direct experience...

Spotting them is such slippery territory—especially when someone is acting.
In the spirit world, those boundaries are incredibly thin...

Some people get lucky and land in a wealthy family, while others end up struggling to make ends meet—whatever you want to call being broke—but on a soul level, we're already living in this state of eternal abundance. Everything else? It’s just a physical illusion. There's nothing "real" out there without our own personal projections, like our belief systems and the choices we make.

But hang on, it actually *does* matter because that stuff can seriously shape how your life plays out.

mellowdrifter9 said:I certainly agree that not everything that glitters is gold. I have had some rather difficult experiences myself, and based on those, I try to discern whether we are dealing with true divine beings. Generally speaking, it seems they manifest if you have actively called upon them—if you have opened yourself up and sought assistance. If you are asking a specific Archangel or a master for help, it is quite possible that someone else might appear instead, someone who might be more specialized in that particular area.

Michael A. tends to appear when you require protection, support, cleansing, or if you have been chosen in some way for a specific type of spiritual healing or spiritual service.
Raphael A. may manifest if you are in need of healing, or if you are working to heal someone else and they require assistance—essentially, if you are on the path of becoming a healer.
Gabriel A. might reach out if you need to receive a specific message, news, or guidance regarding your spiritual work, your journey, or your ability to channel messages.

Native American Teachers, shamans, or what some call a medicine man might contact you if you are connecting deeply with nature, or if you are working toward the healing of nature and Mother Earth. This usually happens if you are open to that specific spiritual lifestyle or if you held such connections in past lives.

They always seem to appear for a reason, especially during this transitional period we are currently navigating.

But what if what they’re asking of you...?

how do you tell the good ones from the bad?

mellowdrifter9 said:The topic here is spiritual guides and the importance of cooperation.

I’m honestly not quite sure where everyone is headed with this discussion....
Let me offer my own experience as an example.
When I was undergoing my initiation to become a reiki master, Michael A. manifested to me. He introduced himself mentally, offered his greetings, and remained by my side throughout the entire rite. If he hadn't explicitly introduced himself, I might not have known who he was at all. I would have just been guessing. I called upon him along with other spiritual guides, and he responded, appearing before me and stating his name. I believe names exist for a reason, just as their manifestations do. The key is cooperation; the goal is precisely what many spiritualists seem to have forgotten: understanding why they are even here and what their true purpose is.

Perhaps that is why there is such discord within spirituality, and why there is so much imbalance, pain, suffering, and misfortune....
I don't think people realize just how powerful and capable they truly are, or the sheer strength that lies within them....

Think about the power held by 1,000 people uniting in meditation and prayer for peace. Imagine the energy that rises, the specific vibration created.... especially when that focus is directed toward healing, cleansing, or transformation. Now, imagine that intensity when the number grows from ten to a hundred, or a thousand times greater.
And that is assuming you have the support of beings from the spirit world....

No matter how long you have been masters, teachers, priests, wizards, or mages... there is still so much you likely do not yet know.

Why are you here, right now, in this specific time and place, facing these exact problems while possessing these hidden abilities and gifts deep inside you?....
Why are you present during this specific transitional period on planet Earth? What is your mission, your true purpose?!

What I am trying to convey is centered on cooperation. When you open yourself up enough to cooperate with beings from the spirit world, they manifest, they introduce themselves, and they work alongside you. They assist in your personal growth and help you fulfill your life's mission—provided you have actually recognized it and aligned yourself with it. If you haven't, they will help you find that way.

They are here for our sake, and their names are provided for our benefit, because we are still tethered to this dimension and often fail to perceive them in their true form.

How many of you have actually felt the energy of Christ?! And how many of you would even recognize Him if He appeared to you in a dream (or suddenly stood before you during meditation) to heal you and deliver answers to your prayers? Would you even know it was Him if He hadn't introduced Himself or given you His name???

Have you developed yourselves enough to recognize divine beings based solely on their energetic signature?
It is very rare—truly, incredibly few people—who are actually capable of doing that!

So, what now?

We're getting a free lesson here.😒

Questions: How do you actually know they are divine beings?

Do these beings lack their own free will, or do they possess it?

What is their purpose in showing up... serving, communicating, bringing us joy, or something else entirely?

In my experience, I've learned that all that glitters isn't gold. ...😲

mellowdrifter9 said:I suppose names are given to us for a reason, much like mantras, prayers, or the Word itself. Everything seems to happen for a purpose. For the specific stage of the journey she is currently navigating, names are necessary, and they exist there for her sake. Once she reaches those higher states where energy is moved solely through thought—states where Reiki Masters no longer need to draw symbols or recite them because they have outgrown such things... then, perhaps, she won't need a name either. At that point, she will simply feel the energy, recognize it, and resonate with it on a much higher level than she does now.

Also, if you don't have any personal experiences of your own to share with us, I would kindly ask that you refrain from commenting unless someone specifically asks for your explanation.
Thank you for understanding.
Namaste.

The name is the destiny!

Knowing a name means holding power (since a name carries its own vibration). But remember, nobody hands you power over yourself. You can never be too careful when navigating those kinds of environments.

Maria Robinson2 said:In most cases, that’s exactly how it works—the collective energy of a group is stronger, which is why an individual can be so easily swayed by the crowd.
It reminds me of... walking into a room and sensing the vibe before you even step inside. Does a single person notice that shift right at the threshold? Maybe. But if they've already crossed that line and stayed in the room, does it mean they can just back out the moment they hit the doorway?
For some people, their own energy is strong enough to hold its own against a crowd—though, honestly, those are things you just learn to handle as you get older. There aren't any universities that teach you this sort of thing. I suppose I think, know, believe so.

That’s completely wrong—the energy of a group isn't just a simple sum of everyone's individual vibes. The more people there are, the more you enter a totally new category altogether. It usually becomes a projection of intense, emotionally charged consciousness where people dump their fears because they're safe in numbers... just look at history! Think about the mob mentality during a lynching, where a crowd finds courage in throwing Peter to the wolves just to experience a catharsis through someone else's death. They convince themselves he deserves it and that hanging him will make them feel better.

And supposedly, Jesus's crucifixion was nothing more than the relief of a mass of people who would rather choose a sacrifice than actually change themselves or the world around them.

Then you have certain individuals who are energetically stronger than the collective and can impose themselves upon the group, much like the master political illusionist Hitler.
An idea that taps into people's objective struggles and flirts with heavy emotions can easily ignite a crowd, turning them into a mindless mob where individual boundaries vanish and "I" transforms into "WE."
So, really, it all comes down to identification.

If you want to practice sensing the energy of a space, all you have to do is visit places where thoughts are constantly being left behind and created—like cathedrals, mosques, or temples. From what I've seen, you can really tell the difference between an airy, gentle energetic structure and one that feels dense and suffocating, making you want to get out as fast as possible.

It looks like I might not be as creative as I thought, since I haven't quite managed to become my own god. Maybe I'm just a little devil sometimes. Does that count?

Oh, it absolutely counts!😉
Atheism vs. Spirituality: Zero Tolerance in Spirituality ·
Joseph Bailey41 said:Where on earth are you getting the idea that atheists lack creativity? 🤔

Creativity doesn't really have much to do with searching for God. Honestly, at a certain level of consciousness, pure creativity actually replaces all that digging and soul-searching for the divine. You basically become your own god, and honestly, that's more than enough for me!😒

Adam Ross6 said:I just tell by looking at the people eating it.

They keep spinning this wheel and slapping a new brand on it every single day.
Another lie.

When something is used on a massive scale, it leaves a mark. We are unique individuals; we don't need translators or interpreters to tell us what's what.

So you think you're brave enough to live without the truth?

"And death will be something entirely human..."

It all depends on the person and what they're reaching for.

Whatever hope you have defines how much life—and death—actually matters.

Those who constantly run from it into the arms of life have already died without even realizing it. 👏 🎉

People don't really go out and "find" life. You just have to let life find you.

Those who try to stifle life end up alone in death.
Because, honestly, you can't run away from yourself.

So, eternal life found you in a bag of Doritos, huh? 👏

Adam Ross6 said:I don't think you even grasp what junk food actually is. It’s just a creative—read: fake—imitation of the real thing.
Basically, it’s total garbage.
It's a bold way to ignore the truth.

That "junk food" you're talking about? It’s just a concept of food, not actual nourishment.

Total spin doctoring.

Just plain old lies.

Pure poison.

And how exactly would you know what constitutes junk food? Is that based on some intense laboratory study of religious doctrines?

When something is used on a massive scale, it leaves a mark. We are unique individuals; none of us needs a translator or an interpreter to tell us what's what.

"And death will be something profoundly human..."
Those who spend their entire lives running away from it, desperately clinging to life, have already died without even realizing it.🎉👏

Adam Ross6 said:Are we talking about those people with withered, dried-out souls here?

Souls really need the right kind of nutrition.
I mean, we're talking food without an expiration date—the living bread.
If you've got a taste for it, go for it. If not, well, find whatever satisfies you.
Your soul is basically just a reflection of what you feed it.
Some people's spirits have been stale for ages, while others are just barely keeping theirs on life support with nothing but junk food.

Junk food... when consumed en masse, it's definitely not good for the soul.

It just seems like you're getting way too carried away with it all, to the point where you actually forget it's nothing but an act...🙂

Aha, so I'm talking to myself... "playing games while the ink spills everywhere"...🙏

ambereagle642 said:Oh, please... look, as long as you’re carrying all that misery around in your own head, it’s going to exist in the world—because the world is basically just an extension of what's happening inside your skull. Don't you people see that you are the literal source of your "self," which then creates your version of the world, the pain... everything you love or hate? In one single moment, the suffering is there, and in the next, it's gone. You're basically just chasing your own tail...

And why on earth are you worrying about what's going on inside my head?🙏
Attachment and Suffering in Spirituality ·
Michael Gonzalez77 said:I was only joking. 🙂

Look, at the end of the day, we don't actually experience "life" outside of our own heads. We never truly feel anything beyond our own senses. In that sense, we’re talking about the exact same thing—I was only joking, but I bet you feel the same way. 😁

Looks like my joke mode is officially turned off today...😵

Michael Gonzalez77 said:We need it. We need it to make sense of the sheer absurdity of life—how one thing says one thing, another thing does the exact opposite, and a third thing thinks something else entirely.

It’s almost like life itself isn't already doing a pretty great job of advertising its own craziness...🤣

Honestly, there's a certain level of absurdity in thinking you actually need someone to explain absurdity to you while being absolutely absurd yourself!😁
