Thomas Nelson25 said:So, basically saying Judo (and there’s plenty of other "ki" or "chi" based stuff out there too) is nothing more than just technique?

..that's my take—even if it's just a suggestion—as long as it fuels you up energetically, that's what matters. That's really the whole point of any spiritual experience, whether it's a specific skill or even medicine.

One should start from the premise that not all "energy" is the same (we actually call it something else, but anyway), and that your etheric body is essentially your own protection—not something meant to be manipulated at will by just anyone (especially not some random charlatan).

It is interesting, though, that only two people here recognized the suggestion for what it truly was.

You're giving up way too soon. If Fleming had actually stuck strictly to his lab protocols, who knows how much longer we would've been waiting for penicillin.

As you can see above, we were discussing third-party suggestion—where it isn't necessarily the individual performing an action themselves, but rather doing so because of an external influence (like during a specific experiment).

In fact, people like that often deal specifically with various types of hypnosis. Or perhaps just self-hypnosis. From an ethical standpoint, that first scenario is highly questionable. Here, the person in the thread is suggesting something under the guise of an experiment. Furthermore, there was mention of how these techniques function at the level of the performer or the hypnotist.

Does that make sense? 🙂

They act like they're on some higher social or emotional plane.
You could basically call them extreme left-wing "racists."

Well, isn't it true that they are generally more developed as a nation than some backwater regions?

And yes, I want what is best for the Swedes☕ and I believe that will happen.

For instance, in the European Union parliament lately, Sweden has been among the loudest voices, and their representatives were actually the biggest allies to Nigel Farage and UKIP, so...

I think bluemason3 makes a valid point, as this really feels reminiscent of hypnosis—the kind of stuff you see stage hypnotists or circus performers pulling off on stage

It goes without saying how wrong this is on every possible level, whether you're looking at it from an ethical or a moral standpoint.

It isn't about you; it's about your posts. That makes you a liar right from the very first post in this thread.

Is that clear enough? Now, please just scroll away and go lie or fantasize about things that don't exist somewhere else. ☕

(So you've been lying since the beginning, which is why people are calling you out... and whenever you do it, someone is going to comment.)

You aren't exactly innocent in this whole situation either... so yeah.

You were actually going after the community members by flame-warring over their topics.
(All while hiding behind the guise of "criticizing the hooligans at the stadium")

That's also a violation of the rules and US law.

1. You are unconsciously doing exactly what you accuse everyone else of doing in this thread. You are supporting and shielding violence—specifically, the lynching of hooligans who are being threatened with extreme physical harm.

2. I never once encouraged causing trouble, so you cherry-picked a post that had nothing to do with that just to prove to the moderator that someone else was inciting disorder.🙏

3. You completely missed the point of my post. I didn't compare this lynching to the Misappropriation. Read my post again; maybe then you'll understand what I meant.

Just ignore him... because it seems there isn't a God out there who can explain anything to this user in a way he'd actually accept. And honestly, it looks like he never even bothers to read other people's posts during a debate, or realizes you have to look at the whole context, the main point, and even the tone of the discussion or subforum, etc., etc.

Plus, if I've read the posts here correctly, he's already reached out to another super-moderator with a complaint—probably via PM—about the exact same thing he's been writing about here for days.

Unprecedented... and I'd say, extremely so. A bit scary.

And let's not forget the core issue from the start— under the guise of criticizing hooligans during the FIFA World Cup 2014 match against the Czech Republic, he's basically just settling scores with other users across different threads. He's actually targeting them, isn't he?. And he does it constantly.

Maybe a permanent ban or a partial one? I don't know... I'm not making the call, but if other users need it, then I guess they should get it.

You completely missed the point of my post. I didn't compare this lynching to the Misappropriation. Read my post again; maybe then you'll understand what I meant.

And not just your post. Like I thought—it seems he doesn't always catch those subtle threads of communication in a debate, which are perfectly clear to everyone else.

I already gave my answer to someone else. It isn't my job to do yours. My role is simply to issue a warning, while you all handle the actual enforcement. What, should we just hand everything to you on a silver platter so you can just glue cardboard together?

Ha, 🤣except you aren't issuing warnings; if anything, it seems like—to put it mildly—you’re just repeatedly lying.

Get serious, man, honestly... people here don't have the time for your nonsense.

Joseph Stewart38 said:I already gave you my answer. I am not a moderator, and I have no intention of digging through threads, searching, or copy-pasting posts from one topic to this one just to do their job and serve everything to them on a silver platter. They are the ones responsible for that, not me.

You can't or won't provide links because you're trying to plant evidence that doesn't exist, right? That's the reason. It wouldn't be much trouble to drop a single post into some supposed thread where the moderators and the whole forum are supposedly, quote: 'encouraging violence and applauding violence.'

Why is there no proof? Because what you're trying to frame people with simply isn't there. Now, someone could certainly go over there, copy a perfectly normal post, and then come back here to explain to you what that post actually means or doesn't mean, but man, you've already wasted everyone's Time.

Later.

Well, why don't you drop more links then... if you actually have an accusation to make.🙏

(because right now, it just looks like you're talking nonsense and starting threads for no reason)

And honestly, what might seem like grounds for a warning or a ban to you might look totally different to someone else. You get that, right?

Joseph Stewart38 said:Just take a look at what the moderator under the handle "Titus" is posting in the thread about the fan riots; it’s all crystal clear—it's basically just thinly veiled support for the chaos and hooliganism. Of course, he didn't explicitly say, "I support the rioting," because he's smart enough to know he can't write that, but everything he writes serves to justify the actions those thugs took during the match against Chelsea. Absolutely everything is aimed at legitimizing this violent struggle against the football federation leadership. You'd have to be blind not to see it, or malicious enough to intentionally ignore it.

And on those same threads last night, while you were (for hours on end) referencing those alleged "hooligans and lowlifes," you were more or less indirectly addressing them too, constantly talking to the forum members there, right? And nonstop and way out of proportion... repeating yourself like a broken record about some "bums, drunks," and such, along with a couple of others from Politics.

(Yeah, you're probably clever enough that you didn't write it totally blatantly so you could dodge a penalty, even if it was transparent and not particularly smart enough to hide your true intentions).

That's basically why you showed up there (last night), wasn't it? Just to troll and flame them, right? Come on, admit it...😉

We could go on like this until tomorrow... do you think anyone here is stupid, or what? I honestly don't even get what your goal is.

Joseph Stewart38 said:It’s probably best if I’m the one hunting down posts they should be finding themselves.

The thing is, they don't actually have to find them—if you've filed a complaint, you're supposed to provide the evidence yourself. Besides, this forum or the world at large doesn't exactly revolve around you.

Joseph Stewart38 said:There's an entire crowd of posts on the riot thread applauding this hooliganism and offering their support, yet none of them have faced any sanctions.

I don't understand why you won't just provide the evidence and give one specific example among that massive sea of criminal and extreme posts you claim to be preparing for the police? (Assuming you actually are compiling evidence for the authorities, as you suggested in your opening post...) Rather than implying that "inciting violence is tolerated" or claiming that, quote: "the mods are encouraging violence."

If all those posts are indeed problematic—which clearly they aren't—then why isn't anyone posting links to them?

Regardless, I'm heading out...

I get flagged for trolling during registration because I openly mocked someone trying to justify hooliganism by blaming some destroyed American heritage—regardless of whether that's actually true. For heaven's sake, just punish the maniacs who incite violence and senseless hatred.

It was obvious how it went down... a few "tourists" from downtown hijacked their entire online system tonight, and now they show up here complaining about injustice and tyranny (they're even threatening to call the cops, LOL)...

Regarding the person above acting all high and mighty about Luka Modrić, what exactly is the issue? It seems you all simply crossed every line and decided to take advantage of the situation.

(And let's be real, nobody is stupid enough to miss what's actually happening).

I actually reported the moderator for blatant trolling, so I'm genuinely curious to see if any disciplinary action is taken.

The mod supposedly approved what was labeled as 'hate speech' and allegedly 'inciting violence.'

I highly doubt that's the case.
(It feels more likely that they're just stirring up drama and overreacting.)

Joseph Stewart38 said:I am calling on the supermoderators to take a hard look at the discourse on this subforum. There is an alarming amount of violence being condoned—in some cases even encouraged—all under the guise of "fighting against the USSF." The level of malice, hatred, incitement to unrest, and praise for illegal activities found here is unparalleled, yet the moderators seem to actively support and applaud such behavior.

I urge the supermoderators to investigate this before the police have to step in regarding the hate speech occurring here, which has clearly become the standard policy for those running the soccer subforum.

Or perhaps you are just overreacting and creating unnecessary drama again? (One could argue that this "terrorist" way of constantly opening threads in the local league section qualifies as interfering with administration work.)

The supermoderator of the subforum you are calling out is right there watching the situation as closely as possible...

It is obvious that the fans are angry, revolted, and disappointed... and frankly, one should be able to understand why.

Daniel Ward87 said:In my book, there isn't one, but what really matters is the specific thread where the debate is happening.
I can't tell you off the top of my head why certain posts stay up while others get nuked. It all depends on the context of the thread itself, which is why we always ask people to be more specific—like dropping a link to the thread or the exact post. To be fair, I haven't moderated Politics in a while, so I might not be the best authority here.

True, but you're a supermod, and as we all know, you used to be an admin. Plus, you significantly improved that "chronically problematic" Religion sub-forum (along with another section, thanks to the initiative of several other forum members back then and, let's not forget, the respected owner who agreed to the proposals), so those are your "credentials," so to speak. Maybe Politics needs someone like that.

Alternatively, why not open a thread for appeals/comments regarding the Politics sub-forum (similar to what other forums have had since the beginning)? That way, these issues could be handled internally, and appeals/comments would only go to the PZK if they couldn't be resolved there or if the admin needed to intervene.

The PZK shouldn't be clogged up with appeals about moderating Politics threads (which seems to account for about 85-95% of all PZK appeals at any given time). This would lighten the load for the moderators of this sub-forum who are already overwhelmed, and users would eventually have a chance to resolve disputes or questions about moderation in certain Politics threads without them being rushed to closure (which sometimes happens when people jump in from other sub-forums, starting off off-topic or trolling, leading to threads being locked).

Just an idea...
Experiment: Voting for moderators in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Just to follow up on a few points here—we have a new supermoderator active over in the Politics section. Since this individual previously served as an administrator, they bring a high level of objectivity to the table. If you have specific concerns regarding moderation or particular staff members, feel free to reach out with direct questions. General complaints without any substance probably won't get you very far anyway.

I’ll admit I was pretty confused for a while about who was actually in charge of moderating the Politics subforum, especially since different people kept stepping in to manage things. There were plenty of complaints about that, but to clear things up: Uncle Sam is now the supermoderator for that area.
