Tore it down, gave it a deep clean—it was honestly disgusting in there after being an old relic for nearly eight years
Anyway, temps are back to normal now and it’s actually staying powered on🙂
Thanks, everyone!
Hey everyone,
I've got this desktop setup at home
Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80ghz
2gb RAM
Radeon HD 4350
500gb
The thing keeps shutting itself down after being on for a little while
Yesterday it just died after about 20 minutes—I wasn't even doing anything significant
It basically dies the second I try to play a video
Not to mention how much it crawls when I try to run a video and open a heavy website at the same time
Attaching a screenshot here—maybe someone can make sense of this

I’ve got a term paper coming up on this topic—any chance someone could point me in the right direction? Just looking for a few quick bullet points on how this affects the economy here in the States, plus the main pros and cons.
thanks
Anyone willing to help me out with a purchase?

James Hayes6 said:You could go with somewhere, but make sure you tell them straight away to block any overdrafts or credit lines. Just stick to what you actually earn, period.
Overdrafts are basically like drugs. It feels great the first time, then the second time... before you know it, you're deep in the red and you've developed a taste for it. But how do you buy more drugs when you're out of cash? You hit that stage where you desperately need the fix but have zero dollars left, so you start looking for anything you can sell just to get by.
First, a person takes the drug, then the drug takes the person.
First, a person grabs the card, then the Card grabs the Person!! So, tell me, is that little overdraft feeling really worth it??
XD
Honestly, I just need to be able to send money and have a card to withdraw it whenever I want. No overdrafts, no nothing. Once I head off to college, I just want to be able to pull the cash my parents transfer to me instantly, without having to wait for some check to clear in the mail.
I’m looking to open a bank account—just somewhere I can stash my earnings and pull cash whenever I need via a debit card. I'm a total newbie at this sort of thing. xD
So, any suggestions on which bank would be worth dealing with?
Watched it last night—3/5
Thought the plot would be a bit more... expansive, I guess.

I've got a feeling this movie's going to be great—it hit theaters yesterday... just waiting for it to drop online.🙂
The movie is pure garbage
Just watched it—absolute beast of a movie, total carnage.
10/10

A modern spin on a horror classic is hitting US theaters, arriving nearly forty years after the original version had audiences screaming in their seats. Alan Silverman breaks down what’s changed in "The Last House on the Left."
The Collingwood family—Emma, John, and their daughter Mariti—are settling in for a perfect summer getaway at their secluded lakeside cabin. But things go south fast when their teenage daughter meets up with a friend in a nearby town, leading to a literal nightmare. Two girls end up crossing paths with a family of a completely different kind: psychopathic killers who just broke one of their own out of prison and are now on the run.
After a terrifying drive through the woods, the attacks begin. To make matters worse, the killers find themselves stranded on a desolate rural road by a sudden storm. They head toward a distant light they spot in the distance: "The Last House on the Left," where they knock on the door of Mariti's parents, who have no idea what kind of monsters they're letting in.
As the night unfolds, the Collingwoods realize exactly who their guests are and the atrocities they've committed. While a storm rages outside, the family finds themselves fighting for survival—and eventually, for revenge.
The 1972 original was the debut for writer and director Wes Craven, the film that launched a legendary career and breathed new life into the horror genre.
This marks the first English-language film for Greek director Dennis Iliadis. He claims his goal was to make this version feel even more visceral than the original. Garrett Dillahunt plays the killer, Krug; Monica Potter plays the mother, Emma Collingwood; and Tony Goldwyn plays the father, driven by vengeance.
While the setting isn't technically part of the cast, it's worth noting that although the film is set in the Pacific Northwest forests of Oregon, it was actually filmed in South Africa—specifically around Cape Town—to save on costs.
Alright, about to dive into this one.

Looks like a total walk in the park—too easy.

I tried looking there too, but honestly, it’s a mess to navigate 😕
Zachary Scott13 said:That movie—well, the concert—is absolute perfection. Honestly, I wouldn't bother trying to download it because it’s designed for 3D glasses; the quality will suck on a regular screen.
Just head over to AMC Theatres and catch it like a grown-up!
Yeah, does anyone know when and where this is playing in Los Angeles?
What did you guys think?
Btw, is there anywhere online I can watch this or download it? If anyone has a link, please don't PM me—just drop it here.
ruggedowl94 said:Heh, probably—the schizophrenia hit me so hard I actually felt a bone crack—it was pretty jarring, honestly.
I was wearing some kind of basket-style hat once and one of them just popped out—and there I was, thinking I could catch it with my foot.😠 Seriously, what kind of idiot was I? Anyway, what did your doctor end up telling you?
ruggedowl94 said:but that’s the catch—it didn't work, there's still a glitch in the system
as long as it doesn't hurt, right? I guess we'll just treat this as a lesson learned for next time--if we ever get that far
ruggedowl94 said:haha, honestly feels like you're describing my life—it's like looking in a mirror. I've got those same little scars, nothing major, just one from a bike accident and another from a rogue piece of firewood. Doesn't bother me much.
How long did it take before it was completely gone?
