I feel like fans get way too aggressive about demanding trades the second a player hits a slump. Sometimes you just have to stick by someone who's put in the years, right?
It doesn't matter if it's baseball, soccer, or anything else, there's always that one kid who gets all the playing time just because of who his parents are. It honestly makes me wonder if we're even teaching these kids actual competitive spirit anymore. Does anyone else feel like youth leagues are becoming more about social connections than actual talent?
Well, it’s just like I said. You either need proof of vaccination, a recovery certificate, or a negative PCR/antigen test. One of those three, I guess.

I honestly don't know.
All the main sites—like the State Department or official government portals—say you need some kind of paper or digital proof for all travelers coming from the European Union.
Maybe someone who just drove into Italy can weigh in.

Specifically, I'm looking at driving from California through Canada to get to Trieste.
To enter Italy, you still need a COVID certificate (vax, recovery, or a negative test), though you don't need one anymore for everything else like hotels, restaurants, or malls.
A new study from the United Kingdom suggests that Omicron might be less effective at attacking the lungs.
Every single new variant seems to get more infectious and dangerous than the last. Either Omicron becomes even more contagious and lethal than delta, or it mutates into something mild. There isn't really a third option, I guess.
A we saw when delta hit Europe, people started getting sick in huge numbers in Portugal and hospitalizations spiked almost immediately.

The vaccination rate there is incredibly low, and most of the population is young.
I guess the parents were trying to trigger some kind of domino effect here, hoping other families would follow suit, but violence is never the answer.
If they actually wanted results, they should have had all the parents from one grade level coordinate and agreed to keep their kids home until the mask mandates were lifted. You know, doing things in a polite, civilized manner.
Now, that might have actually been a productive way to fight the masks.
Instead, they just ended up looking like bullies, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. I suppose they've just ensured that everyone will be coming after them now.
