Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
Hey everyone!

Quick question for the group. I noticed Bet365 offers everything from casino games to sports betting. If I happen to hit a win—say, $100 or even $100,000 😁—and decide to withdraw those funds to the same debit card I used to deposit (via my local US bank), am I looking at any tax obligations or similar headaches?

Hey everyone,
"I have two questions. I'm planning to set up an LLC that will essentially sit dormant until some business actually picks up. My first question is: what are the overhead costs for a company that isn't active yet? Second, am I required to hire employees, or if I'm the sole owner, can I avoid paying payroll taxes and health insurance premiums since I'm already covered under my current full-time job elsewhere?"

Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. I'm also looking for a bookkeeper, so if you run a firm and handle accounting, feel free to reach out.
- standard business expenses =$18 U.S. Chamber of Commerce membership fees and bank service charges
- a company doesn't need employees, and if you're already employed elsewhere, you can't be double-enrolled for benefits.""

Best regards to all!

I could use some guidance here.
I currently have a steady full-time job, but I’ve gone ahead and incorporated an LLC, much like hudicek did. The business will focus on automotive accessories (basically retail)
Here is what I'm wondering...

1. Is it legal to hold down a regular full-time job while running my own company on the side? Or am I restricted to just one employer?

2. Let's say the company stays inactive for a while. No employees on the books. Then, a small opportunity pops up—say, I want to sell five quarts of motor oil to someone. What happens then? Am I forced to officially hire a staff member, or can I just step in as the director and handle it myself?

Thanks for the help!

Greetings, everyone.
To get straight to the point... I’m looking into Taekwondo. Does anyone here have hands-on experience with the Dan-Gun academy or the Maksimir club? I am open to any advice, recommendations, or personal accounts you might have. My main priority is finding a gym where the training is actually legitimate and disciplined.

Thanks.
Stomach issues / Acid reflux help in Health ·
They finally fixed the forum.... 🙂
Can someone please walk me through what the symptoms are supposed to look like? Since I posted last, things have mostly leveled out... more or less. Well, except for those two bananas, which actually hurt more than being hungry would have. For a day or two, my appetite was basically non-existent, and I had this bizarre lingering taste in my mouth. It wasn't nausea, per se, just a complete lack of interest in food. Honestly, I’m not even sure anymore. Once I eat, the pain subsides... though I do get some occasional rumbling in my gut after a meal. Just every now and then.
My stools are still a bit soft....
But it doesn't matter; I’ve got an appointment with my doctor tomorrow anyway. What are your thoughts?

Oh, and one more thing... ever since this started, it feels like I'm eating more. Or maybe it’s just my imagination? I eat my fill, yet I seem to get hungry again much faster than usual...???? Is it just me, or am I losing my mind here? 🤷😁😁😁

And just how long does this whole ordeal typically drag on? Some people are claiming it’s only a week or two... is that actually realistic?

Hello, everyone.
I’m 22 years old, my appetite is usually perfect—I can eat anything in sight without an issue—and I’ve never had any health problems before this (knock on wood)
To get straight to the point... about three or four weeks ago, I started dealing with some stomach nausea and this constant, nagging cramping sensation. My diet hasn't changed at all. My bowel movements were pretty standard, nothing unusual there. I went to see my doctor, and she initially suspected gastritis (which, frankly, felt like a lifetime sentence😁), but that wasn't the case. She prescribed some medication, but after taking just two pills, I felt incredibly nauseous—like I was on the verge of vomiting, though I couldn't actually go. I slept it off for a day, used the bathroom, and everything seemed back to normal. It was as if nothing had ever happened. My mother dealt with similar issues, though she couldn't shake hers until she actually started vomiting.
Fast forward to three weeks later... I had one single spicy kebab skewer today (it was a bit too hot for my liking, so I stopped eating immediately), and now, by this afternoon, the exact same symptoms from three weeks ago have returned.
Is this because of the food, or could it be some lingering bacterial issue from that first episode? Should I head back to the doctor, or... ??? I'm losing my mind here...!!!!
It feels like my stomach isn't even part of my body...😁 I can't tell if I'm hungry or full. I just got home from a night shift and tried to wolf down two bananas, and my stomach started aching again... I want to eat, but I just can't.
Like I said, I've never experienced anything quite like this before... I assume nobody is going to laugh at me for being this clueless...😁ž
Cheers...
External Hard Drive Recommendations? in Computer Peripherals ·
So, what kind of drive would actually hold up under pressure, and where can I find the high-end stuff? I’m looking at options starting from 1GB...

The motherboard is an ASUS M2N-SLI deluxe. I’ve currently got one hard drive installed, though there is physically enough room for another.😁

Greetings, everyone!

I’ve got a 250 GB drive that's hitting its limit, so I finally decided to just slap in another hard drive to clear some space. Well... I popped the case open, and while everything looks perfectly organized, I can't find a single spare power connector anywhere. It seems my theoretical knowledge is significantly outstripping my actual hands-on experience, so I figured it's probably safer if I don't touch anything just yet.

Is there actually a meaningful difference between an internal drive and an external one? I'm thinking specifically about speed and performance.
For instance, if I install a game on an external drive, will it run normally, or am I going to deal with lag because it's connected via USB? I assume data transfer speeds are a bit sluggish on those, right?

What are your thoughts on this drive? If you have any recommendations on where to pick one up or which model to go for, I'm all ears.
Also, how does one even go about connecting it?

Best regards to all.
Windows XP or Windows Vista? in Software ·
So, for the time being, Windows XP is the superior choice. Right now, at least. Once a year or two rolls by, we’ll probably all end up migrating over to Windows Vista. I suspect we won't have much of a choice once games start requiring DirectX 10 and other similar tech—hm... But until they actually figure out all those bugs, release a handful of service packs, and finally put together some decent drivers for Windows Vista (and by that, I mean everything), I’m staying firmly planted on Windows XP.

Cheers,

I have a quick question for the group.
Which operating system actually holds up better?
Windows XP or Windows Vista?
I've been hearing some chatter from certain circles suggesting that Vista isn't going to be anything to write home about.
And what’s the deal with games built for XP? Will they even run on Vista? I am well aware that the new DirectX 10 is significantly faster and more capable, but if I want to run Vista, I'm basically forced to go out and buy a whole new "beast" of a machine.
In all honesty, is upgrading to Vista even worth the headache?

Best,
