Thoughts on Thor: Love and Thunder? in Movies ·
Charles Davis81 said:Okay, this was a few years back so my memory isn't exactly top-tier, so I could easily be tripping... but didn't that get "fixed" after what Hela did?? If anyone could just lift it, there wouldn't have been that massive hype in Endgame when Captain America finally grabbed it, right?

Cap lifted the Mjolnir from 2013—it still had its enchantment and hadn't been shattered yet. It doesn't get broken until a few years later in Ragnarok.

In the trailer, Jane lifts the shattered Mjolnir from the main timeline—the one that lost its magic after Hela smashed it to pieces.

No—Jane just gets Thor's powers through some plot device. Chris is staying in the MCU, which is honestly one of the best updates we've had for the franchise lately.
So, I’ve got this minor issue that’s spiraled into something bigger over the last few days—figured I’d ask rather than just spiraling into a panic (if panic is even worth it).

I'm a soccer player, so I'm pushing my body hard every single day during training and games. I usually handle the strain fine—never had heart issues or anything else, really—and my checkups have been spotless for years. But lately, when I'm just chilling, sitting at my computer or lying down, I get this sensation in my chest that I can't quite put into words. It isn't a skipped heartbeat or anything like that; it feels more like there's a literal hole in my lungs that hits me every time I take a breath. Sometimes it even feels like there's phlegm deep inside, making my breathing feel rough.

I'm really hoping it's nothing heart-related, because aside from the occasional skip here and there, I haven't noticed any actual arrhythmias or anything concerning. Any ideas what this could be? To be honest, I'm starting to freak out a bit—it seems like way too many soccer players my age are dropping dead lately, and I'm not ready to be another headline. 😉
Are lefties actually smarter? in Psychology ·
I’m a Leftist, and I check almost every box mentioned in the first post—except for the artistic talent part, since I couldn't draw a stick figure to save my life. 😁 Biology and chemistry are much more my speed; I guess that’s why I’m aiming for med school.

As for perception and memory, I can't really say if mine is better than anyone else's—since I have no way of knowing how other people actually process the world—but it works perfectly well for me. My IQ is High IQ, and I'm incredibly hyperactive. I've maintained a straight-A average from first grade all the way through my junior year of college. I’m also pretty successful in sports, specifically playing competitive indoor soccer.

Don't take this as bragging; I'm just pointing out that there's a high probability those stereotypes about Leftists are actually justified. 😉
