So, my card finally showed up today (Monday, Dec 3rd). I have to say, I’m actually pretty surprised by how fast JPMorgan Chase handled everything. I mailed off my signed authorization back on November 28th, and somehow, less than a week later, the card was already sitting right there in my mailbox. Honestly, major props to them! Now, I have a quick question for the group—I’m heading out on a trip to the USA soon, and I was wondering if anyone knows if I'll be able to use this card over there without running into any issues?

Basically, for several years now, I’ve been working seasonal jobs on a standard full-time contract during July, August, and September—so I'm building up my seniority and paying all the necessary social security and taxes—but for the rest of the year, I just work freelance under various service contracts. All of my income goes directly into my checking account at Chase. Based on my tax returns, it looks like my total annual income is actually higher than the average American's. So, my main question is: do you think it's actually possible for a bank to approve me for a credit card, even though I don't have a permanent, year-round position? Thanks so much.
I was just hanging out over at the Bunčić place in Small Town, USA a few days ago. Honestly, the food there is great, and they’ve got this little boutique hotel that’s actually pretty affordable—I think it’s around $50 per person for a single room, though you could probably snag a better deal if you were sharing a room with two or three people. It’s a nice spot to take a stroll around, too... but I can't help feeling like they haven't really tapped into the full potential of what they have there yet. They seem to be lacking those extra little activities to keep you busy, and I suspect I might find myself getting a bit bored after just a few hours. I guess it really all comes down to whether or not you decide to go...
