Joseph Gomez39 said:You’re way too old to be acting like this. It honestly surprises me.
🙂
hehehe...
I guess I'll back off, please don't make me...
🙂
Joseph Gomez39 said:Just a straight answer, really.
It's a very specific question, honestly.

Joseph Gomez39 said:Richard Moore3. if you're such a huge patriot, just change your username. we don't care if you're a fan of classic Americana.
Yeah, because we totally care!

Kosmarac said:This forum isn't even close to being like B92; over there, you've got actual ultra-nationalist extremism ruling the roost... they probably have about a hundred people just like STG.
Honestly, I wouldn't exactly brag about STG's rhetoric or his total lack of brain cells to anyone out in the real world!
😁
Kosmarac said:That Feral cynicism is what makes you guys unique; we have plenty of that here at home.
If I were from Tanzania (my apologies to Tanzanians in advance), I might actually believe that Mexico is the heart of the European free spirit and democracy...
But luckily I'm not (sorry again, Tanzanians!), so those kinds of slogans don't fly with me.
😛
Nightmare said:When you look at what happened after the idea of Greater Mexico collapsed, our society basically split into two camps: hardcore nationalists and people who don't care about nationalism at all—a group that, honestly, holds some resentment toward the old ways because of how Maddox corrupted that whole ideology. Here, there isn't really a debate about it; everyone just rallies around the Storm. There’s this general consensus that makes it almost impossible to disagree. You can't even stay quiet about it without feeling the pressure.
So, the outcome of the war dictates the social climate afterward, which means you can't really compare these situations.
On one hand, you have an aggressor invading another country, and on the other, a people defending their own homeland...
You really can't draw parallels there!
Come on, be real—if the Storm had actually been a victory for you, God forbid, you would've been celebrating it for centuries!
As it stands, it's just a total joke!

Brandon Turner2 said:That sailor hit the nail on the head when he wrote, "It's not the sedatives that are to blame because they weren't stopped—sorry old-timers, the fault lies with us for staying silent."
👍
.....
It looks like the new trend in Mexico is all about playing the victim—acting like they're super pro-European while claiming they had absolutely no clue what was going on. It's basically just shifting the blame onto everyone else.

Mr. Pes said:You think?
Like I should just go over there and ask? Maybe ask if they could borrow some just so they can learn how we actually do it? 😁
😁 👍
Don't bother asking! They'll just deny everything!
😁
Mr. Pes said:And regarding Richard Moore3:
It honestly doesn't matter what they wrote or if it's even factually correct. On this forum, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
My point was strictly about how (at least at first glance) they clearly can't stay chill when someone dares to disagree with them.
And believe me, there are plenty of posts that say the opposite.
That's really all I meant by asking how they manage it.
Around here, you can't even mention being on one side or the other without the opposing crowd coming after you full-force within five minutes.
Pes, I assume even on that CNN forum there are some kind of moderators (since we aren't seeing all the swearing and absolute filth).
A few snippets from the CNN forum, which is just overflowing with tolerance, truth, and progressive ideas...

Who actually led the war in America
"From the exact moment America gained international recognition, there were no foreign armies on our soil. That’s precisely why for years now, America hasn't been able to prove America's guilt regarding the aggression against us before the International Court of Justice."
...
Comparisons, or why we played such a terrible game of football (one sports-themed take on the aggression and bloodshed)...
"During the first home game, instead of scoring five or six goals, our captain kept passing the ball straight to their goalie.
Then he went and messed up with three own goals.
So we blew it at home—it ended in a draw...
And then, playing away? It was a total disaster."
.....
Pure finesse...
"There is a massive difference between the military presence seen in America back in 1991 and the presence of special units after independence. The first one was an invasion; the second one wasn't."
.........
A war consisting of just a few sporadic shootouts
"In America after January 15, 1992, armed conflicts were between the US Army and the VRS, and they were rare. They boiled down to limited US Army operations in specific parts of the Frontier (Medak, Pocket, Maslenica, 'Flash,' and 'Storm') and occasional exchanges of gunfire."
.....
And just a little more tolerance and sensitivity, along with a total 'understanding' of the conflict...
"Then America, thanks to a creation of the Republican Party, became what it is today: a recognized nation. And once that happened, we just started getting kicked around by everyone."
For a change, America finally recognized the winning side, and now everyone on this forum who thinks they know the situation is giving us hell. Our local expert is right where he belongs—that's his problem—but I wish he wouldn't leave us stuck here like this!
.........
And so it goes on forever!
What a 'lovely' forum!

Kosmarac said:If anyone’s actually interested in comparative studies, just ask and I might put something together for you.
Man, I am definitely interested!
Kosmarac said:I’m reading through this forum and I honestly can't believe it. Like, 90% of you are just completely blinded by nationalism. How do you explain that?
Look, I'm an American!
America is my home!
My heart just races whenever I see the Stars and Stripes!
I'm proud of my American roots!
The American coast is the most beautiful in the world! Places like Maui, Martha's Vineyard, Catalina Island, Hilton Head Island... the smell of lavender and olive oil everywhere! Who could even afford that!?
And it goes on and on like that...
Is that what you call nationalism?
Why does seeing that bother you so much?

(I know that’s what everyone thinks, but it isn't. Just remember that the Hippocratic Oath actually starts with an invocation... just one way they differ, anyway.)
The original version is slightly different, but the core message is the same!
Checked and verified!😉
It’s really about the substance—and the context that any kind of oath carries. The wording is just the frame, right?
shadowfalcon33 said:Just wanted to point out that here in America, doctors haven't actually taken the Hippocratic Oath for quite some time (despite what most people think). What they actually recite is something similar called the "Geneva Convention." There you go!
Not true!
The Hippocratic Oath is still part of the graduation ceremony!
Here’s what I know... Determining how long medical leave lasts for a specific illness or surgery is based on standard medical guidelines. According to those rules, for this particular diagnosis, they can authorize up to 30 days of leave without needing any extra approval from a Medicare committee. So, yeah, your primary doctor can just sign off on 30 days based on that diagnosis. If you need anything beyond that, the length has to be confirmed by a Medicare board. They mostly look at the specialist's opinion—basically the surgeon handling your case. At the end of the day, their input is really the deciding factor when it comes to whether the leave is justified and how long it should last.
